I have noticed recently that when changing channels on my tv the sound disappears! If I scroll through the channels, back and forth, the sound will come back eventually. What could be causing this problem?

I am unable to get back to the top browse screen (where I have a choice of my library, radio stations, music services, etc. after having searched for and listened to an item chosen via my iPad or iPhone app. Navigation is fine using the app on my PC. Is there a way to return to the top browse screen on IOS devices? Thanks

hello, recently, my sonos started adding all songs i play (i usually play from the music library) to my queue. when the selected songs finish playing, sonos plays the queue - so sonos plays my selections twice. if i don't clear the queue, new songs are appended and the replay gets very long. how to i tell sonos not to add songs to the queue, and/or not to play the queue after it completes my current selection?

Can I sync my google agenda with my Sonos so Sonos Will give me a alarm and if possible what the activity is?

Been using android sonos app on my galaxy s8+ with no issues for months. When running, sonos icon never disappeared from notification area until starting yesterday when I purchased an echo dot and set up for use with sonos. Now, everything still works, but I need to formally open sonos app on order to use on phone, as the icon always disappears from notification area. I made no changes to my preferences after installing echo dot in my house.

I did it once by slowly moving my ipad around, keeping it generally pointed towards the sonos. Seemed to work well. Had a "pro" come by to install my playbase, and he waved his iPhone around like a manic, pointing it in all different directions, waving it quickly. Could be my imagination or bad memory, but it seemed worse this way. In general, what's the best way to move the device around when tuning?

This has only happened 3 or 4 times since setting up my system 4 months ago. But it seems to be getting worse. My master volume on the phone app has just slowly increased to max volume by itself! Once this turned up my Playbar, Sub and 2 Play 5s to MAX VOLUME downstairs as I was walking upstairs and connecting to my Play 1 in the bathroom. Needless to say my wife (and 6 weeks old daughter) were not overly impressed with this new feature. I've also found on occasion that it just turns everything down and if it try to turn it back up it just goes back down. And I've also once had it smash up to max volume and then the app gives me the buffer load wheel and i cant turn it down. It feels like SkyNet is getting in there and trying to destroy my families ears. This is a very annoying issue for a $5000 home HIFI rig. Any advice on how to stop this happening?

I have sonos 5.1 set up in living room which works well. I now have a play 5 in the dining room that works well,(meshed). Problem is my phone and laptop need stronger wifi in the dining room and would a single channel extender work without disrupting sonos?

I'm trying to install Sonos One. When trying to connect the controller to the speaker, I get the message Version Unconfirmed. 'There was a problem confirming if your Sonos Controller is up-to-date some features may not work' I can then go on to connect the wifi successfully, and can use the music function with streaming etc, but the setup does not give me the opportunity to either configure the optimum speaker setup or to enable Alexa. Have tried on two different PCs, one running windows seven and one windows 10 as well as a android phone, same error. Have tried unplugging and resetting router, same error. I've noticed this 'up to date' problem seems to be common but have not found any solution. Any advice?

My IPhone looses wifi at different areas in the house. I see that you can connect an Android device to Sonosnet, yet there is no mention for IOS devices.

Every time I use my Sonos controller on the iPad I get a box pop up asking about snooze alerts and do I want them turned on!! It's not a one off thing - it's been happening since the last update. No matter what I push to use the controller - it appears. I don't want them turned on - as in the picture, go to the contact page - it appears. How do I stop this - it's so,annoying.

I have multiple Sonos speakers throughout my house and use 2x PLAY:3 grouped for a radio alarm. Until the last update, I was able to have both grouped together and have the radio alarm play at the specified time. Seems that ever since I updated to the most recent firmware, the alarm will ungroup the speakers when kicking in/turning on, making the radio play on the one speaker only. If I turn on the 'include grouped rooms' when setting up the alarm, close the window and go back, the checkbox is no longer turned on. This is very frustrating! Anyone else having this issue? Any known workarounds?

I have recently changed my phone and in so doing now have the updated version of the sonos controller app..........WHAT HAS HAPPENED??? This is awful! Really awful! Why mess with something that was intuitive, straightforward and simply WORKED, and replace it with this shambles. I have loved my sonos system for the 5 years i have owned it but the way the new app works is really abysmal. Why oh why if i have searched for and added one song does the app feel the need to place 90 plus songs into the queue?? This makes the previously fantastic queueing system almost unusable. PLEASE PLEASE SORT THIS OUT SONOS. Your functionality was one of the plus points to keep you ahead of the ever growing number of alternatives in the wireless audio market. If i select one song, i only want one song otherwise i would select to play the whole album. Just bought 4 Play1 which I have placed on wall mouths in each corner of my living room. Have set it up as two stereo pairs. Now I want to use this Trueplay-thing for the best sound possible. But it want work with my iphone X. Why? And when will it work?

I was trying to help a friend set her Sonos up on Android devises. Somehow, I managed to get 2 of her Sonos Play 1's listed on my iPhone. In addition, my email address is showing up on her devises as her registered Sonos email address. How can I get her products off of my iPhone (her Play 1's are not showing up on any of my other devises) and my email address out of her Sonos app?

Since the version 8.0 app (and subsequent updates) I have noticed that when you change rooms or group rooms there is a lag on the app before it updates itself. E.g. Playing music in the Kitchen then move it to Lounge, the app will still show music playing in the Kitchen for a while. At times its taken up to 30 secs to refresh. This was not an issue before the version 8.0 app. The music transfer itself is pretty instant tho, which is obviously the important thing! Yes I know it's a 'first world problem' and probably a symptom of the modern need for 'instant gratification' but I was wondering whether this is just a problem with my set up that could be a symptom of something else? Or have others noticed this?

How to shut sonos off?

Bought a play 1 and the setup was smooth ,, now downloaded the app on my wife’s iPhone and selected add to existing account and to my surprise all my playlists show on her Sonos app while her own Apple Music doesn’t . What am I doing wrong . Tried creating new account and the ‘Sonos’ wifi not to be found in the list of wifi network. Please help. Can’t believe others in the house can’t use the speaker without me being around .

My family HATES the app update. It’s design is not user friendly at all! Just doesn’t make me want to go out and add to my system!

I run some Devialet Phantoms and the Devialet wireless remote control is just wonderful - silky smooth, artistic object on the desk. Granted those are in a different price class and I don't expect Sonos to have something like that but is there a way that I can control the volume from my desk with a dedicated remote control? If yes, how? Thanks.
