I have a Sonos Beam and two Sonos One SL speakers in a surround setup.Surround works fine when playing music from my iPhone to Sonos via AirPlay, or when choosing Sonos as audio output via wifi on my Apple TV 4k. Sound is coming from all three speakers. However, the Beam is also connected via HDMI ARC to my projector (BenQ W2700). The projector has two HDMI ports, Port 2 is receiving the signal from my Apple TV 4k, Port 1 feeds into Sonos Beam. The projector only provides the audio return channel on Port 1.Choosing the default HDMI audio output on the Apple TV seems to only use the Beam, but not the surround speakers (there is no sound at all coming from the two One SL). Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible to have surround when the Beam is receiving audio via HDMI ARC? My setup: Apple TV 4k is connected via HDMI to Projector (BenQ W2700) Projector is connected via HDMI ARC to Sonos Beam Sonos Beam is in a surround setup with two One SL. Everything works great, except
I am setting up my cinema / music room with Sonos. I have purchased an Arc, a Gen3 Sub and a pair of One SL’s.Unexpectedly I now have a free pair of 2017 Play3’s from elsewhere in my house.Which will make the better surround speakers for my “best” system in the cinema / music room? The 2020 One SL’s or the 2017 Play3’s..? And why?I would like to use the S2 App.Thanks in advance.
I have 2 wall speakers, and they are connected with to the Sonos Amp. I have them hard wired into a switch that goes into the router. The sound cuts out every few minutes for 2 seconds. I tried wireless and hard wired. Any Ideas? Here is my diagnostic code: 142509174
My amp/ceiling speaker combo, ordered Nov 10 is showing backordered now 22 days. If the ceiling speakers are the delay, can you just ship the amp? I have other speakers I can use in the meantime, but I can't use my Gen 3 sub without the Amp 😳
Bonjour,Quelle est la puissance RMS de la Sonos Move ?Merci.
Hi,I am new to the Sonos ecosystem and had a question regarding multiple zones typically found in an AV Receiver. If the AV Receiver has say 2 zones setup as follows:zone 1 - home theaterzone 2 - patioWould I need 2 separate Sonos Ports to setup independent zones plugged in to AV Receiver? If so, are what particular features would I need to look for when AV Receiver shopping?Thank you

Hello all, When I first got my Beam a few months ago, the Enhance speech and night mode settings both seem to make a noticeable difference to the audio of movies and tv shows. However in recent weeks, if found that nether Enhance speech and night mode seem to make any difference at all. I'm not sure when the features first seemed to stop working or if its just that difference it makes is so minimal i just got used to it and stopped noticing. If anyone else had this problem or has any ideas, please let me know 😊
Hi, I want to buy Sonos for my living room, for music and TV(movies). My room living room has 18.5 m^2, good music-listening experience is more important for me, i don’t need 5.1 surround systemI chose to buy:Play 5 for music, in the future I wanto to buy second one, for stereo and even better music quality, Beam for TV.What i think:I know 5’s and beam won’t play together, even though I find it good choice for my 18.5 m^2 living room, to have best music-listening experience and decent sound from TV. Question: Is that a wise to buy such a setup as I chose? Or is there natural better option from Sonos speakers?Regards
WHEN IS THE ARC BECOMING AVAILABLE AGAIN? I ORDERED THRU SONOS MID JUNE WITH JULY SHIP DATE AND CANNOT GET ANY INFORMATION.
Hi all,So we had a house built and somewhere in the process there was a miscommunication of what was needed. We have two in-ceiling speakers installed in our living room. The problem is that the connections for those ceiling speakers go down to the basement where the receiver is instead of to the living room. So the only audio we can get through our living room ceiling speakers would come from the receiver in the basement. When I asked the company that installed all the sound systems they had said that, without needing to rewire a bunch of stuff, one of my options would be to get a sound bar for our upstairs tv and then some kind of hub, that the sound bar connects to, that connects to the receiver which would then sync the sound in the ceiling speakers with the sound bar. They had recommended Sonos equipment but I'm not sure what we would need to make this work, if it works like that, and was hoping someone could make some recommendations. I think the Beam or Port + Sound bar might be wh
When half of the screen of my CR200 went out, I picked up a replacement from eBay, because phone apps just won’t cut it for bedroom use. Unfortunately, I can’t get the new CR200 to connect to my Sonos network, which consists of a ZP80, ZP100, and One(x2). So far, here’s what I’ve tried: Turning the wifi setting on/off for the ZP80/100 before attempting to connect. Restarting the ZP80/100 before attempting to connect. Restarting the router the ZP80 is wired into before attempting to connect. The CR200 will switch to the “Connecting” screen, before it fails with a message that includes the link: http://faq.sonos.com/setupH I really need to get this replacement working, as it was the lower half of the old CR200’s screen that failed, and that seems to be where all the controls are that I regularly use. While the touch functionality continues to work, I’m not enjoying our games of blind man’s buff. Any suggestions?
It would greatly increase the value and usability for all of us with original connect amps collecting dust, trying to sell on offer up, if we could use the connect amp in ‘dumb mode’ by default. By that, I mean it starts with no network needed. Just plays whatever is coming though the line in. Could use for a lot of things that do not need a network like tv, connecting a Bluetooth adapter, etc. Requiring it to be on S1 limits all of us using the new app. Right now, I’m trying to sell this amp so I can buy an amp...
I want to transition from NAS to Cloud based storage, including music and photos. How can I access a cloud based music library in Sonos?

Hi!im looking to install a soundsystem for my projector. My projector has a 3,5mm aux.Im thinking of buying an connect:amp and plug that in via the aux. And then two One SL or the new Symfonisk from IKEA and BT sync those to the amp. Is this a doable solution? Will there be any latency in the sound?
I trying to figure out if I could use the Sonos Amp to power an older pair of Bose 401 speakers and connect a TEAC TN-280BT turntable to the amp via Bluetooth. Will the Sonos Amp accept the signs from the TEAC turntable? If this works I assume I would also be able to integrate the Bose speakers connected to the Sonos Amp to my existing Sonos network?
Hi Sonos,Why did you forget adding 5GHz to SYMFONISK in Update 12.1? :-( BTWNowadays, even washing machines fully support the 802.11 b/g standard and SONOS speakers according to their specifications as well, but in practice they do not use the 802.11 g data rate. This is a waste of valuable bandwidth.BRPiotr
Is there an option to turn off the unsolicited ad popups in the Sonos S2 IOS app? I use the app for controlling my music system, I don’t like ads from Sonos about Holiday offers, Sonos radio etc. popping up while I am using the app.
HiI have a ps4 with 1 optical out and 1 hdmi out, I’ve purchased projector and I still want my sound to come from the front Sonos Beam and send surround to the 2 Sonos ones, however the room the projector is in is a loft space with one wall slanted so the projector screen has to drop from ceiling across a large doorway. So I can't have the ps4 and av unit screen the same side as the screen. The playstation and projector are situated next to the sofa from where we view the screen and the beam is attached at the front above the screen on the ceiling.I can only see 2 options first is the cheapest but ugly…..a very long HDMI from ps4 to beam to get the surround sound to the front also id need 15meters and worried about quality at that distance or does sound not get effected in hdmi?Or secondly I was thinking is it possible to HDMI split from the back of the playstation to projector a Sonos amp and then send the surround sound from amp to the beam, and if so will this hold up the surround so
I am going to install the Sonos Arc on a set of brackets attached to my TV-mount.Plan is to make use of the M5 holes. However, seeing that the Arc is not mounted on the wall, how do I make sure not to engage the magnets? Use less deep M5 screws? This product apparently doesn't engage the magnets so it must be possible somehow: UM1-A (Sonos® Arc Bracket) – Next Level Acoustics
My tv doesn't have earc and I'm bit planning to upgrade anytime soon, My set up is 2 x play 5 arc sub Gen 3 and 2 x ones I'm trying to experience dolby atmos sound with music, I have the premium Amazon music app, can I get dolby sound from my phone via the wifi and sonos app, or can it only be done through the TV apps
Can I pair a single Sonos SL with a Beam for non-stereo sound. I want the same sound coming from both. I want to have sound closer to me while I am on the couch so I don’t need to increase volume for the whole system.
