I cannot get to my music library using the new Sonos app (on iPhone)
Where is the sleep timer on the new app. I use it regularly.
Hi everyone,I've got a Samsung S95b TV, Sonos Beam gen 2 and Eras300 and a Neflix premium account. Why are specific spatial audio movies not showing the spatial audio sign on my TV? I can see it on my Samsung Tab s8 ultra, but not on the TV. What am I missing? Sonos System Info shows audio in: Dolby Multichannel PCM 2.0 for my beam gen 2. Is this how it supposed to be to get spatial surround audio on my eras 300?
Will the Era100’s produce more highs than the One SL’s and be noticeably different?
how is this company leaglly in business? after 5 hours with support i still cant use any of sonos products. support just tells you to keep resetting and trying to add speakers after knowing it hasnt worked te 10 times before. they then try to blame my isp, even though ebery single oher product on the planet worls fine EXCEPT sonos and they have no resolutions. after talking to more agents on the phone the resolution they gave me?? try ressting it and re installing or borrow someones else device to set up speakersbe beacuse my s23 ultra wont work or my ipad or laptop. i cant wait to join a class action against this scam of a company
Good afternoon (its 16,45 pm here in Italy) , we have a B&B in a countryside area with a sea view where in the shared living room there are installed 2 Ikea Symphonisk Frames, I paired them on stereo L and R mode, using that with Apple Music , scheduling the music (with Sonos app alert) is really nice and all guest appreciate a lot , listening mostly famous cover in a jazzed mood with a 13% volume, so very soft music ..actually we have a large covered terrace about 28 mq (7mt x 4mt) (no windows just opened covered terrace) next to the shared living room (between living room and terrace there are large windows that we keep usually close so you can't ear music when u are in terrace) and I wanted to spread the same music and same scheduling in the terrace installing an Era 100 , do you think it is will be fine and the sound? will be decent? I will install the Speaker in the center of the terrace put on the wall so people will ear it from back. And as last only humidity and
When I connect my phone to my sonos roam via bluetooth, I initially don’t get any music from the speaker, although music is playing on the phone. Also when I hit the Play button on the Roam, I can’t pause the music. I still get the “connection successful” sound by the roam and my phone also shows that I am connected. This only happens, when the bluetooth volume is below a certain level (about 2/3 max level). What helps is turning the bluetooth volume to maximum after connecting and once I hear the music turn it back down. At this point I can also control the music with the buttons on the roam such as pause or next song. Is there a certain input thrshold, before the roam acknowledges the connection, and if yes, can I lower it? I use my roam a lot to listen to quiet music in the middle of the night, and it is a real pain to always have to max the volume for a successful connection.
I know that the “associated product” is the first speaker that responds when starting a controller. I’m simply expressing some frustration at how rudimentary that process is and how annoying it can be when you have a lot of Sonos products that you’ve accumulated for about a decade. I have a mix of about a dozen speakers, with my oldest being ten year old Play:1s and my newest being an Arc. I notice that my Sonos controllers (both desktop and Android) are much, much more responsive when the associated product is the Arc or the newer Five. However, my controllers seem to have a knack for finding one of the older Play:1s. The phone and desktop controllers consistently find the oldest speakers in my system when starting up and they’ll be sluggish and the queue is harder to manage. When the associated product is one of the speakers I’ve added within the last couple years, the controller is much more responsive. It’s a stark contrast.Like I said, I know how the associated product select
I have a set of play:1’s sitting on Sanus stands as part of my Sonos home theater system. One of them has been acting up and not working, so I need to replace it. I was thinking of just getting a new set of era 100s, but I’m not sure they will work with the existing stand. What current offerings work with that stand? https://www.sonos.com/en-us/shop/sanus-floor-stand-pair-play1-play3-one
Hi! First post here. Live in Norway, but I guess the details are the same all over. I currently own a Boost, Sub gen 2, Arc, 4 Sonos One and one Play: 3.I’m thinking of replacing the Sonos One we have on the kitchen counter with a Move (gen 1) so I can remove the wire that makes a clutter, and be able to take it outside on the roof terrace.I know that the Move can be charged through the docking station or via USB-C, but what I would like to know is if the wire connected to the docking station can be removed when it’s not used. I know that the adapter itself can be removed from the wire, but my question is if the wire is permanently conneted to the docking station or not. I was hoping that the Move can be places on the docking station permanently on the kitchen counter, but don’t want the wire to be attached to the station, unless I’m using it. The alternative is to keep the docking station somewhere else, and just charge via USB-C.
What is best way to get started with a turntable to play my old vinyl collection.would like to be able to connect to all my Sonos speakers if possible.Have 3 Play Ones in separate rooms, a sound bar, sub and 2 play ones in living room, and a Move & Roam.do I require my thing extra to connect a Project T1 to the system?
I was trying to add a Sonos Boost which had become disconnected from my system. I reset the boost numerous times following the proper procedures. Searching on the web, I found several references to simply “Add a Boost.” But what no one clarified is that this option doesn’t automatically appear. The Sonos Boost must first be correctly connected to the router, in my case a router extender, Orbi. The Sonos app on my iPhone only displayed the “Add a Boost” box option from Settings...System… “once” I connected the Sonos Boost directly to the router extender hardware that provides a WiFi mesh. Connecting the Sonos Boost directly to the main router apparently was an incorrect configuration. If you’re not seeing the option, try checking your connection to the router.
Hi, I have a Panasonic 50HX800 used for streaming video and music from Apple TV 4K (Netflix with subtitles, Spotify, podcasts, my own music on a server). My budget is limited. The TV sounds better than expected with speech (film dialogue, podcasts), which is the most important for me (I study languages), while music is not great (tolerable, for a while). My options:invest in a used Beam gen 1. now (currently around 130€/$) wait/save and invest in a used Beam gen. 2 (330 €) wait/save and invest in a used Sub Mini (alas, 350 €) start with a less-expensive sub a combination of the above.Panasonic has a headphone-out that doubles as a subwoofer-out (which I understand requires an active sub, but I’m not sure if a Sub Mini alone can be an option).I would needsuggestions for a setup that would improve my audio in a foreseeable future clarification: is there a risk of experiencing out-of-synch audio and video/subtitles? (it would be the worst scenario if it happens and cannot be fixed)I am a n
Hello. I have been using a single Era 300 to listen to music but have recently purchased a Sub Mini and Beam gen 2. My thinking was I could connect the sub to the Era 300 when listening to music and to the Beam when watching TV. This doesn't seem to be possible, though. The sub connects to ether the Era or Beam and can't be easily swapped. Does anyone have a solution, or any thoughts on how best to use this combination? Thank you in advance!
So with my system, I have an ARC, Sub and 2 One SLs. Has anyone upgraded the ONE SLs to the Era 300s? Is it worth it and does it make the whole experience better? Can’t find any YouTube videos by anyone comparing the 2 sets of speakers side by side.
How can I show recently added songs in a Spotify playlist that I created within the Sonos app?
Need help in selecting amp, 6 speakers for my outdoor patio (4 indoor and 2 outdoor), I need 3 zones so I can control music in speakers. so basically I have 3 separate section. Lets call it Room 1- IndoorRoom 2 - OutdoorRoom 3 - outdoorEach room will have 2 speakers but I need centralize place to control speaker and can I create zones so I can only run speaker in room I want?Any help would be great.
I have a stereo pair of wall-mounted Play:3 speakers in the corners of a 7x5m room. They are approximately 20cm from the ceiling and 20cm in from the outside wall as shown by the red markings on the floor plan below. I have high-level power outlets just behind the speakers to avoid cables running up/down the wall.I feel it’s time to upgrade from the Play:3s (especially with Sonos offering discount for trading up) but don’t know what to buy. Whatever I choose needs to be able to fill the room reasonable well for social gatherings, which the Play:3s just about do.I was thinking a pair Era 300s, but Sonos advise more space above the speaker than I have - will this be OK or am I paying for the spatial and not being able to use it? Would a pair of Era 100s be man-enough for a room this size? Would a mini-sub help? Perhaps a pair of Move 2s (or even Move 1s if I can find any), although this feels like I’m paying for the mobility and not using it? A pair of Fives would certainly be a step up,
Can my sub be used with Sonos amp and passive speakers
Hi all, since i changed back to utility warehouse for my broadband my sonos looses connection before it has even played 1 full song…… any suggestions for the best broadband group to use for the best sonos experience?
Hello Everyone,After a decade of learning from this forum, I'm excited to make my first post. I’m seeking feedback on my planned strategy to upgrade my Sonos System. This Thursday, I intend to transition from my legacy Sonos hardware, which operates on my 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi mesh network, to the latest models that will utilize my 5 GHz network and operate at 802.11n or better. I am particularly interested in hearing your thoughts on the potential challenges of switching between these two sets of hardware and these two frequency bands.Current Setup: My existing system includes three Play:5s (Gen 2), two Subs (Gen 2), a Play:3, a Play:1, a Connect (Gen 2), and an Era 300, all running without SonosNet.New Setup: My upgraded system will have three Fives, two Subs (Gen 3), two Era 100s, a Port, and continue using the same Era 300.Networking Gear: I use a Verizon-provided CR1000A router and an AiMesh network setup consisting of an Asus GT-BE98 Pro and three Pro ET12s. Each access point shares th
Hello first time here, Sonos user. Happy with what I have. Took a while to set up my system, but now is working fine.my question is if adding an Era300( only 1) would be ok. Or have to be 2 Sonos (Era 300).my system consist of;beam 2, sub 3 gen, 2 Sonos SL, 1 roam.it would make it better??
What is the easiest way to connect a Bluetooth turntable to a Sonos home theater setup with beam, sub and surround speakers. It seems the Bluetooth functionality of the era 100 surround speakers is disabled because they are being used as surround speakers
Hi,i recently bought a Move 2 (not yet received) for the outdoor use on my porch. And now i had that idea, that i can use the Move 2 as a front speaker and my existing one sl as rears for an incredible public viewing of fifa european cup next month.so: can i connect the move 2 with a tv and the sound then goes to the rear one sl’s like my arc is the master to them in my living room.thx for replies and suggestions
So many issues that I don’t know where to start! I’ve spent the best part of £10k and it’s so problematic that I’m regretting buying it all! Try again later is the Sonia setup advice! Oh yeah that will help!Moderator Edit: Removed serial numbers.
