Amazon music playing fine and Tunein app also. However as soon as I try streaming google play music through Sonos, the track immediatly skips to next until playlist is finished. Only started doing recently. Any ideas?! Diagnostic number is 7292320
I have a Sonos player 3 next to a big window. It gets really really hot their because of the sun at this time of the year and I was wondering if it could damage the Sonos player. It would kinda suck to change the position (by far best position^^), but I don't want to damage it (it was kinda expensive for me :p)
At the shop where I work, we use pandora on sonos speakers. We pay for a pandora account so there are no ads, but a couple of weeks ago, ads started popping up. We renewed our Pandora subscription and then I went into sonos settings and updated the account information for Pandora. Unfortunately, we are still getting ads when we use a pandora station. What should I do now?
I have 2 use cases where I'd like to be able to quickly and easily reassign a sonos sub to different speakers. Master Bedroom. I have 2 Play 1's in a stereo pair on the night stands. Would like to be able to have sub assigned to these but then change/toggle the sub to be assigned to the Playbar that's in the armoire with the tv. When I'm listening to music on the Play 1's, I don't want to open up the armoire....I just want to use the Play1's with the Sub. When I'm watching TV, I want to have the Sub assigned to the Playbar. Buying a second Sub seems silly. Outdoor Pergola. Similar situation. I have a TV with a Soundbar and a Sub. I also have two Play1's mounted high in the pergola facing the pool. If I'm just in the pool, I would like the Play 1's and the Sub connected. If we are watching TV/movies, I'd like the sub assigned to the Playbar. Is there a solution for this that doesn't involve purchasing 4 subs?
Has anyone ever placed a Playbar in a niche over a fireplace and had to use it in the lay down configuration (like on a cabinet) with the Playbar 5' above finished floor? I have no space to mount Playbar facing outward. Was wondering how it might sound. I thought maybe some sound would reflect off the tilted TV screen.
Hello, So I recently purchased a record player with a preamp so that I could play my records through the Sonos speakers that I have. Right now, I have the playbar and sub connect to my tv. How can I connect my record player to play through these speakers? I know the connect and connect:amp would work, but is there a cheaper option that would also work, while not compromising the sound quality?
Is there a max number of speakers for a sonos bridge to connect? I've just bought a single sonos one but when I plug it in there is no identification of the sonos network / bridge. Maybe I have too many speakers / rooms set up? I have a single bridge running a playbar / 2 surround one's and a sub as a single TV room, A 5 in the kitchen, a 3 in the garage and I now want to add a sonos 1 as a bathroom. Am I maxed out on the bridge?
Is it possible to save volume presets/profiles ? I've had a good look around and can't seem to see anything of the sort. Just wondering if I'm missing something. Would be good to be able to save presets ie. dinner party, sunday morning, whole house etc Where as for each defined setting each speaker had a saved volume
New listing on FCC today for Sonos product 'S15' Label is totally square so could be a new connect type device ? Let the speculation begin !
I have a room where i have 4- 8ohm speakers and i want to connect them to a sonos connect amp. What will be the best method to connect them. Thanks

Is it possible to use the speakers to voice page throughout a building?
Hi Is there a way to pair the sub with 2 group of speakers I have 5.1 surround with playbased and 2x play 1 and a sub I also have a pair of play 5 gen2 which I like to play music on it. The surround sound setup I don't like the sound of it for music, great for movie. I like to setup so the pair of play 5 use the sub when I listen to music and in surround setup when I watch movie
How many sonos sub could you connect a 1 connect amp?
Can i use my samsung tv playbar with sonos connect and 2 play 1's to make home theater surround as 5.0 channel
This has been a long requested feature for years. Why limit the listening experience to music only? I love the sound when pairing two Play Ones. I wanted to keep them, but the fact I couldn't also stream the sound of my movies from my MacBook was a deal breaker. Why would I want to invest hundreds or thousands on a system that's limited to music only. I have a MacBook Pro, and I watch plenty of movies. Why should I have to buy additional speakers from another company just to enjoy movies? No one should have to resort to buying a play5 only to plug it into an airport express through the auxport. No one wants any more wires sticking out of their speakers. Using the auxport defeats the purpose of a wireless solution. Why won't Sonos allow software driver based audio output through their PC/Mac controllers that will allow any app to stream audio. For example, I want to run VLC player or Divx movie player and have the audio stream through the Sonos system. Can we get an ex
Have read the instructions on how the RCA to 3.5mm cable can be used to connect to TV so went and bought one, but for some reason it is not working. No sound at all coming through. I have a Panasonic 4K tv and 2 Play 5's (2nd gen) set up as stereo pair mounted either side of the tv. Any help appreciated.
I just purchased a Play 5 last week. I am completly impressed and am looking forward to buying more components! I seem to have a rattle sound when songs or voices with more bass are playing. It is quite noticable and I am certain there is a fix for this. So, what would the fix be??
Hi All, I am a new Sonos owner very happy with my Playbar + Sub combination in room that is 20 feet x 15 feet. I would like to add more speakers to output music that is already being played on the Sonos from my phone. If they can also work as surrounds then that is good too :) I've narrowed my choices to three - (1) Connect my existing Focal Little Bird (two speakers + integrated amp/subwoofer) to the Playbar + Sub combo using a Connect (2) Connect my old Bose Acoustimass cube speakers (I have 5 can connect up to 4 I think) to the Playbar + Sub using a connect: Amp (3) buy a pair of Play 1 / 3 to connect with the Playbar + Sub I would like to evaluate these choices in terms of the below: (a) are combinations (1) and (2) possible i.e. will a connect work with the Focal (as it already an amp) and a connect:amp with the Bose cube speakers? (b) can the Bose cube speakers work properly in combination (2)? I believe they cannot handle low frequencies so the Sub has to filter
I am trying to decide if it is appropriate to house a Sonos connect outside and if so if there is a weatherproof case available.
My sonos keeps switching to rooms currently hidden
We installed your (6) Play:3 and used a bridge (ethernet) to connect it to a cable box rca. The problem that we are having is that unless the system is set to compressed, it crackles in and out. We have tried every channel option, put the line level to the highest, made sure drivers were updated. We are using a Ubiquiti LR PRO APs for our wifi system. Your confirmation number is: 7262290.
I have a Sonos Connect that is connected to my surround speakers in my living room. In my office I have 1 Play 1 and in my kitchen I have 2 play 1 speakers set up for stereo. All is set up in a single group and it have worked like a charm until a few days ago. Now I have delays of approximately 2 seconds between the speakers in each room. I have tried to look around for a solution, but have not been able to finde anything similar my setup. All speakers are running wireless except the Connect that is wired.
Hi! I'm new to this and am building a house. My plan is to have speakers around the whole house and was wondering if there was a limit to how many subs can be grouped together with everything else? I would like to have one in the rumpus room and another in the kitchen area
I have my Sky Q connected to my Playbar using HDMI in and Optical out through my Samsung Smart TV. The sound quality is poor, very tinny. I find if I set Sky Q to Dolby some channels have no sound at all, so I have to set it to Normal. My TV audio is set to PCM. I don't have a Sonos sub, and I am finding I have to set the bass to maximum to get any depth at all to the sound. I also have two Play 1s set up for surround sound but when using Sky Q I hardly hear anything through them, just the occasional almost undetectable sound. Playing music through the system is fine, and playing Netflix on my TV through the Sonos system is fine as well. it's just Sky Q. When I switch to Spotify or Netfix from my Smart TV the volume blasts out all of a sudden, the Sky output volume is extremely low. I don't want to connect Sky Q audio optical out directly to the Playbar as then the playbar won't receive any other audio source from the Smart TV, e.g. Netflix, Amazon Video, Spotify etc. and I don't
