Controllers and Music services

I have two play ones paired in the kitchen and a few time I have come home and they are playing music with no body in the house. It also has happened a few times where I have been there and they randomly start playing. It is only this paired play one’s doing it. If I select the speakers in the Sonos app I can see it is playing from Spotify and there is no queue for the tracks. I have then cancelled it playing. 

is anyone else experiencing a conflict between the Sonos signal and BBC Sounds?All other Chanels are working.

I have several Sirius On Demand categories favorited on Sonos. They no longer have episodes available. And when I browse through the Sonos app, On Demand is no longer an option. Is anyone else experiencing this?

We have been playing BBS Sounds through Sonos for a year or so with no problem whatsoever.  Then last week it started dropping out after a few minutes with a message ‘song not encoding correctly’.  Have rebooted router, reloaded BBC Sounds, no change.  Has anyone any ideas?

Trying to connect sonos to my new S23 phone, app keeps telling me I need to allow location permissions to connect to my network, it sends me to settings, but I already have given permission for precise location. Have tried reinstalling sonos app, unplugging/reseting router, turning off VPN, but keeps sending me to settings to give permission, which, again, is enabled. Any help would be great, thanks! 

I have a Sonos account at the office, one at my friends place, and now I have to set up mine at my place. Is there a way to set up multiple accounts on the app via my iPhone without logging in and out every time?

Not being able to start a podcast from the Spotify Sonos service is a Spotify issue.  Please vote for the idea in the Spotify community.  If it gets enough votes, Spotify may fix the issue.https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/Support-podcasts-in-Sonos/idi-p/5642007 Note:  You can cast from within Spotify to Sonos speakers, but the playback controls do not work consistently.  For example, skipping forward 15 secs may skip to next episode.  This is a consistent problem with how Spotify works when casting to any system, not just to Sonos, and the Spotify proposed solutions may or may not work or may work and then reappear.

I was happily using Spotify to Airplay to my speakers and then I wanted to use YouTube, which would have been fine except that I was not trying the correct way, thought I might need to use the Sonos App and found that it had been paged out on my ios system and as a result lost all my options setting etc. Also when I want to add my speakers back it goes though and then asks me for password, where do I find the password?

I’ve seen this was a problem from months ago, I got a new system and it’s not showing Spotify in the app and can’t connect directly via Spotify, airplay does work, and other app like SoundCloud does work.i have already reset all the system (twice) I have talked with support for an hour( we went through all the basic solutions they knew)  got disconnected because a mistake of mine.

Is there a way to pick Atmos over UHD as the default playback format if both options are available while streaming via the Sonos app? For example, De Selby Part 2 by Hozier has UHD and Atmost tags on Amazon music app. However, I can only play its UHD version via Sonos. PS: I have the Spatial Music option enabled in the Sonos app.Thanks!

My Sonos Connect can no longer play any music following an update to the SMB package on my Synology drive. I’ve followed the guides about setting up the appropriate SMB1 access allowing NTLM access, but when I try and connect, I just get “access denied” even though my S2 products are pointed at the same share. The NAS logs show the S1 product connecting but the Sonos app is throwing the error. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone have a solution?

Hello, all.I will occasionally get a prompt to update the Sonos controller on my (Windows) desktop app. (Sometimes I will simply navigate to Check for Software Updates, too, as a good habit.) Either way, when I do, I get an error message that the process failed … but when I try again, I get a reassurance that “No Update Required,” and my “Sonos system is up to date.” Well, that’s great. But then what was the error message all about?This has been going on for years, but I can’t tell where to look in the menus to determine if I really am running the latest, best version of the controller/software. Several of the online community threads brush close to this issue but never really address it squarely. Thus this post.Yes, I have tried restarting the computer. I recently switched from deezer to spotify.Accessing spotify source from sonos I do not see “liked songs” playlist. Where am I wrong ?Thanks

I have a Synology NAS drive with all my musc and have created an account for the sonos system. Total Songs = 47900 +Library Settings default All display In iTunes with no issue.When I update libraray on Sonos App Windows 10 some tracks never update and are missing when wanting to play an album of an artist. Also same happens updating Sonos App on iPhone or Samsung. Anyone know what I am doing wrong, or please offer suggestion for me to resolve,  

Having an issue with Apple Music playlists not visible within the Sonos app, I’ve tried removing Apple Music from services and adding back to no avail - could anyone recommend how this might be fixed? TIA

Our router had been reset and I cannot now find my system neither can I access my account, system and services/voice on the app.  Phone or iPad app cannot find the system???????

Is anyone having problems with Pocketcasts on Sonos S2? I subscribe to a good number of different podcasts which were all working fine, but since this morning all BBC podcasts no longer play. I get the familiar error ‘the connection to the pod casts was lost’ I have tried re-authorising the account, also deleting account and setting up again but this has made no difference, The effected podcasts are available and working using Pocketcasts outwith Sonos.

For the last week (at least) our Sonos system cannot access my Apple Music playlists. When I select playlists (or Recent) it says "We've run into a problem. Try again later." All other features of Apple Music appear to work including songs, albums, artists, etc. I've already reinstalled the app. I've reauthorized the Apple Music account. These did not work. Any idea? Also this is my first post but I've had a LOT of issues with Apple Music working with sonos over the past 2 years. It's been pretty bad and unreliable. ThanksGreg

Hi!Since some time, the Sonos app on Android activates two notifications (one is normal and works well, the other is like a ghost notification, useless).I’ve tried to reinstall the app but with no effect. Problem is present on multiple devices, with Android 11, 12 and 13.Other with the same bug?

Can I play different playlists with a Spotify account (one on the connect and the other on the 2x Play:1)? I have a Spotify premium duo subscription. thanks in advance

What happened to the Southern Soul Network station. I am no longer able to listen to it?

Hi,I recently bought a couple of Sonos-speakers, having heard a lot of positive things about the brand. I connected them to my YouTube Music-account and everything worked flawlessly, until this weekend.Suddenly I only get a message that says “Unable to browse music” when trying to open my start page or hitlists. I try to google a bit, and after trying to both delete/add account and reauthorize without success I decide to contact Sonos support.Sonos support tells me to try the same old reset this and that, and proceeds to say that there is nothing wrong on their part, I have to contact Google because the issue stems from my account.Google tells me that they don’t have anything to do with the Sonos-app, so I have to contact Sonos support.So what am I supposed to do?? Am I the only one with this problem concerning YouTube Music?

I have been struggling to restore my Music Library located on a WD Home Cloud to my SONOS system since WD issued the notice that the support was changing last August in an email.I have followed the instructions supplied in the two associated links, Answers 34991 & 50881 to the letter.The basic configuration of my system is as follows:Internet router with WD Home Cloud plugged into 1 port, and SONOS Connect plugged into 2nd port. and 5 various speakers connected via wifiFollowed the instructions for IOS products, using Mac (IOS Sonoma 14.2.1), iPhone (IOS 16.6.1), iPad (IOS 17.2)Using the SONOS App S2 (Version 15.11)I have even altered my Folder structure on the drive to reflect the instructions that have been given as follows:smb://WD Drive/Media Files/My Music/I created a local user as instructed for example, Localuser with a password LocalPW01But after every alteration or change to settings, I am unable to add to the S2 app my music library.The WD Home Cloud drive I can access on
