It all started with my sonos one not playing anymore... after multiple times trying to fix decided do disable the skill... worked for that one. However other speakers stopped working. I have 2 sonos1 speakers that were perfectly paired. One of them simply stopped. Tried even factory reset with the two sonos 1 players but pairing sinply doesn't work. Have now only one of them playing... please advise what else has to be done...
I have 2 houses.............. I have 2 complete Sonos systems.............. (Day 1) I am moving a pair of (1s) speakers to house 2 from house 1............no help from your web info on my laptop, or apple app on my phone !!!!!!!!! (Day 2) I have messed up my house 2 by adding only one off my (1) speakers from house 1 by pairing it to the wrong speaker in house 2. I am trying to add a new room for my new pair but you have no info on how to do that. Now I am going to start to delete speakers to try again. By (Day 3 ) this should be totally screwed up.............but I go on. I really could use some help. Please. Case #: 00271224

Saw this in a previous string. My Play1 won’t stream music from my phone playlists with the buffering warning. In-wall speakers connected to amps work fine. My diagnostic number is 1855546344
Muffled sound comes in and out. Sent problem in 1189429322.
After updating to the latest firmware my Sonos Connect:Amp does not respons to the line in. It plays fine from the network. I have tried several sources and cables plugged into the line in.
Hi, Does anyone know how I can de-register (or de-couple) a Sonos One (with Alexa) from my Sonos account, so it can be registered with a new owner? To explain: I had a Sonos One and registered it to my Sonos account, and with the Alexa App. I have given it to my son and he would now like to add it to his own Sonos Account and set it up with Alexa on his own Amazon account. I've managed to decouple it from Amazon no problem, but can't find out how to do this in my Sonos account. One last point: The Sonos One is now in a different country (Netherlands) where my son is attending uni. Any ideas?
Message says not room enough for new playlist, replace. Well, I want to delete a very large one. How?
My Sonos system keeps skipping songs halfway through. I have read several comments from others and their troubleshooting ideas. Have tried it all. No luck. I've submitted a diagnostic # 2017805003. Please help!!!
Hi, I've had my Plabase + 2 Play:1 set up in surround mode for a year + without any issue. Everything on WiFi setup. The PlayBase has had a wired connection since i got it, but when I got the Play:1s I switched to WiFi as I did not want to add cables to the surrond speakers. A while ago I noticed that there was no longer any sound from the Play:1s. I tried to remove the surround, and re-add it. But it gives me an error. It goes through the set-up, I press the buttons on the speakers to add them to the surround. I get notified this: "Preparing the speakers in this room to work together. This may take a minute." I can play anything on the Play:1s on their own, but I can not add them to the PlayBase as surround speakers. It goes through the set, I press the buttons, and comes to: "Preparing the speakers in this room to work together. This may take a minute." Then I get: "Setup problem There was a problem preparing your speakers. Please check your network c
May I know, the meaning of the number that appears behind the "WM: " indication in the "About My Sonos System" dialog? I discover mine seemingly displays random number & the number changes depending on the number of devices that are powered on. For example: When my PlayBar isn't powered on, my system shows: Associated ZP: 192.168.1.120 --------------------------------- PLAY:1: Kitchen Hardware Version: 1.8.3.7-2 IP Address: 192.168.1.118 WM: 1 OTP: --------------------------------- PLAY:1: Living Room (LS) Hardware Version: 1.8.3.7-1 IP Address: 192.168.1.104 WM: 1 OTP: --------------------------------- PLAY:1: Living Room (RS) Hardware Version: 1.8.3.7-1 IP Address: 192.168.1.105 WM: 1 OTP: --------------------------------- SUB: Living Room Hardware Version: 1.8.2.5-2 IP Address: 192.168.1.109 WM: 1 OTP: --------------------------------- PLAY:3: Master Bedroom Hardware Version: 1.8.1.2-1 IP Address: 192.168.1.121 WM: 1 OTP: -------------------
My cat has a habit of turning the sonos on in the middle of the night by stepping on the buttons. A friend has the same problem and solved it by taping the cap from a medicine bottle over the buttons. This is an ugly and inconvenient solution. It would be great if the sonos had a true "off" setting.
My Play:1 is connected Via Ethernet to my laptop via firewire. I use SonoAir to be able to use it as an output for my MAC, allowing me to use it for youtube, etc. I make music and i have been able to make it work as an output in logic pro x audio settings. But there is that delay of some seconds which is annoying but i work around it. The quality is amazing for this speaker and a good innovation, Make it better by fixing this issue for all play:1 owners. And all future Sonos products. IM looking for a better way to get no delay to keep making good music. Im aware of buying an amp, which i will just not this second. what if...
I am a beta tester for apple and cannot retune my speaker now. Help??
I'm purchasing an Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USB turntable (with built in pre-amp). I have two Play 1's and a Play 3 -- and I want to be able to play to those speakers only (or any additional Sonos speakers I buy in the future) via the audio out on the turntable. I do NOT have any other audio equipment, such as an amp/receiver or other speakers. Is my assumption correct that I only need the Connect to play under these conditions -- or is the ConnectAMP needed? Additionally, could I equally get a Play 5 (in place of one of the Connect productts) and connect the turntable directly to the Play 5 and still connect with the other speakers? Thanks in advance.
The Sonos Beam doesn't just receive HDMI signals, but sends them out too. This is evident by the fact if you select your source to the HDMI ARC connection the Beam is using, you get pre-designed patterns being sent as video to your TV. What if Sonos could update the speaker to display music covers, music videos, music details like; time, title, artist etc.? Short and sweet, but I think that would be awesome.
Only getting sound out of one speaker. I can connect to either speaker(while stereo pairing) but can't get both to work at same time. The system had been working well with Wi-Fi pandora and CD player inputs! Any thoughts?
im off to Ibiza & would like to use my Sonos 1. The villa im renting has wi-fi throughout so am i right in thinking that i only need a different plug & everything will work as normal? Im not particularly tech-savvy so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

So currently I have play 5s and just gotthe soundbar as well. looking to pick up a sub and another play 5 what are the watts of these speakers? looking for watts and Ohms for Sub and play 5's I ask customer support and am told public does not receive this kind of info...---well we better Im dropping serious coin. i just want to know
Hi I'm adding outdoor speakers to my sonos system. Have the connect Amp and have been researching outdoor speakers to buy for my house. Does anyone recommend any particular speakers? I see Polk is pretty good but most outdoor speakers don't get good reviews on bass. I'm not looking for booming but I don't want all high end either. Bose looks good but is that worth the money?
I just bought a Sonos one to replace on in my lounge which is hooked up to surround sound. Why can’t I Pair it. It seems ridiculous to buy another Sonos one. Am I missing something here ?
After many years with Sonos products, I think I've just about had it. I recently moved 3 speakers to my GF's house for a party, and spent the more than an hour setting up, including new a Sonos account, and driving home to get a patch cable… Back home afterwards, I've now set up one speaker but I can't really get back to my old account - Now it only wants to use 'The one used to set up the system'. I'm really sick & tired of all the hassle and lack of user-friendliness. It is pretty extreme.. There must be other companies that deserve my hard earned cash more. Anyone know the market well enough to suggest alternatives? -Me
