Disengaging Sonos Arc Magnets

I am going to install the Sonos Arc on a set of brackets attached to my TV-mount.
Plan is to make use of the M5 holes. However, seeing that the Arc is not mounted on the wall, how do I make sure not to engage the magnets? Use less deep M5 screws?

Bonus question: Does the magnets simply turn down the bass response of the Sonos Arc to avoid resonance?

 

If so, would this even be a problem for me seeing that I am paring the Arc with a Sub?
