Hi all,  I have a Arc soundbar, two Era 300 and a Sub Gen 3, I feel missing something in front like no power or big sound, is it a good idea add one or two Sonos Five in front and is it possible ? Thanks for your advice.  

Hi, We've moved and landed on what will be our placement for our TV, couch and two chairs. The TV is perpendicular to the seating, and while the couch is up against the wall the chairs are not (there is a space of about 5 feet between chairs and the wall).  We have a beam which will go beneath the TV but where to place our play:1:s for surround sound? I can't think of a great solution. The poorly drawn sketch shows where I think is the most likely. The speakers om the red X:s. Any better solutions? 

We've been adding Sonos to the house regularly, most recently an Amp in the living room connected to our Victrola turntable and powering two home theater bookshelf speakers. My wife recently feel in love with the sound and I'd like to expand the living room, still using Sonos.The first picture is my current setup. It's a bit unique given the items installed, but it all works flawlessly. I want to remove the soundbar/sub from the setup and replace it with a pair of architectural speakers, sub + one more amp (already have the amp) to use as a home theater setup (and she can use to play music, records, or watch tv/movies on).However, as you can see, because of the other items (namely the hue sync box and the headset), I've now complicated the setup ( i'd like to retain both, as I use the headset for gaming and the strip adds some immersion to our viewing).I am loo

Beam + 2x Era300 + Sub Mini 2 Hi all, The sofa is centered against the TV.You see I don't have plenty of space to move. I am thinking of getting wall mounts and I want to place the Era300 in 30* degree. Listening plenty of music, sometimes movies.What would be the best position to place them taking into account my situation for the best Atmos? Thank you  

Before I completely go mad! I’ve spent hours with Panasonic who sent me back to Sonos so I have no spoken to 3 times and have just got a new optical lead.The sound will come through the Ray but will not stop going through the TV. I’ve tried both not using my TV remote and using my app but then there is no sound through the Ray. live turned off and turned down the speakers on the TV but I cannot  operate the ray with out the sound coming on the tv. I can just listen to the tv by turning down the Ray but not the other way round.im at my end with it all.My old telly worked perfectly.i do understand that this Panasonic is made else where than other Panasonics and I’ve checked ideas from others but nothing will.Am I going to have to buy a new TV because of this crazy situation which is driving me slightly crazy. Help! 

Hi, I currently have an ARC, a Sonos 5, and Sonos port (for built in speakers throughout townhome).Wondering what the best plan of action for optimizing my set up and hardware for a home theater? Btw I recently moved into a home that came with everything in it which is why I have a kinda disjointed collection of Sonos products.From the research I've done it seems I could potentially use the built ins as surround speakers for the arc if I get an amp (I currently have an origin DPS2-200 amp). Do I HAVE to get a Sonos amp to use these speakers as surround sound? and is this recommended vs say just getting some 100s or 300s for the living room (idk what type of speakers are in the ceiling)? My 5 is somewhat redundant now. I'm thinking of selling and getting a sub to go with the arc. Good move or am I selling it short? I can play TV sound thru the Arc, the 5, and the built ins at the same time which is cool but not really accomplishing anything (other than h

I’ve seen on other forums that the beam cannot connect to 5GHz signal but my new router puts everything onto the 5GHz band and I cannot manually override that. So I created a separate IOT network on 2.4GHz, but then I can’t airplay unless my device is connected to that separate IOT network. Is there no other way to get the beam on the main network? Pretty ridiculous if that’s true in 2024. I haven’t even had my beam for 2 years and now I can’t use it for music because I upgraded my router? I just spent my entire night trying to make this work and am beyond frustrated.

Any reason why I can only seem to get Dolby 5.1 and not Dolby Atmos? I'm pretty sure I have everything set up properly via my Sonos, Apple TV, and Samsung s95b (FYI, it did work in the past). Samsung is connected to Sonos Arc via eArc.  All my Samsung settings are set to eArc and pass-through, etc.  Apple TV is also set to Dolby Atmos, but when I play Atmos content from ATV, Netflix, Amazon, etc, no audio is heard. If I change my ATV settings back to 5.1 from Atmos, all audio is fine.  So, why would I not be getting Atmos?  What settings am I missing?  Thanks!

I have a Sonos Arc (2023) installed on my Samsung Smart TV (2021). I have been using my TV for my work monitor with my laptop for the past 4 months with no issues. Two days ago, my Arc started making static noises any time my laptop made a sound. I can change the source of my TV to anything else (cable or the multitude of streaming apps) and there is no static whatsoever from my Arc, it plays beautifully. When I change the source back to the laptop it is just fine until it makes any noise. When I start a conference call, or play a video, or just have a notification go off for email or messaging and the Arc plays a static noise, along with whatever sound is coming through the laptop.I have not moved my laptop or router, nor have I added any new wireless devises to my setup, or had any hardware/software updates that would have caused this out of the blue. Just bought a new arc and trying to get it fine tuned.  Playing Jack Ryan on Amazon prime.  I am able to get Dolby digital plus but not Dolby atmos.   I using Earc from LG Oled C 65” to Arc.  I think I have everything switched properly.   Sonos said Dolby Digital plus 5.1 is the same as Dolby atmos.

I currently have my Beam 2 connected via HDMI eARC to my LG TV. It works perfectly. I can also use my iPhone to connect to it as well (testing purpose only). I would like to connect my Denon 760H receiver to the Beam 2 as well.I’ve set the Denon for Bluetooth+Speaker, the Bluetooth Transmitter to ON, and pressed the JOIN button on the Beam 2. No luck. I even pressed the Bluetooth button on the receiver remote for three seconds to try and get it to connect, but it doesn’t find any available devices. I’ve tried the aforementioned with and without the SONOS app. The app can’t see any devices that want to connect when trying to connect to the Denon receiver. Of course, I’ve powered things on an off as well. No help.My desire is to use the Beam 2 as my speakers for the Denon (in addition to the TV), and not use a pair of external speakers (I already got rid of the 30+ year old speakers).Has anyone had any luck trying to do this? Or am I better off buying another spea

HiUnfortunately I have a TV with no digital optical audio outlet, are there any adapters on the market or any other ways to connect the Ray to a TV with no digital optical audio outlet? 

So I become a proud owner of Beam Gen2, Sub Gen3, and two Symphonisk bookshelfs Gen1…….And this is my first post here.I spent whole day trying to maake it work. Just to make it clear I am an network engineer….. HiRecently picked up a Ray and whilst it works on Spotify etc via the app, the sonos app says there is not connection between tv and speakers. Tried the light down wire and it works. Removed plastic caps etc. Only thing I can think of is if the port on the sonos is broken? Pic attached. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance

El problema es que él, al subir el volumen con su control remoto (LG) solo se sube en la "Habitación" donde se encuentra la barra de sonido, el par de bocinas que se encuentran agregadas en la otra "habitación" aunque esten seleccionadas no de sube el volumen, se tiene que subir mediante la app de sonos. Este problema pasa cuando se está viendo alguna app de streaming o tv por cable, al usar Spotify sí se sube el volumen de todo junto usando el control remoto. Espero alguien me pueda ayudar. Mh sonos beam gen2 won’t stop blinking orange and white when i tried to factory reset it . what do i do?

My Beam 2 That’s running my living room audio is blinking a white light today.  I see other topics posted but since I’ve been on hold with Customer Support for over an hour I figured I’d post a topic while I wait. Things I’ve tried:Unplugging and re-plugging Factory Reset Plugging in an ethernet cable Plugging in a different ethernet cable to a different network Un-plugging and replugging all of the above for different durations  Update:  Talked to support and it was labeled a “boot failure”.  I’ll have to return it and receive a new one.  Luckily it was still under warranty.

I can't get my Fire TV Cube remote to control Sonos Arc volume...HDMI ARC input (one only) on TV is connected to Sonos Arc....Fire TV Cube is connected to HDMI 1 on the TV. Any ideas?

I’ve been in Europe for three months. I come back home to the US and my entire system does not work. What the heck is happened to Sonos? Each individual room works, but I can’t play music in the whole house and I can’t connect my portable speakers to play the TV when we’re in the pool. I’ve invested like $10,000 in the system and it’s completely unworkable  

It would be important to be able to customize the 'group audio delay' in ms, in order to optimize it.

Our current tv is a 82 inch Sony OLED  and within a few years it  will grow to approx 100 inch and not necessarily a Sony.Our current sonos  eArc sound bar plus a sub, which obviously does not give much left/right separation relative to the screen width. It will be even  more inadequate when ever the 100inch arrives, maybe in two 2 years time. We are prepared to spend a few $k to upgrade the existing TV to add 2x rear speakers and 2x  additional front side speakers, is this technically feasible? Could this arrangement work with larger TV. The goal is to improve immersive  quality now (with rear speakers and improved stereo front separation)  and  so have the audio setup established for when the larger TV arrives. We are also prepared to scrap  Sonos (ekk)  and start from scratch when the larger TV arrives, but are hoping there is a reasonable Sonos solution that will bridge both TVs. You could consider this is a home theatre setup as the room is de

This is a basic setup question. Looking to use a Beam Gen 2 as the sound bar for my TV. I have in-ceiling speakers that will be powered by a Connect Amp (compatible with Gen 2) and it's main purpose is background music. Is it possible to group the 2 devices together and use the TV sound as the source for both devices (if I want to listen to the big game on all devices)? It looked like the only input sources (when grouping devices) were online services (e.g., Pandora, etc.), but I may have been missing something.
