I have a Project Carbon EVO turntable connected to a pair of Sonos Fives, a pair of ones and a Beam plus a Sub but there is a slight static hissing sound very faint but audible, the turntable is connected to a Project phono box S2 and I’ve taken all the connections out then reconnected it twice, I thought it may have been a grounding issue but it’s not.

any thoughts how to fix?

What happens when you power the preamp off? If the hiss stops then the problem is with the preamp or the turntable itself. In that case there could be crosstalk from other devices nearby.
