Help!  Spent several hours today trying to set up my two new ERA 100 speakers with my existing ARC system and Sub Mini, all playing through a big Samsung TV, with Pandora music in the daytime and evening news and a few streaming or network shows in the evening.  I play Pandora music using the app on the Samsung, but the two ERA speakers would not respond with that approach--zero sound from the ERAs.  The tech support person suggested using the Sonos app to access Pandora.  That works, but that’s not how I want to access Pandora.  Pandora has worked just fine using the Samsung TV remote until I added the ERA speakers.  But it won’t work that way with the ERA speakers.  My tech support person seemed as frustrated as I was.  After nearly two hours working with her, I could see that we were getting nowhere by doing down the same paths over and over-with the same negative results.  I suggested that she get with someone who could solve the problem which she promised to try to do.  So I ha

WiFi in my home does not reach my Era300s or sub but my Arc is hard wired to Ethernet switch. Will Arc create a network and talk to Era300s and my sub gen 3 for home theatre or do I need to hard Ethernet wire the other speakers too. Thanks in advance.  

Hi There, Please I need some ideas.  I have a Samsung 98 inch Neo QLED QN90A (QN98QN90AAFXZA) and a sonos ARC with two ERA 300 for surround and 2 Gen3 subs.  The Arc is connected to the tvs EARC port.  I get sound find and I am able to pass through Atmos, and dolby digital plus and others. I tried to stream from my nvidia shield 2019 and via plex I get sound cutting out. I have tried it via netflix same thing.  I still get the audio cutting out on Youtube and plex on the native TV.  Here are the steps I have tried to fix this: 1-Replaced all HDMI cables2-Tried different input ports for shield3-Replaced my ARC with a brand new one (up to date with latest firmware as of 4-27-2024)4-Replaced my shield with a 2nd one around the house(up to date with latest firmware as of 4-27-2024)5-Tried testing it directly from tv app vs shield same issue6-Tried messing with the settings on the tv like earc auto and off, pass-though on and

I have an Onkyo TX-RZ50 AV Receiver and it won’t recognize the Sonos Port.  The Portis plugged into the CD input jack. During the setup of Hardware, the receiver doesn’tallow “works with Sonos” to light up.  Has Onkyo had a computer glitch with the particularreceiver?

I recently got myself an era300 and really impressed. I am (sadly for my wallet) tempted to get another one and use as rears for my beam gen2 /sub mini setup and replace my era 100’s with 300’s. Anyone with a similar setup? My living room is quite small/mis sized for uk standards. 4.37x3.68m and i am already quite impressed with the current setup but there is so much praise out there about era300’s as rears and it’ll be a future investment for the next gen soundbar sonos will release? thoughts, experiences ?

hey everyone. i got myself a refurbished era 300. it came with a good discount and considering the 100 days return policy, i wanted to give it a shot. i love it overall! i was just curious about one thing. I only have 1 unit (not stereo) and i think music gets loud and room filling after 50 percent more like 65-70 range. is that normal? i guess the only reason i ask this silly question is my home theatre setup which is beam gen2, sub mini and 2x era100’s get very very loud. it’s probably a output total watt kind of thing but i wanted to check. thanks

Here is my scenario which i need to explain to hopefully have someone understand my issue and help with my a solution.  So my home is setup with ceiling speakers in every room with their own dedicated amp. The amps are all set up in my basement far away from my tv. I just bought a new Samsung frame tv and wanted to connect the tv to the ceiling speakers in the living room that it’s in, but i don’t have the option to run an hdmi from the living room to the amp in my basement. So what i did was buy a Sonos Ray speaker, connected that to my Samsung frame tv via an optical digital audio cable, and then i was able to add the Ray speaker to my Sonos system via its WiFi and was then able to link the ceiling speakers in my living room with the Ray speaker. So now I’m able to play my tv volume through both the Ray speaker and the ceiling speakers in my living room.  Here is where I’m having an issue. Before this latest version of LG’s TV OS...I had a Sonos Arc setup with my LG G2 and there was just one sound control and the TV’s speakers were not used.  Now...the TV sends sound thru its speakers and the Sonos ARC.   Is this expected? How can I make it so I can manage both sources thru the Sonos app? Am I missing something ?

i have a silly question :)i have a portable projector. Halo xgimi+ which has an aux port. Due to my room layout i can only place the portable projector close to my rear speakers which are era 100’s. So the question is, if connect the projector via aux cable to my era 100 via sonos cable (usb-c to aux) would that allow me to use the whole home theatre system?

Our home theater resides in our Condominium living room. The system includes Beam Gen 2, 2 One Sl surrounds and 1 sun mini.We’ve seen multiple YouTube that recommend having 2 Sub’s and begs the question if the current S2 App can connect a 2nd Sub Mini?We opted away from the much larger Sub Gen 3 given its cost & our shared wall Condominium space.Thank you

Yes I know Arc is not compatible with S1 but I’ll explain why I have what I have. I have a total of 6 Sonos Connect Gen 1's, each powering 2 Sonos In-Ceiling Speakers in 6 separate rooms, including the Living Room. When we moved into this home, all that was already hooked up.   The Sonos Connect Gen 1s are of course only compatible with the S1 app   In my living Room, I have a Sonos Arc as my flat screen TV external sound system. The Arc is only compatible with the S2 app. The Arc is currently connected with a Sonos Sub (Gen 3) as the subwoofer. There are currently no speakers configured as surround sound speakers for the Arc. I bought these when I first moved into the house. Hello everyone,I recently upgraded from an Orei UHDS-202 HDMI switcher to an Orei UHD48-EX230-K, and I'm experiencing issues with syncing my Sonos Arc sound bar with my main LG TV. Previously, the audio setup worked perfectly with the Orei UHDS-202, but now, I can no longer get the Sonos connection to appear on my LG TV. Hei! I have a sonos beam gen 2 connected to a Philips 50PUS616/12 through Hdmi Arc. I have an apple tv conected to other hdmi and despitethe fact that most shows have dolby atmos, i never experienced it since the sonos app says that it is streamed in dolby digital 5.1any hints? Can i ever see dolby atmos on the app?

Hi there, i did everything to be able to listen to movie in atmos, i cant seem to be able to do it. I am able to listen to music in atmos but i cant with movies. I dod all the setup on the tv but i still cant. It always say Stereo Pcm. I am out of idea honestly.

Should I wait for new sonos product launches in 2024?Will there be a possibility of Sonos making tower speakers one day?or with the new sonos2 app I can have the possibility of individually defining each place on my speakers, for example (1 pair of sonos one sl as surround another pair of sl as surround back, sonos amp and two tower speakers like monitor audio or triangle borea as left and right, sonos five as central speaker.....Thanks

The surround sound setup instructions with Arc and Amp (to utilize my existing passive speakers for rear and sub channels)  say that when the surround feature is activated for Amp, the Sub output in the Amp is deactivated. So I can’t utilize my existing non-Sonos sub in a surround setup? If the sub output would work for a music only Amp setup I don’t understand why it would be disabled for a surround setup. Am I missing something? This is a pre-purchase question so i don’t have hands on experience with AMP and ARC yet. Thanks,

I have connected my SONOS Playbar to my iMac via the former’s optical connection. I bluetooth (and have the option of hardwiring) the iMac output sound to a receiver that converts it into a digital optical signal that then inputs into the Playbar. I have the SONOS App both on my iPhone and my Desktop. The Playbar is configured and set up on both platforms. When selected to ‘TV’ the iMac sound output works on my Playbar, however after a while the SONOS App defaults to ‘Music’ and prevents the iMac sound output reaching the Playbar. Why does this happen and how can I stop it?

Does Sonos provide warranty in India for products which are sold in the Indian market ? Also does Sonos provide services which are out of warranty in India ? 

Dears, I noticed severe quality degradation since system was updated to 16.1.1. Sound is breaking every 30-60 sec. Any solution here? My set: Beam 2 + MiniSub+ 2xOne

Hi all, So I have 2 front and 2 rear in wall architectural rectangular speakers and 4 in wall architectural ceiling speakers. This is for a TV setup. Originally I wanted a 5.1.4 setup but wanted to stay with Sonos for ease.I know I can set up the front and rears with 2 Amps and surround, making a phantom center. Is there any solution to add in the ceilings with another amp or two into this setup? Do I need to just get a receiver, and if I do will the phantom center be less effective? I'd prefer not to add an Arc because of the crowded look between the TV and mantle… but would consider it if it was the only solution.
