Any plans on making the sub mini compatible with Move 2 speakers? I have a soundbar in my bedroom, but want to use the sub mini in my backyard bbq parties paired to my Move 2, or in the liivingroom where the Move 2 sits most of the time.I’ve read that is not compatible because Move is designed to move around, but not so sure about that.Can you track how much time a Sonos Move 1 or 2 is playing when its plugged in, meaning not moving? My bet is that Move is standing still in its charger 95% of time regardless of the region, music and lifestyle

After a few settings in my router, I now have a much better experience with the Sonos App. Playing music and adjusting the volume is done almost without delays and the App opens/loads significantly faster.I'll try to make it short :)I have a Wifi 6 router that provides a very strong and stable wifi network, so I should therefore get a fairly high speed on the products that support Wifi 6. I discovered that my Arc Ultra was on 2.4Ghz even though it supports 5Ghz on Wifi 6.I turned off my Sub and 2xEra300 so that only Ultra was on, restarted my Ultra and saw that it was connected to 5Ghz. After that I went into my router where I initially discovered that it was not set to the highest Mhz on the 2.4 & 5Ghz network. Switched to the highest Mhz, and I locked the iP Ultra was connected to.Turned off Ultra and restarted my router and Ultra, could see that Ultra connected to the locked IP and on 5Ghz. I moved a couple of months ago. I haven’t been able to setup my Sonos speakers after the move. I reset all Sonos One and Sonos SL speakers to factory settings to start with a clean slate as just plugging them in didn’t work. Problem I get now, is that I can’t connect them to my Wifi to complete the setup. One time I got the “error 1,000” error. One time a speaker connected, indicated that it first needed to update it’s software (firmware/?) in order to work → but updating that software couldn’t be completed. I tried connecting them with an ethernet cableI reset the routerI removed and downloaded the sonos app on my iphoneNothing seems to work. Any tips? 

Yesterday I upgraded my playbase to an Arc, having connected everything, it was all up and running fine last night. This morning, I had no sound coming from the TV (HDMI 1), also I had no sound when I switched to the PS5 (HDMI 2). The ARC is connected to (HDMI 3 eARC), and I have a Himedia Q10 pro conected to (HDMI 4), these are the only HDMI ports available.When I played a movie through my media player I had sound, then when I went back to the TV and PS5 I also have sound. But once I have turned everything off for a short while and come back to it, it’s happens again, no sound to both the TV and PS.I have changed the ports around, disconnected everything, unplugged and replugged everything. The only time it works is when the HDMI cable to the media player is disconnected, even if I remove the power connector there is still the issue.Anyone have any idea how to fix this? thanks.

I want to connect my play1 to my s1 system.  I DO NOT want to upgrade but it prompts me every time.  When I hit not now, nothing happens.How to fix this? thx

So the following note has been added to the SONOS support topic Use a NAS drive with Sonos. Sonos app version 80.0This setting is not currently available in the Sonos app for iOS or Android, but it will return in a future update.They are forcing the update, and there's no Music Library option in the system menu anymore. This is very frustrating. Very sloppy software development. Is complaining to support my only option to get this enabled again? 

In addition to my 2 Sonos One, Arc and Beam, I recently got myself a Sonos Sub. When setting it up, there were of course problems with the new Sonos app, which according to a news article should have been fixed a day later. Unfortunately, I can't provide any specific version information as the speakers don't appear in the new Sonos app. It was also no longer possible to set them up in S2.In the past, while my system was running without a sub, I supplied my speakers with audio signals via pulseaudio-dlna, but due to an update this was no longer possible. I then spent years trying to find a solution to the problem and eventually came across shairport-sync and ended up playing my Sonos speakers via the AirPlay protocol.Now my Arc had to update due to the Sonos Sub integration, so far no problem. Meanwhile, my Beam also received an unsolicited update. Since this update, I have had constant dropouts on the Sonos Beam when they are played with Shairport-sync.I would now like to ask for the p

Hi - I have a simple Play 3 Speaker that was working just fine until the recent updates of Sonos APPI just have no better words but saying it works when it wants!!On a good day, I can use the app to switch on the device, select and reproduce what I want from Spotify Premium … after a while it keeps running with the app not seeing the system any longer … then they reconnect and so on …On a bad day, to listen to music I must ask my wife to sing me something !!I just spent an hour with a nice lady trying to help me: she made uninstall and reinstall the app; all worked fine ten minutes and then same story.Called the support number; was told I had 10 minutes wait time … been on for an hour now and losing hope.Not great experience, sorry to say!Have a good weekend

I could be wrong on this but maybe someone on this list can answer it. You will need to know some basic info on my SONOS system so I posted below..I mostly use my personal music library that is located on a solid state drive via my ethernet wifi connected network. I have a Apple Ethernet-wi-fi router that has an USB input on it. My SS drive with over 39,000 tracks on it (also my Apple itunes AKA Music drive) is connected to that same router. My SONOS components grab my music from that SS drive. With this upcoming software update it sounds like I (anyone with a similar hook up) will lose access to their connected drives??? I will lose of all my own paid for music on that drive. So one questions since I’m not quite a computer nut is… Is the way I have my SS drive connected to the router via USB considered a NAS drive?? Will I lose access to that drive if I do the update? 

Since my NAS device with SMB v1 only no longer works with Sonos I have to purchase a new NAS device. How do I know if a particular NAS has SMB v2 or higher? I’m not seeing this listed in the specs and don’t want to accidentally purchase a NAS that only has SMB v1. Does anyone know?

Hi I have just updated to the new app. I have a Nas drive on my network i want to add to my sonos system. I cannot find a menu to allow me to add the details of the NAS drive to add the music library. Help

I have a hidden network at the Clients Property and all fixed devices, Ipads, Apple TV’s, Printers, Tv’s, Chromecast, Bose Speakers etc and are all authorise by the Mac Address added to the systemI connected to a network with a different SSID and Password so I could get it’s mac address as there is nothing on the Unit. Once setup I then added the MAC to the system and factory reset the Move 2Went through the setup and it connected, but after that it never connects again and not seen on the ipad it was setup up with and on the same hidden networkAny ideas? Is it because it hidden? Works on any other device added over the last 2 years fineThanksGraham

I have a sonos system and recently changed to Starlink (router does not have ethernet port).  I had it working fine but after being away had to change the password on starlink wifi and now move won’t connect to starlink at all. I have tried what sonos advises and it finds the move, gets it ready, finds the starlink network, I put the password in and then at the last hurdle when it is connecting (it says verifying network info for starlink) it says “something went wrong - we ran into a problem connecting your product to Starlink. Please try again”I have tried again countless times but no luck. The password on my phone with the sonos app and the password entered when connecting the move are the same.  I have other sonos products which are powered off at the moment (3 x play 5 Gen 1 and 1 x Play 1).Initially I had to get sonos support to connect me and it was a rather complicated process but they got it all working (despite saying Sonos does not support starlink).  But now call wait times

This new app is a nightmare!! For first couple of weeks I wasn’t able to search for music, that I had to do on my wife’s phone!Now:1. it seems that Sonos have removed the functionality to save music to playlists? Now you are only able to save to “Sonos favorites” sucks big time! Please fix.2. On a room playlist you can’t remove titles individually. So if you add something you don’t like you need to start from scratch. why change something that works??? It’s getting more and more annoying this company.

I have multiple pre-programmed alarms depending on the day, but since the new application it is now impossible to see which radio station is programmed at a glance. It simply says "station live". Which is of no use to the user!!! ☹️

 Sending Sonos output to an AVR is easy. What is next to impossible is the other direction!I used a Denon X1800H purchased in March 2024 which has Main Zone pre-outs and ZONE 2 Pre outs. Their capabilities differ markedly. Other builds of this exact Denon model do not come with pre outs. Odd but no mattter. Try Crutchfield. This solution will probably work for other Denon AVRs that have Pre outs for ZONE 2 –possibly other AVRS with slight changes as well. And it works for both digital and analog sources into the avr.Like many of us I wanted to free up the main zone/room’s audio to be heard over my SONOS system so I could play turntable, CDs or live stream concerts from the computer or TV to hear throughout the house, garage etc. Denon however, like so many other AVR brands, make this really difficult. It feels intentional for they expect you to buy Heos speakers --but we already have Sonos!After a month of research and experimentation, including working with Crutchfield, Sonos and Deno

Does anyone know if today’s update fixes the bug of the latest update that does not allow Ports to be connected to your system?
