I just downloaded the Sonos Windows App an I find it so much better to useIf I use the desktop app will it play Dolby Atmos through my Arc like it does with the IOS app?Ta

Hi there - I’m currently trying to troubleshoot the following situation: I’m setting up an in-office Sonos system.  We have one shared network, and we’ve set up four Sonos Fives around the office.  I am the admin for this system, and it works fine.  Separately, I set up a single Era 300 for one specific office.  It’s assigned to a different system with a different account admin, but on the same network.If I log into my Sonos account, I only see the system that I own - the Sonos Fives - which is exactly what I want.  However, if I log into my Spotify, I can access the Era 300 and play through it.  I want to make sure that the Era 300 is not usable by anyone but the person who occupies the office/owns the system.  How do we accomplish this?

I use my Sonos Connect as a streamer connect to my Hifi, and I am currently using Amazon music as a music provider. The problem is that I cannot use the Amazon music app to select the music to stream through my Sonos Connect, I am forced to use the Sonos app; this is a serious limitation since in this way I cannot use most of the functionalities provided by the Amazon music app, which are useful in discovering new music. Do you know which HD music provider (e.g. tidal, deezer, etc.) would give me direct access thorugh their native app to my Sonos Connect streaming functionalities?Thanks a lot!

I use Sonos to listen to SiriusXM shows/episodes, and noticed a big change this week. I had to re-search for my show to find it again as I couldn’t just ‘browse’ for it like before (my favorite went away), and now when I play on-demand content I no longer get to see what song/artist is playing :( This is a big reason why I listen to SiriusXM via Sonos vs. the Alexa app (as Alexa can’t provide that information). Will this functionality be coming back? If not, I guess I’ll have to go back to using the SiriusXM app itself, but I certainly prefer using Sonos for many reasons. Also - SiriusXM finally restored skip forward/back for on-demand content in their apps - curious if this will be carried forward to the Sonos app as well?Really bummed of these changes - I’m sure it’s related to SiriusXM’s horrible app changes these past few months on all platforms. The QA testing was abysmal to say the least.

I keep my music library on a NAS device. I have many albums on there that were ripped from vinyl LPs. As a result the track names don’t include numbers that are needed to ensure that when I play an album it plays in the order the artist intended. Recently I have started to edit the track names to include numbers at the beginning - just as they are when ripped from a CD.  My problem is that the changes I have made are not appearing in the music library. If I look at the Folders view in the library all is well and my changes are there. If I navigate via Artist > Album > Tracks nothing has changed and when I play the album it still plays in alphabetical order.  What do I need to do to reflect the new track names in the library? I have tried deleting the share and re-adding it which had no effect. I have tinkered with the setting for track ordering, also to no effect. What else can I try?

Just fired up Sonos and went to stream Sirius.  Upon logging in I was asked to reauthorize my account. I did and now it only shows the channel and not the channel and song playing.  Please fix asap!! 

On such premium priced pieces of equipment it feels neglectful that Sonos doesn’t get its s*** together on the controller app and make it so we don’t have to play stupid games to access the Sonos playlists we’ve created as well as making it so the controls consistently show on my Lock Screen. Both are issues I’ve put time into understanding and trying to find work arounds for, both only work somewhere around 15-20% of the time This has been ongoing since I started using Sonos in 2015 which is absolutely obnoxious since I doubt either fix requires more than a little time from any of their average computer coders.  I know “adding a new song” to a Sonos playlist will make them reappear but, c’mon SONOS, is that really acceptable to yall?? I mean I’ve been singing you guys praises to everyone whenever talking about your equipment and prob got around $2k in your gear and you can’t even fix simple stuff to make our experience more enjoyable and seamless? So I just added 2 Era100 as surround speakers to my  Arc and Sub mini setup. I always stream music and films from my Xbox. Services like Disney will give me surround sound, no problem. Spotify however will not. I have no idea why. Surround will work if I stream Spotify directly from my Tv tu my phone. Thanks for your help. 

In the Sirius XM app, channels do not list. Favorites show and play, but the other channels do not list. I have rebooted the Sonos and the router. It is the same on all devices having the Sonos app. i sent diagnostics 1664276331

I have two play ones paired in the kitchen and a few time I have come home and they are playing music with no body in the house. It also has happened a few times where I have been there and they randomly start playing. It is only this paired play one’s doing it. If I select the speakers in the Sonos app I can see it is playing from Spotify and there is no queue for the tracks. I have then cancelled it playing. 

is anyone else experiencing a conflict between the Sonos signal and BBC Sounds?All other Chanels are working.

I have several Sirius On Demand categories favorited on Sonos. They no longer have episodes available. And when I browse through the Sonos app, On Demand is no longer an option. Is anyone else experiencing this?

We have been playing BBS Sounds through Sonos for a year or so with no problem whatsoever.  Then last week it started dropping out after a few minutes with a message ‘song not encoding correctly’.  Have rebooted router, reloaded BBC Sounds, no change.  Has anyone any ideas?

Trying to connect sonos to my new S23 phone, app keeps telling me I need to allow location permissions to connect to my network, it sends me to settings, but I already have given permission for precise location. Have tried reinstalling sonos app, unplugging/reseting router, turning off VPN, but keeps sending me to settings to give permission, which, again, is enabled. Any help would be great, thanks! 

I have a Sonos account at the office, one at my friends place, and now I have to set up mine at my place. Is there a way to set up multiple accounts on the app via my iPhone without logging in and out every time?

Not being able to start a podcast from the Spotify Sonos service is a Spotify issue.  Please vote for the idea in the Spotify community.  If it gets enough votes, Spotify may fix the issue.https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/Support-podcasts-in-Sonos/idi-p/5642007 Note:  You can cast from within Spotify to Sonos speakers, but the playback controls do not work consistently.  For example, skipping forward 15 secs may skip to next episode.  This is a consistent problem with how Spotify works when casting to any system, not just to Sonos, and the Spotify proposed solutions may or may not work or may work and then reappear.

I was happily using Spotify to Airplay to my speakers and then I wanted to use YouTube, which would have been fine except that I was not trying the correct way, thought I might need to use the Sonos App and found that it had been paged out on my ios system and as a result lost all my options setting etc. Also when I want to add my speakers back it goes though and then asks me for password, where do I find the password?

I’ve seen this was a problem from months ago, I got a new system and it’s not showing Spotify in the app and can’t connect directly via Spotify, airplay does work, and other app like SoundCloud does work.i have already reset all the system (twice) I have talked with support for an hour( we went through all the basic solutions they knew)  got disconnected because a mistake of mine.

Is there a way to pick Atmos over UHD as the default playback format if both options are available while streaming via the Sonos app? For example, De Selby Part 2 by Hozier has UHD and Atmost tags on Amazon music app. However, I can only play its UHD version via Sonos. PS: I have the Spatial Music option enabled in the Sonos app.Thanks!

My Sonos Connect can no longer play any music following an update to the SMB package on my Synology drive. I’ve followed the guides about setting up the appropriate SMB1 access allowing NTLM access, but when I try and connect, I just get “access denied” even though my S2 products are pointed at the same share. The NAS logs show the S1 product connecting but the Sonos app is throwing the error. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone have a solution?

Hello, all.I will occasionally get a prompt to update the Sonos controller on my (Windows) desktop app. (Sometimes I will simply navigate to Check for Software Updates, too, as a good habit.) Either way, when I do, I get an error message that the process failed … but when I try again, I get a reassurance that “No Update Required,” and my “Sonos system is up to date.” Well, that’s great. But then what was the error message all about?This has been going on for years, but I can’t tell where to look in the menus to determine if I really am running the latest, best version of the controller/software. I recently switched from deezer to spotify.Accessing spotify source from sonos I do not see “liked songs” playlist. Where am I wrong ?Thanks

I have a Synology NAS drive with all my musc and have created an account for the sonos system. Total Songs = 47900 +Library Settings default All display In iTunes with no issue.When I update libraray on Sonos App Windows 10 some tracks never update and are missing when wanting to play an album of an artist. Also same happens updating Sonos App on iPhone or Samsung. Anyone know what I am doing wrong, or please offer suggestion for me to resolve,
