I have two move two speakers that I’m trying to connect simultaneously to my iPhone… But I can only get one at a time to connect
When is Sonos going to reinstate the battery life indicator for Move when in Bluetooth mode? Since the App update it’s disappeared. I thought it would have been done by now.
I've just purchased a Move2 and when I pair it to my Beam which is connected to my TV the sound works fine from the TV coming through my Beam... but the sound from the paired Move2 constantly stutters.
I just had the shock of my life, when i was listening some music quietly on my SONOS Roam 2, when suddenly it starting making machine-gun-like “sound”/noice at full volume/loudness!…This really has to be fixed! Also found this case, which is not active anymore, which is why I couldn’t quote there:
Hello, me interesa saber por que mi bocina sonos parpadea rojo y no carga, es un problema de la batería?
I suppose I’m still beating a dead horse to death here but why is there such a delay using the line in on Move 2? Sometimes there is no audio at all. I’m in youtube watching videos and I just went from one video to another to play a music video and it took 26 seconds for the audio to kick in. In contrast I have an old Libratone speaker set to line in and it works perfectly every time but sure doesn’t sound as sweet as the Move 2. I will say AirPlay works very well everytime which I can use but just wondering why this Sonos SNAFU.
Hi everyone. My Sonos Moves will not go FROM Bluetooth TO Wifi. I’ve pressed the bar between the Power button and the Join button on the back. It flashes blue for a while then goes back to green.I’ve done a hard reset by holding the power button down for 10 seconds. It powered up to Wifi briefly then went back to Green. I pressed the bar on the back again, same thing happened. Any help appreciated Thanks - Ben
My sonos Moove 2 often appears as not connected or sleeping. I often try restarting it but this happens frequently. This is the only one of my devices that has this problem. Can you help me.
Comment cela fonctionne? merci Moderator edit:Google Translate- Hello,I have an Arc + Sub Gen 3.I'm considering buying a Move 2 for outdoor use and to better diffuse the sound in the house.I'm also going to use it outside when I go to my parents' house, for example.I see there's a Roam + Move 2 bundle. I'm wondering how it works. Is it possible to pair just the two outside my home? How does it work?Thank you.
I have an Era 300 and two move 2s. Everything works well (unlike old Bose) except when router needs a reboot, then the Era comes back but the move 2s don’t. Twice I spent hours rebooting and reconnecting the speakers to no avail until TIME became a factor and by next day all was working again. This time I’m not going to bother doing anything and see if the passage of time fixes the issue. The app currently says that all three speakers are playing but the move 2s are silent, on other occasions the app has said “not cconnected” but reconnecting made no difference. Anybody else have this issue? I will report back tomorrow if time fixed it.
The playback on my Move keeps stopping, anyone else having this issue ?
Why is it so easy to accidentally reset your Roam when trying to turn it on or off and why does it not at least remain as a Bluetooth speaker.I’m unable to use it until returning to the home WiFi. Lovely brick to have on my travels.
I understand that Sonos Roam (and Move) can’t currently be used as surround speakers as to protect the Sonos ecosystem and not cause issues of the speaker was moved away and out of range. BUT - why not program it so that, if it’s connected to the base / charging dock / cradle / power supply, then it is in home theatre mode and setup as a surround. Then if moved and disconnected from the above, it is in roam / stand alone mode and no longer in surround sound setup. Removing one speaker would disengage the counterpart of the surround setup and then temporarily default all channels through the front speaker(s). This means users could have smaller speakers setup for surround sound (which I know appeals to some) to enjoy a movie at night and some tunes out in the garden during the day, for example. It could even go one step further. When on dock and charging it is listed in the app as left rear surround for living room, for example. When disconnected it could become garden roam and hung on
I plan to use my MOVE 2 in my little camper van to stream content from Pandora, etc on my iPhone . to my Move 2 using bluetooth.Question: Is there any way to adjust bass/treble, etc. when streaming to the Move 2 via bluetooth? Thanks for any help/advice.
My Sonos Move is stuck on white signal and does not respond tu any command. I cannot shut it down, charge it, or move it to Bluetooth mode. When I try to reset it by pushing the power button for 10 sec nothing happens.can you please help me ?
I have found a workaround to get a Stereo pair of Move 2 speakers to play stereo while on bluetooth! The caveat is that you can’t use the SONOS controller app but it will work with other streaming services.Use the SONOS app to create the stereo pair. Configure your mobile devices hotspot to be the same as the WiFi network your Move 2s are currently connected to. When away from your local network, enable your hotspot which will allow the SONOS speakers to connect back to WiFi and maintain a stereo pair. In bluetooth settings, select one of the Move 2 speakers which will connect the stereo pair. Stream or play downloaded music from an external app (Deezer, Spotify, etc.)Enjoy!
Hello everyone. I have spent many hours researching but I’m struggling to understand if I can pull off what I’d like to do.Our TV room has built-in, hard-wired speakers and a Fire TV Cube that provides all of our video streaming services as well as Amazon Music Unlimited. The Cube is hooked up to my receiver via HDMI so all of its audio goes to those speakers. I can walk into my TV room and ask Alexa to play jazz and she does. Life is grand.I want to expand this capability outside to the pool area, and since Amazon has no water-resistant Echo devices, I have ordered a Sonos Move 2. I was hoping to use the Cube’s Alexa to tell the Move 2 what to play before I head outside. I think this is possible?Ideally, I would like to also have the ability to ask the Cube’s Alexa to play jazz “everywhere” and have the same music playing in the TV room as well as the pool area, but this is where things get complicated. I don’t think the Cube’s HDMI output is part of MRM, so I started looking into how
Hi everyone,I’ve been using my Sonos Roam for just over 2 years. It is always plugged in via USB-C and connected to my WiFi network. Today, while I was listening to music at a moderate volume, the speaker suddenly started making a very loud and disturbing buzzing/crackling noise. The volume of the noise was much higher than normal playback, even though the music volume was nowhere near maximum.I tried to manually turn off the Roam, but it wouldn’t respond to any button presses. After about a minute, the noise stopped by itself. When I picked up the speaker, I noticed a strong burnt electronics smell coming from it.Now, it's turned off and I’m quite worried it might have a serious hardware failure.Has anyone else experienced something similar with their Roam?Is there anything I can try to reset it, or is it completely dead?Given that it seems like a hardware failure shortly after the 2-year mark, does Sonos offer any kind of support or goodwill replacement in cases like this? Thanks in a
I'm not new to Sonos. I've been there for the good and well of course suffering the bad lately. I have roughly fifteen devices and have replaced a number of those over the years. I've been pretty happy until the recent app debacle. Recently I decided to upgrade an old second gen device with something newer in my bedroom. Rather than go with an era 100 as I was planning, I decided to take the opportunity to upgrade my move. I relocated my Move to my bedroom and bought a Move 2. Sound is definitely an upgrade but the connectivity is atrocious. At least once a day, the app stops being able to control the volume. I can't even use the buttons on the device. They fail and show red on status when clicked. Yes I can restart things and get it back to a functional state but this has become a regular thing. I'm so annoyed that I'm planning on returning it and going with the cheaper sonos one and putting my original, reliable Move back into duty.Is there any reason I should keep the Move 2? Has an
New generic batteries don’t seem to work ?
Since I had issues with my Move 2 and getting “access denied” when trying to play to my Move2 from music on my external hard drive attached to my router, I decided to get a state of the art router - Netgear RAXE500 and rebuild the network. Setup went well, all Sonos devices connected without any real issues. Loaded music on the external hard drive connected to the router, created the shared folder all seamlessly. Here is where the app fails. I can create a “favorite” from a specific folder on my shared drive, the app names it from that folder and I cannot change the name, I can’t add to that favorite from a different folder. To bypass that I figured I will create a playlist with all my folders and just make a “favorite” from that. Wrong… the app doesn’t let me create a playlist. My workaround was using my computer. Not only on the computer could I rename a favorite if I wanted, I was able to build my playlist, name the playlist and then send it as a favorite from there. Could NOT do th
Hello to All!I bought a sonos roam 2 on this week and have a lot of pleasure with its sound. But my main aim is common sound device for all purposes. Using sonos as speakers for iPhone was really cool. It’ll be very convenient to use sonos just as PC speakers. And via WiFi. How I can do it?
I set up four Move2’s at my condo’s pool and want to be able to set a specific time (e.g. 9pm) for the speakers to turn off. I know I can set the timer up to 2 hours, but I want the ability to auto shut off at 9pm. I cannot find this functionality on the app, seems like a simple tweak fo the app.
DId I just waste $366 on a Sonos Move 2? I have a Port, Playbar and a Move 1 all working seamlessly. Products are rather pricy so I buy something when I can and decided to get the better sounding Move 2 and just keep the Move 1 in my bedroom. I just got the Move 2 today and it installed perfectly, it loads the playlist off my drive connected to the router like it should, but when I try to play anything from that drive I get an “Access Denied” error with no explanation of how to fix it. This is where I ALWAYS play my music from and it works fine on all other devices. If I can’t play music from my external drive on my Move 2, should I just return it? If it does not play that music, it’s worthless to me.
I have a home full of Sonos. Have had them since 2008. For the past five years or more, the app and products have gotten less reliable and glitchy. Now, I can add to the list the orange light brick of a Roam. I’m not going to call support or attempt to get a new one. Other attempts at support have resulted in zero meaningful help. Once in every room. I’m now not replace defective Sonos products. Totally disappointed. I’ve been loyal, now feeling scammed with crappy products and service. Once I used to recommend Sonos, now… I just for each one to fail before moving onto to another brand Roam bricked. Move glitches. App randomly plays, stops, plays. A totally unreliable experience all around. Sad
