I would love to add a speaker outside in my backyard.  Will Roam connect to my Sonos Sound System so that whatever I am playing inside is heard outside on the Roam as well??

Hi,

yes, as long as you are on the same WiFi network, you can group the Roam with any other S2 speakers in your Sonos  system.

I don’t think you can group an S1 speaker with an S2 speaker though, so as long as surround system is Beam Arc or Ray it works fine.

If your internet signal goes that far, yes.

Yes, I have a wifi extender right on the inside of that wall for the TV already, so that would work.  It is a low-cost, high quality solution for me to get some music out there from time to time.  Thanks!!

Just as a warning, Sonos doesn’t always work well with Wi-Fi extenders, as noted in the Sonos Network Requirements FAQ, but YYMV.
