Understanding the Network Details section in the Sonos app - where is that section?

Sonos support writes the following on how to evaluate your network:"Understanding the Network Details section in the Sonos appIn the Sonos app, you can see detailed networking information for each product connected to your router’s WiFi network. Note that these details will not appear for Sonos products in a wired setup, products being used as home theater surround speakers or subwoofers, or a Sonos Move when in Bluetooth mode. Go to the  Settings menu and select the name of one of your rooms. Select the name of one of the products within that room. Under the Status section, select Network to see the network details for that product. At the top of the Network Details screen, you’ll see the name of the connected WiFi network as well as a signal strength indicator of Excellent, Good, or Weak."I go in under Settings, choose a room, choose the Amp there - and see no status section. It shows Connection - Wifi on and off. And “Visit Help Center”. That’s all.What gives? Where can I find t

New app not working on my ipad

The new app works on my phone but not at all on my iPad. If I’m out no one at home can access the Sonos!Any suggestions would be helpful - other than replacing Sonos with Alexa!!!!

Can’t disable sub audio in new app

The Sonos app (iOS) recently updated with a new layout. I can no longer enable/disable sub audio for my system. The toggle for it doesn’t seem to do anything, and if I toggle it off, leave, and return to the screen it shows as on again.I enable or disable my sub depending on whether my neighbors are around, and now I can’t control it. Suggestions?

IOS App, browse album by artist

I would like to see ALL ALBUMS ONLY for a particular artist, and after playing one, easily return to the list. I’m quite surprised I can’t figure this out.  Instead, I see a mix of singles and albums, and the list isn't as extensive as what I find in APPLE MUSIC library when going through that directly. Is this a missing feature? I used to browse in this manner with the previous app version.  Second minor point, I seem to get a conflated list when multiple artists have the same name (John Williams), but Apple Music itself will show multiple artists, and can drill down to their respective lists (by song or album).  I’m going to be real embarrassed if this is just a click I didn’t find...

Help! Alarms have gone mad!

Since switching my Sonos One to a new wifi network and having to do a factory reset to set it back up my alarms have gone crazy.  It does not play the alarms I set over the speaker (although it looks like the music is playing based on app notifications) and it is setting i off alarms (using my selected favorites at least) at times I have never had set - - 7 am everyday, other random times during the day but consistent. I’ve tried deleting all alarms and resetting them, looked at all the app settings.  It’s not as if it’s holding a memory of old alarms and the time zone is correct. I use google voice assistant and spotify and sonia radio.  Help!  I’m at a loss.

Casting from plexamp?

Can someone please explain how I can cast directly to my Play1,s from the plexamp app. I have plex pass and can play from the sonos app but no way can I see how to make sonos a "player" under the casting icon.?I have sonos 2 installed on my android phone.

New SONOS app: many features no longer available!

Think twice before you install the new SONOS app as at least the following features are no longer available (temporarily or permanently):Sleeptimer has disappeared completely. Either you sleep the entire night with music on or you wake up to switch off the music… Quite defeats the purpose. Alarms: creating and editing an alarm is no longer possible. You can only toggle an existing alarm on and off. Local music library: make sure you don’t remove it as it is no longer possible to add a local music library stored on a NAS or shared device. Also the search doesn’t work on the local library any longer; it only searches the online music services. Sonos seems to have finally let down its initial user population that made Sonos big before music streaming services existed…Either this is a deliberate choice by Sonos to reduce the functionality or someone validated a pre-beta release for production to meet some preset deadlines… In any case, don’t upgrade if you need these features.

Alarms often don't go off

Today, again, my alarm did not go off at the appointed time. This has been happening on a weekly basis since the launch of the new app.This alarm is configured to go off on weekdays at 6.35am, play a random song from a playlist (creatively called 'Wake-up songs'), play at 10% volume, and run for 2 hours.Yesterday morning, the alarm went off at 6.35 normally, and I woke up.Today, I woke at 6.53, and noticed that my alarm was utterly silent.In the app, I could then verify that:The alarm was still configured as described The alarm was switched on The Sonos app was not reporting any issuesHowever, the playlist for the Sonos One by my bed was entirely empty, which is inexplicable as I hadn't done anything since waking up from the alarm yesterday. Normally, the song that woke me up is in the playlist until the next morning.I've already reinstalled the new app after deleting app data and cache. I've also recreated the alarm. The issue keeps popping up. What's the fix?

Does the controller on Android work much better than on ios?

While the new controller on android still can’t deal with libraries, it does at least “work”. But on my iPad the new controller doesn’t even want to draw the screen or do anything.

Sonos IOS Controller 80.04.04 Update

Fixed for me using 80.04.04 on my iPad:Sonos Favorites now shows all of my Favorites not just the first 18 items. It now behaves just like the new Sonos web app. Thank you.Still an issue for me:Selecting the Plex Service still “occasionally” times out on the first attempt before returning anything. It generally works on the 2nd attempt. Sonos can you please increase the timeout when waiting for the Plex response. The old Sonos 16.1 app on my iPhone and the new Sonos web app doesn’t have this problem, just the new Sonos IOS app.I am still choosing to use SonoPad for local music library playback, mainly because the new Sonos app still doesn’t support the A-Z positioning for Artists and Albums which makes it unusable with a large music library containing a lot of Artists/Albums to manually scroll through . Once this issue is fixed, I hope to start using the new Sonos app for everything again.Ross.

SONOS Controller for MAC 16.2 will not connect to Itunes Library on Mac OS Sonoma 14.5

Please help me understand why SONOS would issue a version that will not work with MAC OS Sonoma14.5.  I have tried to 4 hours to get it to connect to my itunes play list and it will try to connect and then it will not connect.  It continues to give me a multiple versions of errors.  Please help.

New App - How do I select a zone?

How do I select a zone where to play something in the new app? If I open “Your System” I have no way to select a zone where I want to play something, it only let me group zones. If I deselect everything and select only a new zone it does not work it does not play. I only can join a new zone with my currently playing zone otherwise nothing works. This app update is 💩, it renders everything useless. What a mess.

New sonos app

After upgrade to new sonos app, I have major isses whit the new app. First it is not intuitive and it response very slow, I know I have a lot of Sonos in my home and also a Boost connected directly to my router. When I ude the new app from my android mobile or the new app from my iPad pro, it’s response is very very slow. Sometimes when i Pick a new Music playlist, it can just wait and wait and then either begin or come whit a massage that something went wrong….If I Want to ajust volume, sometimes there is a delay for more than 30 sec and sometimes it just live its own life and do not respond at all. I am very unhappy whit the new sonos app, I newer had any issues whit the old app. I have a 1000 / 1000 fiber connection to internet, so no problem this way…..I have tried to shut Down for all Sonos speakers, and the boost and my router, then start everything up again, beginning whit my Router, then Sonos boost an so on…Any one no way the app react so slow….???

It’s now July - no fixes to the system / app update.  May I suggest a fix?…. get rid of the CEO.

new app equaliser wont work

Support reckons this is not a common issue, but has anyone else found the equaliser refuses to adjust with the new app? It's really annoying as I rely on a bias to one speaker in a stereo pair and like loudness enabled. It simply refuses to accept any changes on my app and just reverts straight back.
