Under the upgrade offer I have requested a shipping label, in my account, for old speakers to be recycled. I have however not received the shipping label. All email and address details are correct and the spam folder was checked. Could Support assist?
Hello,When I play a station from the LITT Live service it subsequently appears in the “Recently Played” list. However, when I try to “replay” any LITT Live stations from the “Recently Played” list, I always get served a “Something went wrong” error. I have this problem on both ios and Android devices. Is this a bug in the app, or are there any troubleshooting steps recommended?P.S. I used to have the same problem with the MyTuner service, but no longer do so. All MyTuner stations now successfully can be replayed via the “Recently Played” list. So, I think that problem was fixed in one of the recent Sonos app updates.
Does anyone know if sonos amps are UL listed? Got an inspector wanting to see ul cert to pas final inspection
I just added a new Symfonisk lamp to my Sonos Network but it refuses to play Apple music. When I try to play anything from Apple Music I get the error “connection to apple music was lost”. It tries the next few songs in the playlist and then stops trying to play the playlist. Everything else plays fine on the Symfonisk speaker, Tune-in radio, Spotify and Sonos radio. It is connect to my Ubiquiti Access Points and has 100% signal strength. I have also tried removing the Apple Music account from Sonos and re-adding it, but that did nothing.I can play Apple Music ok on my Sonos Ports, it has occasionally done this in the past with Apple Music on my other devices but I have managed to get it to work.Any ideas, I can try cabling it in as a test, but I bought a WIFI product and expect it to work.
Greetings from Mèrida Mèxico, I`ve got in my SYSTEM 2 Sonos One (SL and 2nd generation), Mini Subuffer and a Ray sound bar. I looking forward to get a 300 era, I know that it`s not compatible with the minisubbuffer. As an option if I get it, I think that the only one is to create a new system for the 300 era and play them at the same time, Can somebody give me another advise?
Can you download the 16.0 software for Windows and roll back from this horrendous software update?Otherwise, I think that outsourcing their software division to a competitor has worked, it has given the competitor more sales.
If there’s a Beam , Sub, and A pair of One SLs set up with a tv , can the Ones be removed and then set up as a different room to play the tv sound but not as surrounds? A new cigar shop has these speakers set up and the owner would like to have the Ones play the tv sound but not as surrounds. The Ones are by a different tv then the Beam. Hope this makes sense.
I know it’s down to myTuner and the stupid court decision that we cannot access radio stations from abroad anymore. But please add a way that one can play these radio stations through Sonos. Else the whole system is useless for me and many others.
Hi, I’m about to bring Sonos into my Home Theatre and am getting a bit confused - help! I can’t have rears as there is nowhere for them to go, so was looking at ceiling speakers above the seating position instead, but given the size of the room I’m now thinking it may be overkill…..and unnecessary hassle. Soundbar + Sub + Era could be the way forward perhaps? What would be the best sound solution for this sized room?Arc or Beam Soundbar?Era100 or Era300? (They can sit next to the TV with no worries)Would there be any benefit in ceiling speakers if I go Era300? My ceilings are 2.4m (7.8ft).
I used to be able to connect to one of my Sonos Bluetooth speakers and then link the rest of them inc non Bluetooth like Sonos 5 through the app to have the full surround experience.Helpful for smaller more niche apps or Bluetooth products like my record player. With the new app update this no longer seems to work.help!
I own an original Playbar and sub. Is it possible to create a HT setup using those and four Era 300s? Thanks.
Hi, I have had this problem since before the recent Update. All my devices are S2 compatible. But using the older ones (Play:1) its extremely laggy. Moving the volume slider doesn't do anything for 5-10 seconds, pausing or playing the same. I downgraded all my devices to S1 and it's working perfectly fine. So I suspect my Network is fine. the problem is: The S1 doesn't seem to get any attention anymore. Trueaudio doesn't work, it's buggy. So using the more recent software seems to be the way to go. I reset one of my Play:1 to try it with the new app. It’s a wired connection for now. But I am experiencing the same problems. I sent a Diagnostic Info with the number **********. So if anyone from Sonos is reading please check if you can find anything that is causing this in my system. I have tried everything on the support pages (i.e. changing the Wifi Channel….). Thanks!Moderator edit: Diagnostics number recorded and removed (identifying information)
HiWe have installed Nokia Beacon 1 units for our wifi mesh network, and now I cannot configure my Play 1 units.I have tried both with and without cabled network. I managed once to get one unit online with cable, but after I tried to use it on wifi, I have not been able to get it online again.Anyone with experience with Nokia Beacons?
I bought a home where previous owner had sonus system. He took everything but ceiling speakers that aren’t sonus. He said they connected to sonus but the app can’t see them. How do i connect?
I live in an approx 650 sq ft studio apartment and 11’ high ceilings. I listen to music and watch tv. My systems ok; except that I’m hard of hearing and struggle to follow the tv audio (especially dialogue) when I’m in the kitchen, which is only maybe 12-15’ from the tv (maybe exacerbated by the ceilings?). I got the Denon Home 150 for the kitchen counter. It creates a lot of echo which, by itself wouldn’t be a problem (I just turn down the sound bar and floor speakers) except that some channels, most in fact, 1) have a significant stuttering effect and 2) don’t really get very loud - defeating the whole purpose. I’ve always read that Sonos is the king of audio visual pairing. Is there a single (tight on space) speaker that would work in my kitchen? Could I pair such an additional speaker with my Bravia TV and Denon receiver set up - or would I have to replace my receiver with a Sonos soundbar?
Just got the Arc and have it paired with 2 Play:1’s and a gen 3 sub. Samsung Q80R tv. The sound from the tv will play for around 5 seconds and then cut out for around 1 second, play for 5, out for 1, on and on. I’ve swapped out the hdmi cable twice, tried unplugging the tv, switched between PCM and DD+ and switched between different apps on the tv. The sonos app shows that I am getting an atmos signal Was running a beam with the Play:1’s (but no sub) before just fine. Not sure what I should try next. Thank you, mike
Hi Sonos Community,I’m in the process of setting up a multi-room audio system using Sonos products and could use some advice on optimizing my setup. Here’s a summary of my current configuration and what I’m looking to achieve:Current Setup:Sonos Products: Sonos One (x2) in the living room Sonos Beam in the living room Sonos Move in the outdoor patio Network: Home Wi-Fi network with a mesh router system Primary Use: Streaming music throughout the house, including the patio areaQuestions:Optimizing Sound Quality: What are the best practices for ensuring consistent and high-quality audio across different rooms? Are there specific settings or adjustments in the Sonos app that can help improve audio performance? Room Calibration: How important is room calibration, and what steps should I take to calibrate my Sonos system for the best sound experience in each room? Integration and Control: Are there any tips for integrating Sonos with smart home systems (e.g., Alexa, Google Assistant) for
when will Mute be added back to the app. i miss it and need it back. I use iOS and android.
I have a failing S1 system. I have made the decision to upgrade to S2 (or whatever it is called now). Not knowing that my Spotify playlists would have to be “public” to edit (or maybe transport?), most of them are private since I didn’t know that was a thing. I have over 84 playlists totaling multiple thousands of songs. (I’ve had S1 since 2009.) Please tell me that my playlists will come with me when I update even if they are private on Spotify. I guess you can tell me even if they won’t. But if that is the case, I am switching to Denon since I’ll have to make them all over again anyway...Doubt I’ll live that long. Thanks for your help.Moderator edit: changed Sonos One and Sonos Two to S1 and S2 respectively, for clarity.
I could be wrong on this but maybe someone on this list can answer it. You will need to know some basic info on my SONOS system so I posted below..I mostly use my personal music library that is located on a solid state drive via my ethernet wifi connected network. I have a Apple Ethernet-wi-fi router that has an USB input on it. My SS drive with over 39,000 tracks on it (also my Apple itunes AKA Music drive) is connected to that same router. My SONOS components grab my music from that SS drive. With this upcoming software update it sounds like I (anyone with a similar hook up) will lose access to their connected drives??? I will lose of all my own paid for music on that drive. So one questions since I’m not quite a computer nut is… Is the way I have my SS drive connected to the router via USB considered a NAS drive?? Will I lose access to that drive if I do the update?
Hi @Corry P / @Jamie A / @Sotiris C., so many issues with the new app and so many threads, that I don't know if this one has been discussed yet, so I would like to report it to be sure it’s on the backlog:On Amazon Music I can search for an Artist and see their Top Songs folder, but there's no option to play these songs. If I click on one of these songs it plays only this one and stops. In 16.1 and before I was able to play all songs on the Artist Top Songs, being also able to toggle shuffle and repeat. Could you add this to the bug backlog, please? Thanks
Buying a new soundbar for a small room but don’t know what to buy. Watching movies and listening to music
Hi There here is the layout of our flat and we want to purchase Sonos for this flat. So far we have an in ceiling speaker in the master ensuite. but we will need to purchase a system for the living room/ kitchen / dining and standalone speakers/ sound for each bedroom. Only one TV in living room ( bedrooms don’t have TV’s). what would you recommend at a sensible cost don’t want to go over the top on spend?
i want to listen to my own Music downloaded on Music app on my iPhone. and I want to hear it from my loudspeakers set up to my Sonos Connect. Once that was possible but Sonos closed that. can you make that possible again ?
