I have had a Sonos Beam for about a year now and like it alot. I was going to buy a sub but kinda don't have the room for it. Did read about the Move not being able to be paired as a surround but still able to pair to the Beam. I got the Move today but am unable to pair it with the Beam. Can't put them in the same room nor play the same music on them. I  can play music on both devices.. Just not the same music at once. Please help me get them grouped to gather 

I have a Beam and 2 IKEA Symphonisk speakers. The Beam has been working fine for over a year without ever touching it connecting seamlessly to Apple Airplay on my phone, iPad or AppleTV. Then came the iOS14 update.Since then there is only problem and the speakers became dust collectors only. I’m at the point to throw them out all together and opt for another system.Here is what I have now and what I have done trying to connect them all:-Iphone11 with iOS14.1 and iPad with iOS14.1 I use Sonos S2 app on the phone. -Beam and 2 Symphonisk on Wifi, but unable to connect to them through the app. I’ve already reset the router twice, worked a bit then unable to connect again. I reset S2 app. -I sign into the S2 app but my system is not recognized. Blank and not highlighted. Then I click on “Select product” but it just searching for nearby products for over 5 min. I’m standing next to the speakers all plugged in. This is the same whether I try to log in as join existing system or set up new. BY

Sonos Beam disrupts the TV picture periodically with black out of TV. The TV and speaker will be working well and then the TV will have two black outs where picture goes away. Between first and second black out the sound gets distorted. If we disconnect the sound bar TV works perfectly.  We replaced the HTMI cable and still have the same problem.

When connecting a directional hdmi cable between the tv’s eArc port and the Sonos Arc, which direction should the arrow go? Towards the tv or towards the arc? My first thought was that the sound goes from the tv to the arc, but someone told me the opposite. Just looking for clarification. Thanks.

Have a generation 3 sub and it has a persistent ticking noise. Sub is sat on carpet and has been moved to three different places. Its paired with the beam but still ticks constantly when listening to anything. Sub is exactly one week old Any ideas ?

I am having issues connecting beam with my wifi. I have been using the same wifi with beam for more than 6-7 months and no problems. But all of a sudden, I can't access the Sonos through app and the app is all grayed out giving error that no network connection. I tried restarting beam, router and factory reseting it many times, but for some reason app can't find the wifi. I also reset the app but still no success. 

When I set up my two Play One SLs as surrounds with my Beam the sound cuts in and out when playing music from any source however works fine when watching the tv. Sonos Support suggests that this is a network issue and I should put my router into Bridge mode as I use a Google Wifi mesh network.Has anyone else had a similar issue and managed to resolve it? Many thanks,Phil  

I have had a Sonos Play 1 for some time and have had no problems playing Sonos Radio.  I have just bought a Sonos Arc which is connected to my home system. I can still play Sonos radio on my Play 1 but when I try to play Sonos Radio on my Arc I get the following messages: “Unable to play the radio station” or “Unable to play “Name of Station” - the associated account was not found in your Sonos system”.  I can play radio on the Arc via other streaming services like Tunein but Sonos Radio will not work.  Please advise how to resolve. 

I have a Sonos Arc paired with a gen 3 sub and almost since the day I bought (2 months ago) it the sound randomly cuts in and out. Sound on for 1 sec, off for 2. The only way I've found to resolve this is powering off the Arc and back on. There's no common them I can pinpoint as to why or when this happens. It's connect via e-arc to a 2020 Samsung Q90t. I've run the diagnostics report 1811475585. Please help me fix this once and for all. 

Hi, Just bought a Sonos Beam 2 weeks ago and I still don't manage to connect from the Spotify app. I can see the Sonos Beam in Spotify listed as device available but when I click on it, it displays "Connecting..." and nothing happens. I called the Sonos support submitted the diagnostic report but they did not manage to find out the issue until now. Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem? I am just thinking to return it and ask for a refund. It just sounds like a big joke to me for the price we pay to have a so painfull experience of hours and hours just to connect from a phone whereas it takes just some seconds to connect in bluetooth with the cheapest speaker. Stephen

I have a Sonos Playbar approx 3 years old, is it possible to connect this to a peleton bike?

Setup:LG Oled B8 65 2x Sonos Play:1 1x Sonos Sub 1x Sonos ArcHi,My Arc is connected to the TV via HDMI Arc. All devices are connected to my router via wifi.The sound works fine with music, but when watching Movies on Netflix, Amazon Prime or from my Plex Server (with the tv apps and a shield tv) the sound drops out for some milliseconds and gets back afterwards. I guess it’s a problem with 5.1 sources?This happens quiete often and is really annoying. Is there something I can do to fix this?My diagnose id: 45732140. Thank you!

We have the Sonos ARC connected from our TV using HDMI eARC but we have terrible lip sync issues. All audio settings on Sky Q, TV and Sonos App have been updated to try and resolve the lip sync but the only thing we can do is to set the Sky Q Audio to Normal instead of Dolby Digital Plus.This means that we invested in the Sonos ARC to have no better sound output than we would with any cheaper soundbar. Why do we need to watch movies that have Dolby Atmos sound with Normal audio settings? Doesn’t that defeat the object of having the Sonos ARC?Are Sonos going to fix this issue?

Hi Sonos Community,Looking for some help please, I’m trying to get Dolby Digital 5.1 to play through my setup and to show up on the Sonos app.The two input messages I keep getting on the Sonos App under “Line In” is either Stereo or Silence 2.0, not Dolby 5.1.Here is a rundown of the equipment I own & how it’s all put together.1 x Sony PS4 - Audio Output set to Dolby Digital 5.1 - Running Latest Firmware1 x Sony TV KD - 43XD8099 - 2016 Model - Running Latest firmware2 x Audio Quest Cinnamon HDMI Cables - 4k/8k, Ultra HD / HDR / Ethernet / eARC1 x Sonos PlayBar - Hard Wired into Router - Fibre Optic connection from TV to Playbar1 x Sonos Amp - Hardwired to my Netgear Night Hawk Router - HDMI from TV to Amp4 x Sonos Sonauce In Ceiling Speakers acting as Surrounds & Stereo when listening to MusicThe PS4 is directly plugged into the TV’s HDMI Port 3 which is the ARC port, then from HDMI Port 2, I connect another HDMI cable into the Sonos AMP.I’m unsure If the HDMI Port 2 is ARC sup

Hello,for 2 years now i have problem that my sonos beam is having a crackling sound.I think the most of the time is happening when the netflix-app is used.When changing input, the issue seems to be solved for a moment.I am using the following setup : Nvidia -shield → HDMI to Philips Oled TVReceiver → HDMI to Philips Oled TVHDMI with ARC from Oled tv to Sonos Beam Off course all cables are already replaced.I saw different threads in this community , without a solution. Please Help.

Our Sonos Beam audio from tv stops working when we change the Fios channel and when changing the input to the Fios input (from fire stick for example). Going into tv speaker settings, selecting tv speakers, and waiting for the tv to auto change it back to Sonos fixes the issue. Also unplugging/plugging back in cable box HDMI or ARC cable fixes the issue. Any suggestions? Have tried resetting/restarting all devices 

Sub continues to turn off by itself, complete power off.  I’ve tried to reconnect to play at and surround system. Please help

I bought two bookshelf speakers to enhance the ARC and they cut out all the time. How is this good? Why is there no direct way to hook them up to avoid this????????

Help please! Our Sonos Arc continuously cuts off from our TV and now it wont reconnect at all. We tried the advice of powering off the devices, disconnecting the other HDMI cables, powering up the devices and reconnecting the arc only.Nothing changed, so we swapped out the HDMI to arc for a brand new one, followed the same procedure and still nothing.The Arc works fine for music, but no joy connecting to the TV. I’m starting to assume there’s a fault that’s not been diagnosed. Does anyone have any ideas of what it could be or how to repair? Thanks

Just added Sonos Amp, and trying to add (2) Play:1s as surrounds. Tried multiple ways to to set up surrounds, but failed. Background: I have 4 Sonos; (1) Amp, (1) Play: 5 Gen 2, (2) Play:1s.  Amp is hardwired, WM0. Rest are on wifi, WM1. Have (3) Google wifi’s around my house   What I tried: tried adding Play:1s as surrounds (with solid white light), wireless, failed. hard reset both Play:1s, and set up as surrounds (with blinking green lights), wireless, failed. hardwired one Play:1, and set up both as surrounds (with blinking green lights). The other Play:1 was wireless. I confirmed  both play:1’s are working together with Amp as surrounds. (I read subs and surrounds need to be on WM2, but when I checked, they were both on WM0.) I unplugged both play:1s and relocated them to correct locations wireless. No sound. They changed back to WM1 and can see them on Google Wifi, but no sound.  Both need to be in the back of living room as surrounds, and I can’t have them wired because AMP, TV,

Hello Community, I started as Sonos customer with 2 play 5 Gen 2 one year and a half ago, short after I’ve added a Sub (gen2)  to my setup. This is for me the best audio experienced I’ve ever had in my live wile streaming through Tidal or Spotify. The one thing I was missing was good sound for my Tv, so i've linked one of the two Gen's 2 through an Aux wire and as you can expect from an Aux wire in some good recorded movies the sound was good but in a lot of other movies it was just awful to listen to (like a Star is born as example). Last week I received my Sonos Arc, and started trying the following setup.  Sonos arc use only, this is awesome but I was really missing the ‘punch’ of the sub and the wide sound effect I had with the play 5's.  Sonos Arc with sub, awesome punch,breath taking clear voices but yes, still missing the ‘wide stage effect’ Sonos Arc with sub and Play 5 as surround speakers, actually not that good, in my short living room this was just overkill and I really was

I just upgraded my Samsung Q80R to a Samsung Q90T, mainly to enjoy better compatibility with my Sonos:Arc. However, I am unable to get Atmos audio. The Arc is connected to the eArc port, audio is set up to pass through. Using the Netflix app on the TV, I get MultiChannel PCM 2.0, while using the native Apple TV app, I get MultiChannel PCM 5.1, and while using the Apple TV 4K box, I get Stereo 2.0. Any ideas on what I need to do would be highly appreciated. thanks 

Hello, we have a Sonos Arc. We watch television (Netflix, etc.) through a Mac Mini connected by HDMI to the TV. Now we have bought a Sonos Arc and we want to connect it, but when connecting it to the Mac Mini via HDMI it does not sound, and if we connect it to the HDMI (HDMI 1) of the TV, as the Mac Mini is also connected by HDMI to the TV (HDMI2 ), it is not possible to use them at the same time, so if we select HDMI1 on the TV, you can see the Mac but you cannot hear SONOS, and if you select HDMI2 you can hear the sonos but you don't see TV through the Mac Can you think of a solution for this? It is incredible that a machine as recent as the Sonos Arc does not come with more input options, since many people today only watch television with a computer connected to a TV that only acts as a monitor. HiI have recently bought a Sonos Arc and a Sony XG950 (KD75XG9505BU), and I cannot get any sound through the Sonos Arc.I have seen people comment on Atmos problems, and cutting out, but I am getting nothing!After the first failure, and several attempts at changing settings in the TV, I have now removed all HDMI inputs, factory reset both TV and Arc; Started TV, Started Arc, installed HDMI cable, and still nothing.I can see that the Arc is “recognising” the TV. The app shows TV input, but no sound.(The TV is of course set to Audio System for audio out).I have tried setting up the TV using the app, and it gets to stage 2 - after recognising the eArc connection it then during the “Test connection” stage, the error message is “Audio System not connected”.I have tried all options on the Sony TV audio out menu… changing to bitstream, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus… I have tried with different HDMI inputs, as well as the in-built apps.And I have now tried everything on a different HDMI cab

Of course I’ve had multiple issues after updating my speakers. Typical but after finally getting everything setup again. Now my beam and sub are undiscoverable and completely power off once I turn on my TV. Pretty annoying having to keep my TV on to listen to music. I also have One SL setup as a stereo pairing but they are on a separate power source. My TVSony Beam and Sub are all on the same power strip. Any advice my one SLs are setup as a separate room. After newest update I had to re add everything and hard reset all speakers but the beam!
