Hi

I have just traded in my old Play:5 speaker, to get 30% off my Sonos Arc buy. As I understood it, I then had to recycle the old speaker.

However, after an email I got from SONOS regarding the trade in program, they asked we what I would do with the old speaker, namely if I would hand it in to a SONOS store, recycle it, sell it or keep it. Have I completely misunderstood, can I actually keep my play:5 that I have traded in to get 30% off a new buy?

Yes you can keep it. When the plan was originally rolled out (pre-Covid) the devices were bricked, but that was a dumb plan which quickly got fixed.
