when i click on the download  (Sonos_76.2-47270.exe) executable, Sonos - InstallShield Wizard starts, asking the language ‘nederlands’ but after a while it stops “bezig met het installeren van Microsoft visual C++ 2019 Redistributable Package x86”; after soms mùinutes i get from the Sonos - InstallShield Wizard a message that the installation of Microsoft visual C++ 2019 Redistributable Package x86 seems to have failed. Do you want to continu? yes or no. Even when i select yes nothing happens.What to do ? 

Amazon Music and YouTube MusicI have been given a Sonos Play 5 (Gen 1) by a relative and I would like to add the services listed above but cannot find them on the list of the Sonos 1 app.I would appreciate help with this.Thank you! 

Spotify does not appear as an option in the list of music services in my Sonos S2 App in iOS.New Arc Soundbar, downloaded the Sonos S2 App, followed the instructions to add a new music service, but among the many services listed, Spotify is not showing. (?)I have Spotify premium and can airplay music to the Arc, but why is Spotify not listed as an option in the S2 App?

I have a recurring issue with my S1 appI have a gen 1 Play5 in my gym; it is the only Sonos product in there.  The remainder of my Sonos products are S2Almost all the time now, when I open my S1 app on the phone, it doesn’t connect, I get the message at the top saying “Sonos found let’s connect”As soon as I do this it connects to the S2 group and I have to reset the app.If I try and connect to an existing network, all it does is connect to the S2 “network” and I go round in cirlces resetting and trying to connect again.Eventually after random attempts, when “connecting to an existing network” I get the prompt to hit the two buttons on the device.  It then connects correctlyWhat is odd is that I can start the device playing without the app and that is fineI have had various successes (although these may just be random), but not yet found a surefire way to resolve itToggling wifi on and off (before and during the set up phase) Turning location services off waiting! Hi,Having spent time (a lot !) on both ‘chat’ and Remote access i am still unable to add my music library ? It started off as “error 1002” and since my last Remote Access use, is now “computer is not responding” although i am sat using it, and made sure that the external drive is awake ?? so far I have: toured my new Windows 11 PC, with the help of remote access, set up the various firewall options as outlined here. Checked the ports 445 & 3445 (they’re ‘listening’). Set up a music folder on the desktop, which did not work. Reset my Sonos System. All to no avail. The nice person on remote access was also at a loss, although when using the same service last year on my old PC, Remote Access sorted the issue very swiftly. Cannot add the service via any of the tablets or phones, so I’m really stuck.! I have read nearly every article or reply on here, and i am no further forward. ANY help would be gratefully accepted. or…. the system will end up in a skip somewhere :-).Thanks in advance

Treble adjustment not working on S1 app for 'old' play 5 systems.   The 'Bass' slider and the balance slider as well as the loudness knob do have a clear effect but the moving the 'treble' slider has no noticeable affect at all.

I have the Victrola Stream Carbon, and love it...but there is one frustration.  I have it set to autoplay in the kitchen, where I listen to it 90% of the time.  However, sometimes I want to only listen to it in the office without playing it in the kitchen.  I can group the office with the kitchen, and it works fine, but if I go back in and remove the kitchen so that it would only play in the office, it loses the connection to the Victrola and stops playing.I know I can go into the Victrola app and use QuickPlay to send it to the office, but I would like a way to do this without having to go into an otherwise obscure app that has no other use….It would be nice to be able to select the Victrola as a music source directly in the Sonos app.  Is there a way to list it as a music source?

I have Sonos Roam and a linux server with a DVB receiver USB dongle capable of broadcasting digital free-to-air radio in my home network. Is this possible at all to play stream like this?

I have discovered the craziest thing—I have lossless apple compressed songs in my local music library that I know are supported bit depth and sample rate—but when I try to play them by using “Music Library” as the source, it says “unsupported”. However, when I use Plex as the music source and play the same exact song, it plays it just fine. Does anyone here hasve any explanation or fix for this?! I REALLY do not want to re-encode these into lower quality files, and my major playlists are all in my itunes/apple library (which is how many of the songs are accessed)Thanks!

 I cannot add my music files to my Music Library. The files are on an external T7 4TB APFS- formatted SSD-disk, and I am running the Sonos S1 Controller App. My Mac OS system is Ventura 13.3. What can be wrong?

Hi.My SONOS system (Play 5 and Connect) has been in store and have recently recommissioned my setup.I store all my music on a NAS drive and Asset UPnP. However, I can only play one track at a time and not the whole album but I could in the past.Just to confuse issues, I can play everything on my HIFI, So doubt it’s an indexing problemAny idea why? .   

I have a ten year old Sonos system w built in speakers attached to my components.  What would it cost to upgrade the entire system?what would an upgrade provide compared to my current system?

Any idea what's wrong with the Sonos Android app? The landing "My Sonos" page is just a collection of blank boxes (screenshot attached). I've tried force stopping and restarting the app, as well as un/reinstalling, but get the same issue, making it unusable.  

So my wife bought these Ikea sonos speaker, I am so f**king disappointed on Sonos system..The piece * does not intrergrate well the Google. So I have come to mind that I cannot control my Sonos speaker with Google. Thus I have a suboptimal solution….Now I have created a speaker group in the * App from Sonos and it worked well for one day. Spotify identified the speaker group. Now it doesn't find the speaker group. Is this an intended bug from Sonos to make life harder.So what's solution to theis bug…*Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.* 

Only about 50% of the time can I rely on Sonos to play items from my music library when I want it. Most often when it doesn’t work it’s because a software update has been posted, and that completely freezes the system until I apply the update.  Usually I lose my queue at that point, and often in addition I find music won’t play because my “server cannot be found” or because the controller can’t find the speakers, or both. This occurs constantly and it’s a HUGE inconvenience. Have a small system w/ 3 older speakers (A Play One and 2 Sonos Ones. One of the Ones had Alexa; but I have killed her.). I keep my personal music library on my desktop hard drive. My router is an Xfinity XB 7-T.A few days ago it was playing nicely but I paused play. When I went back to it, it would not play because it needed an update. After the update, it said it couldn’t find the server. The various contradictory “solutions” I find online to that issue don’t always immediately produce a fix. Two days haven’t sol

I have been a longtime SONOS user and SiriusXM subscriber, and have been able to connect to Sirius over SONOS for years. However, I am being asked to re-authorize my Sirius account on SONOS. When I do, the Sirius authorization page says my account is not valid (“We don't recognize your username or password. Please try again.”). This happens whether I try to authorize my account from the SONOS mobile app or the SONDO desktop controller. The Sirius login information I have input is correct, because I am logged into my Sirius account on the same devices (desktop and mobile) using those same credentials. I also have the Sirius app on my phone and am logged into that with the same credentials.  I have tried deleting Sirius from my music services in SONOS and re-adding, but am getting the same error. Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone know of a workaround?

So, I have had an issue with Audible for a while now on my Sonos Beam (gen2).  Randomly the speaker would start playing the last position in an audio book that I played through the linked Audible account.  From my network logs, I was able to determine that the Sonos would start playing right after losing connection and reconnecting to my access point.  This seems reasonable but even if the stream was paused for 2 weeks, it would start playing again scaring the crap out of everyone in the room if the volume was up.  I really would like to clear the current stream so the speaker has absolutely nothing to play.In the Sonos app, it would show the Audible stream at the bottom every time I open the app whether playing or paused.  My question, is how can I reset / close / remove that stream?  There is nothing that I can find to do it.  Opening up the stream and clicking the 3 dots shows where I can change the speaker but that is it.  Even if I uncheck my Beam it will pause if playing but does

I recently purchased two Era 300’s to go with my Arc and Sonos sub.  The sound is phenomenal!  One issue I noticed is that the volume will increase when the playlist goes to the next song and the song is recorded in Dolby Atmos and Crossfade is enabled.  The volume increase only lasts for a few seconds but it’s pretty startling.  I’ve noticed the issue with Apple Music and Amazon.  The solution is to disable the crossfade option and all is well.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Please fix, ios works fine but speakers won't show up as a playable device on galaxy device. Currently fold 5 under Spotify or qobuzz. The sonos devices are the most temprental equipment I own. Slowly moving everything away.Wiim are putting sonos to shame. Everything works no issues ever and half the price. Lift your game or become irrelevant. 

my app was connected to my system and everything is working just fine. Now I cannot connect. I have tried rebooting and starting everything over again but nothing seems to work. Sonos support is closed. Can anybody help

Sonos won't play thru Google home.  All Google apps and devices updated. Sonos Ray is updated and brand new.  Add to Google home and set as default speaker.  All seem to connect just fine.  Ask it to play music and it says something like "the service is not set up yet"  Cannot add voice thru the Sonos app, when I click on add voice device it just opens a help page which is no help at all.
