I have sonos 5.1 set up in living room which works well. I now have a play 5 in the dining room that works well,(meshed).
Problem is my phone and laptop need stronger wifi in the dining room and would a single channel extender work without disrupting sonos?

Hey there, jwood. Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community. If you want to add an extender or access point with the least impact on Sonos, I would recommend making sure the extender can be set into a Bridge mode. This allows for the device to act as an extension of the router's network rather than a new network with a different name.

Best of luck!
