Putting the unmitigated shambles of the release of 80.00.xx and the host of missing features aside for a moment (it is clear that Sonos’ C-suite is doubling-down and nothing we complain about is going to make a difference), can we PLEASE, PLEASE have proper release notes for the upcoming torrent of new releases that will inevitably be released over the coming months?

Repeating the same thing over and over helps no-one, and I’m even willing to overlook the blatant lies about getting to my music faster!

So, please Sonos, do the decent thing. Own your mistakes and provide clear information for each micro-release, so that we know what’s changed, what is required to see the changes, and what is still outstanding. For example, last night I upgraded my iPhone to version 80.00.08 and still can’t see the alarms…

Great! But why is this not visible when you update the app, rather than having to go search for it in the depths of a website??


I don’t know, but internet search “sonos release notes” works for me.
