I read on this forum yesterday that your Atmos speakers will not play Atmos if you group one non Atmos speaker. So my question is that I group my LIving Room (Arc with two play 3 speakers as surronds) with my Office (Era 300) If I play Atmos albums from Apple will I get them in Atmos with the two play 3’s TIA Steve

I’ve been a longtime user of a Sonos One that I love. I’ve been getting into vinyl lately, but since the Sonos One doesn’t have a line in, I decided to purchase a Move 2 so that I’d have the line in for vinyl, but also have some portability around the house when I’m streaming music.I guess the Move 2 was not made with turntables in mind, because it does not work well for this purpose. I’m using a Pro-Ject T1 (also purchased from Sonos) and I have the Move 2 set with line-in autoplay turned on. When I start playing a record, it takes the Sonos nearly 30 seconds to notice that something is playing and turn on, thus missing the first 30 seconds of the song. Once the record is playing, it sounds great.Once the A side of the record is done, and I flip the record over, the Sonos seems to detect the silence and turns off, and it takes 30 seconds to notice music is playing again. If I flip the record really quickly, it will usually play for about 10 seconds, and THEN turns off, before noticing

Hello everyone,My 3 ERA 300s and the sub are connected to my Hisense 90L5HD via Bluetooth. It also works in principle. However, the sound output itself is pure horror. Flat and pale sound output. Is it possible to adjust and improve the sound output in the Sonos app or in any other way? Or do I need an additional soundbar for a good sound experience?Kind regards, Opus

I have around 11 sonos speakers and 3 Apple HomePods. The HomePods work flawlessly for Airplay. But only certain speakers work on the Sonos side for Airplay and no matter what I do, (unplug all speakers and reboot router and modem and finally hard reset most speakers, nothing seems to work I consistently get “unable to connect to “speaker name””. However they all lseem to work on the Sonos V2 app. Has anyone found a fix to this issue?

Why can I barely hear my tv but the volume on my Sonos beam is at 75%

Looking for some feedback on my predicament due to the room layout. Looking for surrounds to pair with an ARC and SUB. My options are: 8” in ceiling speakers. Speakers would be mounted approx 10’ apart and 6’ behind the listener (in the ceiling of course) Pair of ERA 300’s but need to be mounted on the ceiling, inverted. Ceiling is approx 8’ feet high and ERA’s would need to be mounted about 5’ away from the listener (upside down on ceiling) Just curious what option would give me the best soundstage.

I have an Era 300 that I enjoy. However, it’s missing something. Doesn’t have enough ooompf. The highs sometimes are too harsh to bright. I need some punch. Would it be better to buy another Era 300 or buy the mini sub to go along with current Era 300? Which is going to offer me the most accurate sound

I bought a surround package from Sonos (Arc Sub 2x One SL)Have had it packed down for a couple months before moving in the new house, when trying to connect the system I can't get the 2x One SL to the S2 App because they are not compatible.Sonos says on their website that they are compatible with the Sonos S2 App.Whole package bought 10.12.2022 Are there anyone else that has been bugged with this?Thanks 

I have a pair of Apple AirPods Max and was hoping there was a way of making them work with my Sonos Amp to get wireless sound to them via a line in source.  I stumbled upon this link which made it appear it was possible using Bluetooth 5.0.  No luck so far, is this fake news?https://soundscapehq.com/can-i-connect-bluetooth-headphones-to-sonos/For what they say, Sonos would have to output bluetooth which I’m not convinced is possible.

Our system is 6 years old…and in the past month 3 speakers ( 2 Play 1’s and a Play 3) have completely died.  Anyone else have this kind of issue?  Each have gone out on separate occasions…so no power surge issue.  Not happy this is happening…

He comprado un sonos era 300 y tengo amazon music unlimited (familiarI  al intentar instalar amazon music en la aplicación de sonos no parece el servicio.   Contacto servicio tecnico de sonos y resulta que el localizador de la app (obligatorio, ¡viva la privacidad!) me ha localizado en rumania (yo estoy en españa)  con lo cual me dicen que tengo que poner a mano mi ubicación, que ahí puede estar el problema. Rumania debe de estar fuera del planeta tierra pues no dispone de amazon music. La cuestión es que sigue sin aparecer. Me dicen que espere 5 minutos… nada. Después que espere media hora… nada. Tres horas después hablo por teléfono con sonos, hacen alguna cosilla y me dicen que espere 24 horas y que si no aparece… que les vuelva a llamar (me dan un numero de incidencia) La persona con la que hablo es muy amable, pese a que yo bufo. He comprado con mucha ilusión el aparato, pero toda la ilusión se ha transformado en una gran frustración. Una pena. ¿Tiene alguien alguna solución? Camb

Suddenly, when connecting Sonos one speaker to iPhone, I get request to provide Airplay code. I don’t have Apple TV nor have Airplay set up with a code. Not sure why it started asking for this or where the code may be. 

Having upgraded my Vigin media router to get 1GB my Sonos one speakers won’t reconnect to the Wi-Fi. I have. Followed usual guidance but no joy. Is this something to do with 2.4 vs bandwidth? Hoping there’s  a simple solution as fair to say I’m not very technical! Any help much appreciated.

Hi, I have a family room which has a seating area around the TV with a Beam 2. Across the room a few metres I have a pair of Era 100’s. One Era is in the kitchen area and the other is in the dining area. Can I use the 3 speakers as 3 zones so split the Era 100’s into 2 zones and run them as mono? Therefore the kids could watch TV quietly using the Beam then I could listen to radio in the kitchen and have the dining room Era off. Then at a party turn on all 3 to have the party mode or use the Era as rears for the Beam when a film is on?. Is this possible? Thanks Sam

Just asking about using the eq. I surely hope the eq is more than just two lines ( bass and treble ) using slider to adjust. The reviews I read were really topping up EQ. They made it sound like you had infinite ways to adjust. Hope I’m wrong cause it may go back

Hey all, I recently changed to sky broadband from BT and since changing I cannot get my speakers to connect to the new network.I have separated the 2.4 & 5ghz channels and also turned off the sync and still nothing it's done my head in so much. Anybody know what settings are required to get them working?. I'm trying to setup up a play 1 & 3 and also a beam. Many thanks for any advice in advance also. 

This a question asking for suggestions: I oriiginally had the play 3 and 2 play 1s to play music in our dining room. A few years later, I invested in the Sonos Arc and am now using the 2 play 1s as rear speakers for our tv setup. So what’s the best use now for the play 3 - which is no longer involved with the Arc setup?

hi everyone!i need some help/ advice on what is the best set up/arrnagements to use....i have my 65” tvtv, sonos beam 2 soundbar, sub and 2x one sl’s. recently added the sonos port through my pioneer mixing desk, for my technics sl1200mk 2’s turntables as i dont mind a bit of a mix with my vinyls..… whats annoying is that the tv has to be manually switched to the port setting on the app on my phone.., and voice control (morgan freemans annoying voice) wont respond poperly/consistently! i have my tv audio, and then line in/turntables. morgan and the app asks me everytime whether its ok the tv will be-muted when i play my decks (.. ergh,,duh.)  and then has 2 sound systems for the port and lounge!  why is this not simpler?? maybe im an idiot..but i just dropped 600 on the sonos port, just so i could  use the sonos speaker system but this is getting embarrassing with the constant sound tech fails, and i swear if morgan says ‘ im listening… again- its driving me %^& miss-daisy-crazy… w

Accidentally upgraded to S2.  Need to downgrade my Sonos ones to be compatible with S1 controller.  Reset and they are at flashing green, but S1 controller add device option is greyed out.  So mad! Need help!

I have a Pixel 8 pro and looking to buy 2 era300 speakers and subscribing to apple music.(Currently using Amazon music) I have a query if someone can answer. With the Sonos 2 app and apple music connected as a service in the the app.  Does the Dolby Atmos/spaital audio work if I select music directly via the Sonos app? I know this works on iPhone, but need clarification whether it works on pixel 8 pro. thanks  

Hello there  I have a Sonos Amp and a number of Sonos Ones around the house. Whenever we play records in the house the volume on the Soho One is very quiet, relatively. By which I mean if you turn the volume way up it sounds fine, but then anything else played is super loud, and needs to be dialled back.  This happens across all speakers and there are no apparent issues with the setup, cables and connections are all fine. The record player is a Audi-technical and has never given me issues  Has anyone encountered this? Is this expected and just part of the setup, or is this something that with further investigations can be amended  Thanks in advance for any assistance  

Just wanting an update on this topic. I see requests for this are going on a year old and all topics relating to it are being closed for comments. Is this a feature that is being worked on? I recently bought 2 ERA 300’s and now debating returning them after finding this out. Like others have said I paid for 6 drivers and want to be able to use 6 drivers. Is there any updates on this concern that many customers seem to share?

I recently bought two sonos era 100 speakers and no matter what I do neither one of them will connect to my sony PS-LX310BT turntable. I’ve had the turntable for awhile now and it has no problem connecting to other bluetooth speakers but they just won’t connect to my era 100 speakers.
