I am considering purchasing the Sonos Move speaker but I don’t want any voice control. Can the microphone be disabled on Sonos products? Is there a light to indicate when the microphone is enabled?
as per this thread:my roam turns itself on even though I followed the instructions and a) held the power button for 7-10 seconds until it made the tone and powered down and b) enabled battery saver in the app.My roam was “off” as per instructions (tone and battery saver) and sitting on a charging pad and when I returned home from work it is there with all it’s lights on.Why won’t it stay off?
Why is the NFC not utilized more than on "setup" on the Sonos Roam? I see that the device supposedly uses NFC for set-up, although I don't remember having to turn my device on or hold it nearby my phone for set-up. Anyway, even if it uses it for that, why not also use the NFC capability to make the Roam even more convenient a device post-setup?I have this pair of Cowin E7 Bluetooth Headphones that have NFC in them and when both my phone has Bluetooth and NFC turned on and I tap my phone to the headphones, they automatically connect to each other. It would be really neat if this also worked with the Sonos Roam, since it seems like the technology is in there to be able to do that and it isn't even necessary for what it says it is being used for. Perhaps this could be a software fix? Just update the NFC transmitter, once it's done with whatever it needs during setup, to communicate that it wants to connect via Bluetooth to the device that is next to it? Would be really neat and be able to
I have a 10-years plus plethora of first generation (S1) products that don’t function with S2 software. Is there a work-around way to get my system to work with Bluetooth devices
I have a brand new Sonos Move that will not work with Microsoft Teams. It works fine with Zoom, but not with Teams. It is connected to a Windows 11 system via Bluetooth. Is there something special about Microsoft Teams that I need to configure?
Hi all,Been a few years since I posted so sorry about what could be a silly question. I have just purchased the Move and one (part of a package). Now, as I believe the play 3 has been replaced by the Move, am I assume that the play3 will still work once the Move has been activated?Another question, if the Play3 will still work (which. hopefully I assume it will), will I be able to move this into the lounge and activated with the beam? Or could I locate the Move into the lounge and use it for mulipurpose - Beam & Move and Move by itself
just bought a SONOS Move. Initially concerned that when I took it outside it wouldn’t see my Wi-fi. I hadn’t appreciated it doesn’t support sonosnet. Luckily this isn’t an issue so long a# I set it up on the 2.4Ghz network. The real issue I hadn’t thought of is my controllers (iPad and iPhone) struggle to control the sonos system as the Wi-fi signal is poor. I’ve read loads of questions and answers around using Wi-fi extenders with sonos, mostly concluding buy a sonos bridge (I’ve 2) or a sonos boost. None though about getting the controller working. Obviously sonosnet is invisible to the controllers. So, is there a Wi-fi extender that will work, should it be set up as an AP (probably not as this creates a subnet) or configure as pass through?
You can update to connect several sonos move through bluetooth.?
