I’ve been trying to get my turntable replaced for the past day in a half and it is a disaster. I keep getting the told to call here, we don’t do that, call there, email this person--it’s so frustrating. I bought my Pro-Ject T1 SB Phono TT not even 3 weeks ago and the line out has already gone out on it, all I want to do is replace it and it’s even still under the 30 day warranty. Sonos claims that they do not replace the turntables, their partners do, so I called them, and they said they don’t replace turntables under 30 days, that’s Sonos’ job lol. WHAT IN THE WORLD?!? Hahaha. Is there any way that I can just send my faulty turntable back and get a functioning one? Literally that’s all I want. If anyone could help, it would be amazing!!
Hello I am still looking for the best way to get the sound from my television, Sky dvd player to come through my Cambridge audio CXA81 amplifier which is in a different room I have a Sonos connect amp which I used with my previous tv it was plugged in via red/white connectors and accessed through the line in function in Sonos although there was a slight delay this was easy to do & worked well.I now have a Sony Tv model KD-48A9 With hdmi E-arc I was advised to connect the Sonos to this through a Tenkak HD10 switch also through its arc setting but it does not work and just a humming noise comes out, can somebody clarify if this is the best way to acheive this and how it would all need to be connected as I am not certain, the tv and amp both also supports chrome cast which I understand may also work Any help would be greatly appreciated Barry
Hi,I just got done talking with a rep for over an hour and he decided that my speaker is defected so sonos is shipping me a replacement. Problem is, I don’t understand how my speaker is the problem? My line out on my pro-ject t1 phono sb (which I bought from you) stopped working. There is no sound coming from my turntable when it’s on ‘line-in’ on the app. The reason why I don’t think it’s the speaker is because I’ve also tried to play my turntable on other speakers and it also doesn’t work. So, I’m very confused as to why we are replacing the speaker rather than the turntable? I tried to tell this to the rep, but he insisted it was the speaker. I’d hate to have to get a new speaker, only to have the problem continue. I’m just looking maybe for a valid answer as to why the turntable wouldn’t be the issue if the line out is clearly the problem?
HiI have Sonos Amp (about 3 years old), connected to TV and two B&W Speakers with Wharfdale passive sub. Brilliant.I had a Samsung Smart TV, and HDMI-ARC audio worked well.I now have new LG CX 65” TV (2021), and have issues with ARC.No ARC Audio passes to the Sonos. I have to use “Internal Speaker” on the TV. Sonos is now only useful for music from iPhone. It is gathering dust...It once worked after a power outage, some sequence of power-on may have coincidentally worked. This was only once, till I switched the TV off. After that, I had to go back to “Internal Speaker” on the TV again.I have tried many times, all combinations of settings. Read many forums.Sonos 2 App on iPhone fails to connect the audio to the TV.I did a Diagnostics = Ref 2071482316Please could you assist? Thanks
Hi all! I’m really hoping y’all can help. I’ve been fighting issues for years now and I’m at my wit’s end.I have a pretty extensive Sonos setup and to be honest, it’s never worked right. A part of me questions why I keep buying Sonos with all the issues I have. The Issue (s)I constantly have some rooms just not show up in app. It’s not consistently the same devices and it can go in and out at any random time. Open up the app now and I have 2 showing. If I try and play something, that number may increase or it may decrease, no one can guess. About half the time Sonos will fail while adding tracks to the queue. I can try 3-4 times and probably 80% of the time it will eventually work. Other times I give up. When playing to a number of speakers, inevitably they will not start at the same time. Usually they all “click in” about 30-45 seconds into the song. From that point I may or may not have individual speakers come in and out during playback. My Sonos Setup5 Ikea bookshelf speakers Beam
Exactly the same as other discussions in here (eg), some not all of my speakers are dropping out for 5-20 seconds whenever i start a song or change it. its super frustrating and to my memory has only happened since i updated the the s2 controller (which in my experience has been inferior). Note i always play on a grouping 2 play 1s + 2 play 1s and sub (4 play 1s and sub) Submitted diag: 1327203633 Thanks
I have a Sonos 5.1 setup consisting of a beam, sonos one x2, and sub. Recently when listening to Spotify on my iPhone XS (the only controller I have active in my household), the volume on the system raises to max volume when going to change the volume in the sonos app, or from the lock screen. I have only had the system for a few weeks and it seems to only do this when Spotify is active, not Pandora or while using the TV. Currently my system is on version 10.1.2, and my iPhone controller states the version is also 10.1.2. My system is currently connected via wireless, and not through Sonosnet. I have seen in other forums that the work around is to disable hardware volume control and lock screen controls in the Sonos settings in the native iPhone settings app. But my question is, has this issue been permanently addressed yet in a sonos update/will it be in the future? Or does this have to do with possibly having a faulty system?
Hi My Sonos move configuration is not stable. I tried several times to reset and reconfigured it, but it doesn’t work at all even if I follow Sonos recommendations.please someone could help?
Hi have a couple of Sonos devices:Play:1 (S1+S2) Play:3 (S1+S2) Move (S1+S2) CONNECT (S1) BRIDGE (S1)Most of the above devices are connected via LAN (cable). All devices show up as devices in the router. After having some issues with the powerline (PLC) in my house (sporadically high ping times between several computers), I analyzed my home network and found out that if the Sonos devices are connected to LAN, the ping times appear, and vice versa … they disappear virtually completely when LAN is unplugged. As far as I understood/read, maximum LAN connectivity should be established to Sonos devices? What is recommended?
I have a Sonos One that we use outdoors. The buttons no longer work and the display lights won’t turn on. It doesn’t respond to the wake word. However, it still appears in the app and can be used to play music from smartphones. I’ve gone into the Sonos app and the display lights and buttons are enabled. I’ve tried disabling them and enabling them again but they still don’t turn on. Any thoughts? Is it possible that it’s a hardware problem?
Hi there,After the latest (very long awaited) Sonos app update, my IDAGIO app now crashes each time I try to connect it to the Sonos system (Sonos Connect). I’ve contacted IDAGIO support and they direct me to Sonos since all the inquiries came after the update. I’m using the latest version of iOS. Honestly guys, you’re not that much lucky with your app ☹️
I use android and my wife uses ios. We have a number of speakers and love them. The issue is better described by an image.I have several wireless access points spread over my house. My speakers are on a designated SSID. They work fab. On occasions I get major dropouts. I have a strong 200mbps setup. To try to improve my network I have attached the two speakers on the opposite sides of my house to a physical connection. Since then, I keep getting this issue. My wife selected music on her iPhone. If I go to change anything, music or volume I see music playing on speakers not selected on my controller. The only way I find I can resolve it is to go back to music and select another selection. Another track. It sorts itself out then. It doesn't mater what source I select. I use SONOS radio, Spotify and my Synology NAS. They all give the same result. I am considering removing the physical connection to see if that goes back to normal. I would like to configure my network for the perfect SONOS
This happens about once a week. In the Sonos app, choosing our favorite station from “Recently Played” or Sonos Radio” results in an error message and prompt to “Reauthorize Sonos Radio.” Its very annoying to have to do this every week.
I recently added a Connect so my Klipsch Sixes could play the same music with my Play:1’s. I’m using the phono outlet on the Sixes and line out on the Connect (the optical is broken). If I play the music very quietly it doesn’t sound bad, not great but not bad. As soon as I turn the volume up there is an incredible amount of distortion in the Sixes and I can’t figure out why. Any advice? I want to crank all of them at the same time.
Thsse two points may be linked or may be separate issues. I already have two devices regisfered to me which are part of my regular network,. I have just bought a third device on ebay but two problems exist first it only seems to work when connected to an ethernet cable and second i cant seem to add it to my network and when digging into the settings it shows it is controlled by the original owners emailANY THOUGHTS PLEASE?
This is my second Boost, this one has disappeared from my system. Not getting the changing colour lights when trying to re-connect, just a plain white light.Do I just order a another one, or spend endless time dealing with Sonos support over this?I am using a Sonos Port which works properly when connected directly to my router?.
I have happily enjoyed Sonos for many years but am currently experiencing a never ending series of issues with my system. Something is not right in my network. Symptoms are constantly disappearing rooms, network connection speed errors, playback skips and stops on streaming radio, Deezer (hifi), music library, etc.My system includes six players on SonosNet with a Connect to router via ethernet. Router is Netgear Orbi RB50 with two satellites. Service is gigabit with WiFi speedtests in the range of 375 mbps. WiFi is channel 1. SonosNET channel 11. I have rebooted the system and brought devices back one at a time to try to get things stable. Changed channels. But nothing has worked. Please help. Diagnostic 789026404
I have been trying to figure out the sonos api over the past few days, but unfortuanetly have hit a road block. I have already gotten my tokens and room names and and favorites Id, but when I send the curl request to play a song I get the error described above.Curl Code : curl -X POST -H "Content-Type: application/json" -H "Authorization: Bearer {TOKEN}" "https://api.ws.sonos.com/control/api/v1/groups/RINCON_48A6B88A5B14014XX:XXXXXXXXXX/favorites" --data @play.jsonI keep the body in a .json file called play which contains the code:{ "favoriteId":2, "playOnCompletion":true }I have not been able to find any documentation on this issue online, so any and all help is very appreciated.
for the last few days, anytime I try to play any song from Spotify in my Sonos speaker, I get the error “unable to play {song title} - the connection to Spotify was lost”. I have seen other posts about this error message, but they seem to mostly either be attributed to a local network issue or a temporary outrage. I am fairly confident that this is not attributable to a local network issue, because the problem is consistent on Spotify but does not happen for other streaming services. It also does not seem to be a temporary outage since this has been going on for several days now.The issue is isolated to one of the two speakers in my Sonos system. What else could cause this? I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting the Shopify account to no avail, and don’t know what to try next.
Voice Services not working suddenly. Neither Alexa or Google assistant can connect to Sonos Ones. GA says “can’t connect” and Alexa show the speakers offline. I have tried absolutely EVERY troubleshooting step without success. Of course, Sonos support unavailable till Tuesday. Any thing I might be missing? Also…no microphone light on.
Sonos won't stop playing music from my phone- even when I turn off my phone and unplug my WiFi router. No streaming services connected. I can pause via speaker button but can't control via app. Any idea why the Sonos controller app doesn't control Sonos?
I have one Sonos in my bedroom, and can only connect to it when in the same room physically. Even if I start it when I'm on the room, when I leave it disconnects. Any suggestions?
I have only two components, a Sonos Boost directly connected to my router and a Sonos Port connected by Wi-Fi from the Boost in my listening Room. This arrangement has previously worked together well, but now the Boost has disappeared and I can only get the Sonos Port working again by moving it and connecting directly to my router.Any tips for a solution would be appreciated?
When Sonos was launched, it worked very easily. Plug in and play! Now it is a single mess that you have to replace both the one and the other to make things work well. It stops and chops - NO this is not getting better and better but worse and worse - time to find something new ?? Or is it just me who experiences it that way?
Hello All,My Sonos app 13.1 on Android 11 phone is failing to find my Sonos Arc which is connected via Ethernet cable and my Sonos Move connected via WiFi. Both devices are replying to pings and I am still able to select each speaker to play to from all my streaming applications. But as the Sonos app is not finding the speakers I am unable to group them together.I have tried resetting the application settings and now am unable to “join existing system” and when I try to sign into my account it fails stating it can’t find my Sonos system. I have not made any network changes and have turned off the 5GHz band as I read this could cause issues switching between frequencies. Now when I try to log back into the application it states “Network Problem” and to check my internet connection and check the time on my device to ensure they are correct. And a full reboot of my router and speakers has been completed multiple times. Any more suggestions would be appreciated. CheersKip
