All of a sudden my connect amp started shining bright red out of the play/pause button when muted. How do I disable it? I can already tell that it is muted with my ears. I don't want to watch an annoying red light in my living room. 

Hi! I have the latest Sonos 5, a Move, two Roams and the Sub. My question is if I want to plug a turntable in via Aux socket into the 5, will it only play on the 5 or will it play on all speakers? 

Hi allI just got my new sonos amp connected to my in wall speakers, and I’m having trouble getting a connection from my TV.   I have it set up on my Samsung Frame 2019 via sonos optical adapter (eARC not supported with this TV model).  I have gotten confirmation from the sonos amp that my TV is setup and heard a confirmation sound that the sonos amp is connected to TV.  However, when I play the TV, I have no sound coming from it.  I installed Netflix directly on the tv not through Apple TV to test outside of Apple TV, and no sound from sonos. To be clear, the speakers works and I stream audio from my phone to them successfully.The Apple TV is connected to HDMI 1 and sonos amp on optical input.Any ideas why I'm not hearing anything from my sonos amp connected to my TV?Thanks for your help!  Looking forward to having this working.

Sonos recently announced 24bit audio output for Amazon Music on some devices…Does the Connect (The one compatible with S2) can output 24bit audio through optical ?Any idea ? Thanks, Denis 

Hello all,I’m probably over looking something but I could use some help. I’m trying to get the line-in (touch tunes jukebox) to turn off after the song ends automatically and switch back to the original music source “apple music”The way it’s working currently is, apple music will play as usual. Then if I go to my touch tunes jukebox to play a song, the song will turn on (in the s1 app, it changes to Receiver:Room 1) (source level is set to 1 - I was having trouble getting it to switch to line in at level 2 (A/V))The problem is after the song from the jukebox stops playing it never switches back, instead it stays set to the Line-In(Receiver:Room1) unless I manually switch source back to apple music.I’m trying to figure out what’s going on. My initial thoughts are either, the system thinks the song is still playing because the source level threshold is set low. Or it’s dropping the apple music connection and isn’t able to switch back.Thanks in advanc

I have an AMP connected to a zone (dining room) and a PORT connected to my DENON AVR-X3700H receiver that I use on the optical CD input.  When I use my 2 zones simultaneously (PORT  with DENON AVR + AMP), the sound of the DENON comes out a few milliseconds later.  I had a KENWOOD amp until a few days ago and I never had this problem.  Has anyone had this problem? Can I adjust this parameter in SONOS? I don't see how to do it in DENON 

My Connect:Amp was no longer connecting to the app.  So, after proceeding through several troubleshooting steps, Sonos guided me to perform a factory reset on the device.  When I did, the Connect:Amp came back up flashing the white LED and then went to flashing red Play/Pause. Note that on the Connect:Amp, there is both an LED and a Play/Pause that flash.  They are separate lights.

I have Sonos Connect connected to Sherbourn amp that powers about 14 speakers in my house.  Normally when I start music in Sonos app and stream music Sherbourn amp turns on music starts.  This morning I turn on music in app, it shows bars indicating music but I don’t get music.  The Sherbourn amp doesn’t automatically kick on.  I tried turn amp on manually, nothing.  Any thoughts?

I just installed a Sonos surround sound system for my TV HDMI ARC output -- Beam, Sub, two One SL’s, all brand new, latest generations.  The TV puts out the HDMI ARC signal from several sources (cable box, Roku Ultra, Blu-ray player), all fed to it through an HDMI switch.  It all works perfectly.I want to add Bluetooth headphones for use when the speakers are otherwise silenced.  If I install a Port, and feed the audio out to a Bluetooth transmitter, will the signal persist if the speakers are muted?  Or is some other solution possible?  If not, perhaps Port is not the answer, and then, what is?The TV has optical out but works only when the signal is from the cable box.  I’ve researched this with Aluratek, the maker of Bluetooth transmitter/receivers, and determined with them that this, while unfortunate, is expected.  And the TV has no aux out.Thank you.

I have just noticed the red LED above the white status LED comes on when volume is off. It goes off when volume is turned up. Why has it started and can I turn the LED off (I know I can turn the status LED off but it's above that)? Thanks.

Hi,I have a Sonos Amp currently running 2 outdoor Sonance speakers. I understand the Amp can run 2 pairs of Sonance speakers wired in parallel.My Amp is right in the centre of the house and it is a very tortuous route to outside, also our house is 300+ years old and the walls are enormously thick. I managed to get the cable for the current Sonance speakers through the house when we had floors up and through the wall using a redundant Virgin media hole which had been drilled previously by an engineer.To add a second set of Sonance outdoor speakers, I don’t really want to have to take up floors and try to drill through the wall (it’s close to 1m thick in places). There are a lot of people with questions regarding Sono Port sound quality, and the topics always seem to be closed.  I just acquired a Sonos Port because I was excited about adding that capability to my HiFi setup. I was excited about the functionality, and the Port accomplishes the connected and streaming tasks just fine, love the automatic input selection for the Aux input.But the sound: It’s flat, lacks detail, it even sounds like there is an arbitrary roll-off on high and low frequencies.  The imaging is horrible. Music sound “canned” and “lifeless”. For those just using background music while they have a dinner party, you wouldn’t notice. But if you intend to just sit back with a glass of wine and listen to music on purpose, the sound is sorely lacking.I’m using “good” quality components: vintage Marantz Receiver (restored) and relatively new BW Speakers. I’m not trying compare Spotify to listening to vinyl (which sounds great on my system), but I expected the Po

Hi, I think it would be great to add the same HDMI ARC input to the SONOS PORT as the SONOS AMP have today so PORT can be seemlessly integrated to a TV set in the same way as Sonos AMP can but then use an amplifier and spreakers of choice. This would be a great upgrade in my eyes. Thanks /Fredrik

Hi I will get a Sonos Port for Xmas in order to integrate my analogue sound system based on Martantz PM8005, B&W 601, Turntable with Sonos world.Turntable is played only via Marantz and will only goes to B&W without entering digital world.Digital sources are the TV Philips ambilight that via optical fibre and a DAC goes in one of Maratnz RCA input, and Spotify either via TV or via Sonos App.I need to keep the TV via optical fibre to DAC and Marantz because when watching TV this is the way to have the audioWhat I would like to implement is either when I stream from TV or from SONOS app the source goes in the Marantz and in parallel wireless from the Port to Sonos One SL avoiding delay. First question is there a possibility in SONOS App to tune the delay to avoid echo effect between analog world (Martantz) and digital world (Sonos)What could you  suggest as connection layout ? 

Hey everyone.  I am brand spanking new to using any Sonia components at all.  My father has his entire home, including a hifi Klipsch based HT set up with a connect and THREE outdoor zones (maybe 9 zones total. He’s AALLLLL in!) connected so I am not new to using Sonos.  Well, I’ve finally relented on my passion for only using wired hi-fi set ups exclusively.   I would now like to use a Connect gen 2 that i will be buying from an eBay seller to save a bit since I’m also buying 2-3 Sonos Ones.  MY QUESTION IS:  Does a Connect gen 2 work with Sonos’s most current app/ecosystem??Will it work with the S2 app??

Hi there! I have multiple Sonos amps in my house, one of which is connected to a TV via HDMI arc. I often play audio via Airplay 2 across the whole house, but then when someone turns on the TV in the living room it auto disconnects Airplay in the rest of the house. How can I keep the Music playing and Airplay connected in the rest of the house when someone turns on the TV? 

Hi can you pair a turntable to 2 sonos 5’s ?, I know you have to wire 1 in , but will it then play on both speakers????

If i hook up the port to my reciever and wired system will i also be able to use the arc and the sub to play music?  Essentially I’d like all speakers to fire as I stream to the port. Two front wired and two back wired along with ARC and Sub. Can that be done?
