This tv has 3 HDMI ports. HDMI 2 is the one with Audio Return Channel (ARC).
Initially I plugged my Firetv 4K into HDMI 3 and did appropriate setup. Nothing
Changing the Amazon stick to HDMI 1 did the trick

Your advice would be even more useful if you could elaborate on what exactly you mean by “Nothing”. No sound on the Arc? No images on the TV?
I cannot help wondering if the TV was set to input from HDMI 1 all along, and that is why HDMI 3 did not work. Some confirmation/clarification on that might also be helpful.

Using HDMI 3 allowed me to see video but no audio. Video and audio when I switched FireTV 4K to HDMI 1.
