Hi there.Hope you can help with the question below.Situation: I’m thinking to buy the Sonos Arc. I am thinking to use it in the following structure: Connect my Apple TV 4K to my project BenQ projector via an HDMI cable for video output, and stream the audio via Airplay2 to the Sonos Arc. (Note: My projector does not have an earc, so am hoping the Airplay2 will suffice for audio output) Questions: (1) Will this above set-up work and, if so, will there be any audio lag/discrepancy with the visual?(2) How big a difference will the sound quality be in using AirPlay2 for audio output rather than HDMI earc. I read that Dolby Atmos only works with the cable through the arc.

Will my gen 3 sub woofer connect with the play 1's and gen 1 soundbar?

Hello All,  I have moved into my new home - Im a total newbie with this stuff - and curious on the best way to setup the home : ~4500 sqFthe house is prewired and has ceiling speakers in the following areas:KitchenLiving Room/ TV room outside patio dining room master bedroom master bath loft  I have :1 sonos Amp sonos soundbar ( older )  + sub ( currently in Living Room/TV room - may move to a guest room ) A/V closet has a speaker selector piece of hardware   goals: to have each room above as its own channel, and to be able to easily login to sonos app and select room and music etc :to be able  to play apple music / music off phone etc in each desired location in master bedroom and living room , to be able to play TV through the speakers ( both rooms are setup as 5 speaker system with 2 rear speakers , 2 front speakers, and a center channel )   looking for some guidance on whee and how to begin !!

I have an old Onkyo receiver that is fine for radio and manages 4 wired speakers.  I want to add streaming abilities and likely a new CD player and some other wireless speakers.  The Onkyo has analog input/outputs for different devices.  I am looking at the AMP Port to start.  How would it be connected to the Onkyo?  I recently tried to add bluetooth to this receiver and couldn’t get any ports to work.

Can the Sonos Boost connect to the Play 5 (Gen 1) and the Play 3?

Hi guys, so i want to buy an Sonos Arc primarily for the Atmos abilites. Thing is i’m from Argentina and since i’m only not gonna have warranty or the chance of returning it i want to know your experience with it.Does it work normally? Is everything okey or there are some compatibility issues with them? Any flaws i need to be awere of before buying?Thanks

Hi all! I’m thinking about going with a Sonos based design for a home theater setup in one of my rooms.  I’d love some advice/thoughts on what I’m thinking.  I’m going to get an 85” 4K tv prob a Samsung.  I was thinking of going with a Sonos Arc soundbar, a Sonos Sub, then a Sonos amp to power 2 in ceiling speakers to provide the rear left and right.   Any thoughts on how this would work, or alternative recommendations? thanks!  

I have an older Connect Amp for my Patio speakers and a Connect for my living room speakers. I would like to upgrade but not sure what to get, can someone help? Thanks in advance  

I have a new Samsung 65 in OLED tv. I have linked it to my existing surround sound system with 5 speakers a sub woofer and a 7 year old pioneer amp. I’m using ARC to route the sound through the amp to my system. I am having problems in the following areas :--powering the system on without having to use 3 separate controls-the pioneer software is dated and doesnt allow the full quality of picture.-the sound isnt everything I’d hoped forIf I replaced the amp with a new Sonos amp would it solve my issues?

Just bought a house which has the following:  In the family room, 4 wired infinity ceiling speakers and an in floor subwoofer. Outdoors:  2 in ceiling infinity speakers on porch. wiring:  all speaker wires run to family room cabinet under the TV. The subwoofer wires are currently connected to a Polk SWA500 amp in the same cabinet under TV, which was left in the home.  The speaker wires are not connected to anything (I do not have a receiver yet).  My goals:  setup 5.1 surround sound for TV.  Add wireless sonos speakers to kitchen and dining room. Create multiple zones for music at least in terms of volume (I don’t need to play one song in dining room and another outside, I just want to be able to turn outside off or at reduced volume versus dining room but they can play same thing). Zones:  family room (wired), outdoors (wired), kitchen (wireless), dining room (wireless).  what is the best way to accomplish this?  Can’t figure out if I should get the sonos amp, the port, a home theater

I am looking at what is Sonos best setup for the following:Outdoor use have 2 tv’s outside want to support 4 outdoor speakers the tv’s will be 26ft across from each other Do not want any latency if both tvs are playing the same game, need all 4 speakers to be playing the same audio want to be able to play one tv with one game and have 2 speakers support it and another tv playing a movie with two speakers to support itCan Sonos products support it?  If so, what do I need to buy? thanks

Hi,I’m looking for a bit of help and advice. I am looking to buy a Sonos home theatre system, preferably with the arc or beam as the sound bar, Sonos One (2off) and Sub. I want to be able to connect this to a projector (not currently bought but thinking of an Epson EH-TW650).  I was wondering what would be the best way to do this? Is there a Sonos product I could use to connect these? Or will I need an HDMI matrix switch?P.S. I would also be looking to connect a PS5 and Virgin Media box in this set up. All help appreciated.Cheers,Gary 

Moving into a new home and want to integrate all my speakers and electronics. Could really use some help determining what components I may need to purchase and how the wiring should be set up. Luckily there is already a rack in the basement so I can centralize a lot of the equipment. I’ve got a question regarding the new eARC feature on the Sonos Arc & a new eARC compatible TV. With these two components it is my understanding that I should be able to achieve Dolby Atmos playback. My main question involves my set up. I’m building a new house now and am in the planning stages of my AV set-up. Can someone please confirm or correct my thoughts here. I’m going to have a eARC compatible TV in my living room with a Sonos Arc connected to it below. I will connect the Sonos ARC to the TV via a eARC compatible HDMI 2.1 cable for my audio. The TV will then be connected to a HDMI splitter in another room; the splitter will be connected to the cable box. The splitter is so I can get the same picture on multiple TV’s in different rooms that I’m not going to be trying to utilize eARC or Dolby Atmos. Hi all.Been having Sonos since 07..now looking to use some trade ups.Can someone at Sonos tell me WHEN the Arc-bundles are actually going to be available. I'm talking about the Arc, sub and SL's.It keeps being pushed again and again.Is it on purpose to make us "crack" and give in to buying one item at a time?…It's getting ridiculous by now, and I'm sure it's not a surprise to Sonos each time the dates get pushed back. Looking forward to a serious answer. 

Hi Sonos Community! I currently have a 5.1 set up consisting of 2x play 1s as the rear speakers, a sub and a beam. We are in the process of building a new house and planning to make use of some in ceiling Sonos speakers in the other rooms.  Do I need to connect my TV set up to an amp or will this connect via the app? My proposed set up is;Lounge - 5.1 as before - 2x play 1s as rear, sub and beam with the addition of 2x in ceiling speakers - will this work?Then in the Kitchen and family room another 4x in ceiling speakers.Many thanks in advance :)

Hi,I am considering purchasing the new Sonos AMP, and I have several questions that I would like to ask. 1. I've read that the new Sonos AMP are able to handle 4 speakers simultaneously, and here's the configuration that I'm thinking to have: 2. Is it possible to have all three zones play different songs with different volume?3. When we are using Spotify, do we need different Spotify users for each zone?4. Is there anything else that I should be aware of? Or pay attention to, before committing enough budget to purchase all these? Or any other suggestions with similar results? Thanks!

I have a couple of Play 5 (v1) and some newer play 1’s and a bridge.  I am proposing to replace the bridge with a new boost.  Will the Play 5 v1 work with the new boost?

Hi, my new Sonos beam arrived and very disappointed with the sound. I’ve done a comparison against my LG OLED 55 CX5LB and the internal tv speakers are better than the soundbar. Not what I was expecting. If I add two surround sound speakers will this help, have seen the ones from ikea as a cheaper option to consider. If anyone has any advice then let me know. I’ve done the true sound and got loudness on. The room size is medium sized.  ThanksAdam

Quick Question-I recently purchased a new house which has 8 in-ceiling speakers connected to a 2 channel stereo receiver. I am planning on buying a port to connect to the receiver, so that I can add these in-ceiling speakers to my sonos ecosphere. I already own a sonos beam, sub, (2) play 1s, and a move that I have been using in my previous home. I read that it isn’t possible to “attach” the sub to the port (or the in ceiling speakers). My question is this: If I attach the sub to the beam as I have in the past, and then pair the beam/sub to the port so they all play the same thing in unison? Thanks, Ben

Hi all,I am a relatively new Sonos owner (currently have two One SL’s in my office that are wonderful) and I am looking to add some Sonos to my living room. I live in a two bedroom apartment, so the living room is approximately 13 feet by 11 feet (~200 square feet). I am considering either a Beam with a Sub or a 2.1 system driven by a Sonos Amp. I am looking to spend around $1K on this, so I could either get the Beam and Sub or an Amp with approx. $350 to spend between a small powered sub and bookshelf speakers. In either case, I will probably add two One’s as surrounds, but I am excluding that from my consideration for the time being.  What do you all recommend for a space such as this? I am leaning toward the Amp since I can always add some better speakers when we buy a house and I have a more permanent system, but I could also re-purpose the Beam for a smaller room and buy an Amp down the line. 

Hi Guys. I am new to Sonos and am contemplating buying the Arc.I have two questions:1. When I connect my tv, via arc to a yamaha receiver, it states dolby digital+ when I watch Netflix. Am I correct in think this means I will get dolby digital+ on the Sonos Arc, via arc, if I buy one? My tv does not have earc.2. I would like to know if I can play mp3 files, from my android phone or PC, through the Sonos Arc. If so, how is it done?Please can someone help me as I would like to know these answers before I part with the cash?For anyone who is interested, I am aware my current 5.1 system is probably better but I am looking for a minimal system. I do not have a large movie collection so the lack of Dts support is not an issue.Reviews suggest this is a good option for a stand alone soundbar.Thanks.

Hi guys.I was searching around but never found appropriate answers, I guess everyone’s desired setup is different.I want to connect my turntable and my projector to SONOS system. I would like to avoid any kind of splitter and would like the setup to be in stereo. I am now thinking about buying two Sonos Fives and use one input for projector and one input for turntable. It should work given that I can switch between wired input and wireless input and in home setup between inputs from different speakers, as I understand it. But I am not sure… So, couple of questions.Can I switch between analog inputs?  Will the sound from these two Fives be in stereo for both analog inputs? Can I send sound from these analog inputs (ie. from one of the Fives) to additional speakers in my home setup? Can I send it to Apple homepod? Can I send music from Apple homepod to these stereo Fives and will it play in stereo? Even subjective response is good for me - would you prefer this kind of setup or is it bet
