Any plans on making the sub mini compatible with Move 2 speakers? I have a soundbar in my bedroom, but want to use the sub mini in my backyard bbq parties paired to my Move 2, or in the liivingroom where the Move 2 sits most of the time.

I’ve read that is not compatible because Move is designed to move around, but not so sure about that.

Can you track how much time a Sonos Move 1 or 2 is playing when its plugged in, meaning not moving? My bet is that Move is standing still in its charger 95% of time regardless of the region, music and lifestyle

Hi @ferdelat, welcome back to the Sonos Community!

What you’ve read is correct; since the Move ‘moves’ around and due to the way the Sonos Sub connects to other devices, it could cause issues where the Sub drops out or disconnects from the Move if you take it too far from the Sub.

While we don’t have any plans regarding this, I can mark this thread as a feature request to be forwarded to the relevant teams.

I hope this information helps.

I know you have to consider many scenarios, but wouldn’t be easy to make subwoofer off when Move is out of tis base?

And let it pair to Sub when its plugged in.

Just saying.
