I purchased 2 ERA 100’s that I stream music to from my iPhone.I also purchased the Beam Gen 2 that is hooked into my Samsung TV via HDMI ARC.Is there a way to group them - Beam Gen 2 + Two Era 100’s together and switch between streaming music from my iPhone and listening to a movie on my Samsung TV? How to group? How to Connect? How to switch back & forth – TV & iPhone music?Thank you!

Just upgrade from: Arc with play-1toArc Ultra + Sub 4 and Era 300. Sounds awesome !However two things really buggering me already now:Having a setup with a non eArc projector and eArc enabled TV - both connected to separate ATV 4K’s for the projector I rely on Airplay - I would love to see Airplay support Dolby Atmos - seems that Apple has enabled that recently for 3rd parties so looking forward to getting that supported from Sonos as well ! Why on earth not exposing the sub as a regular Sonos speaker to allow it to group with any other Sonos speakers. Right now it gets dedicated to the Arc Ultra and that group needs to be grouped with the other speaker group I want use in order to work ? This actually came as a surprise to me - would have gone for a non-Sonos sub and a Sonos port IF I have only known about this. I read people stating that the sub creates a dedicated 5Ghz channel - which is complete nonsense - sending low frequency information could probably be done using morse code ov

HiI have an arc ultra and sub gen 3 setup app and system fully up to date.Last night I turned my TV off and 5 minutes or so later I noticed a flashing light, it was the sub gen 3 light blinking white, it lasted about 20 seconds, arc ultra was fine.I checked the Sonos app and my mesh internet Eero app and all was fine nothing seemed to have dropped off from the sonos app or lost connection.Anyone have any idea what this flashing white light could mean?I think it means it’s rebooting, but not sure? Thank you

Hi, I have the following setup:LG C4 OLED (connected via HDMI ARC to Beam)Installed Kodi on LG C4Sonos BeamThe problem is that when i try to play a kodi movie in dolby 5.1, I get PCM 2.0 or stereo 2.0 when in Sonos app.When I play movie in Prime and Netflix (app in TV) I get 5.1 sound when I check in Sonos app.I’m pretty sure (I might be wrong..) that this worked before, couple a weeks back but I had problem with sound sync with 4K movies and started re-config, I solved the sync but lost 5.1. I can’t find my way back to 5.1 and after 1h of trying I gave up. Has anyone had any luck getting 5.1 with the same setup as I have and still have the sound synk?Thank you! 

Hello,I currently use a single Sonos One for music and an LG OLED without speakers for tv/movies. I’m thinking of upgrading with an Arc Ultra and two Era 100s for surround in order to improve both my music and movie experience.Right now, my One is in the middle of the room (red). From what I’ve read here and seen on the Sonos website, rear speakers should go behind the couch and be angled towards it (blue).My question is: If I set up the Era 100s like that, it will be great for movies and TV , but won’t the music sound worse if I’m anywhere else than on the couch (eg: in the kitchen) ? Since the speakers will be aimed towards the other side ? Is there a better way to do it ?If anyone has advice or tips, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!  

Good Evening,I am trying for months now to try to hear when I’m watching TV or a movie people talking/voices from my Sonos ERA100 that are behind my coach ok each side.i only hearing people voices from the Sonos BEAM. All is in surround mode… the people voices/talking do not come out clearly…I mostly hear the music from the movies I am watching.would it be possible to have some help ?

My system: Beam Generation 2, Sub Mini and One SL and One as surrounds, with Apple TV 4k Generation 3 with 128 GB, LG TV 60” with EARC outputI was not getting Dolby Atmos from the Apple TV, just Dolby Digital 5.1 even with HDMI 2.1 cables. Couldn’t even get to the Immersive Audio option in settings on the Apple TV. Then I saw this from Apple’s support page: “Apple TV 4K uses a high bandwidth form of Dolby Atmos that doesn’t work over ARC connections”. Apparently to get atmos you have to connect the Apple TV directly to the sound bar, which is useless if you are using a soundbar with one input like the Beam.Fortunately I also have a FireStick which immediately gave me the option for ATmos and is working fine. Would an EARC splitter like Arcana Fury enable to accomplish this with the Apple TV?

I'm changing my sonos system, I bought several items (ARC ultra ERA 300 and Sub mini) but at the moment I only received the sub mini when connecting to the app and although the process finished without problems I can't see my associated product, I've already tried several times and it remains, thank you for your help. At this time, the old system continues to operate until the entire new system arrives. Thank you

I have connected to optical output of my Sony Bravia TV to the Sonos sound bar.I had previously used the sound bar with a Panasonic TV and I used the TV remote to control the volume on my sound bar and surround Play1 speakers.While the sound from the TV is coming out of the sound bar I cannot control the volume level using the TV remote.Can I pair the Sony TV remote to the sound bar?

Hello, I have a Sonos Room portable speaker and a Sonos Room SL and I want to buy a Sonos Ray or Sonos Beam and possibly pair it with the two Sonos room speakers. I saw on youtube that this preset would not be compatible, and now I look at the Sonos.com page and see a system between a Ray and a Room? So if I buy a Ray or Beam soundbar can I make it work together with the two Room speakers for a more pleasant experience or not??

Hi. My bedroom has a Sonos Beam (Gen 1), two Sonos One SLs, and a Sonos Sub Mini. They’re linked as a system to my TV. Boxing Day’s coming, so I wonder if I need to upgrade. I don’t want to buy an Arc, because my bedroom’s not that big. I just wonder if I should upgrade to a Gen 2 Beam or replace those One SLs with newer products. I have an Arc soundbar connected to a Sub and 2 Sonos Ones... but I don't know if I should replace the Sonos Ones with two Five speakers that I have in another room to improve the sound experience of the system, or if the Fives would actually be redundant or wasted in that system... and if that's the case, it would be best to buy two Era 300s for that TV room audio system... what do you think? A. Folks .. I've just spent almost a week sorting out my Sonos system and resolving issues. Some of this info might help someone. Especially if you don't have time to read 100's of articles online. Ironic I know!I initially had S1 and S2 setups. S1 - 2 x Play 5's as a stereo pairS2 - Playbar + Gen 1 Sub + 2 x Play:1'sIssue 1 - never managed to connect both Play1's as rear surrounds Playlists not able to share between S1 & S2Fed up with latest S2 app .. appalling!Decided to downgrade everything to S1Tip 1: Sonos says to reset every speaker BUT instructions say to hold join button until flashing red & white etcWent round in circles until one time when I held it longer until I got green flashing lights .. then it worked as expected.Tip2: (Should maybe be Tip 1)Keep your S2 app so you can downgrade to S1 .. Hey everyone, I have a question…Can you have 2 era 300 at the front next to the Arc and have 2 x era 300’s at the rear along with two Subs?

I just bought the Ultimate Immersive Set with the Arc Ultra, pair of Era 300s and the Sub 4. When I toggle the sub on/off through the app, the bass actually sounds better and fuller with it off. I’ve confirmed the sub is actually turning on/off when I toggle from the app. I've seen some review videos where they talk about not really needing the sub with the Arc Ultra and others saying two subs make a nice improvement, but does Sonos really expect me to pay another $800 for a 2nd sub? It doesn't make any sense to me. Anyone else have a similar experience?

I purchased a Sonos Beam and Era 100 speaker combo as well as a Sonos Mini Sub.  I did the initial setup for each speaker through the app but now the app put the Beam under Living room system 1, the Mini Sub under Living room system 2, and the two Era speakers under Living room system 3.  They are not working together when I watch a movie.  How do I combine the 3 Living room systems so they all work together?

Hi! How can I Connect my Sonos Beam and Sub to my new TV iFFalcon?

I see there have been several users with the same problems as me on this. The option to use Atmos is Greyed out on the Sound options of my LG C1 TV,Does the C1 not support Atmos ??  My output is set to HDMI ARC and the DTV settings sets to Auto. 

We are older and have trouble hearing when individuals are speaking.  What could I do to correct this?Would adding surround speakers help this?   Thanks.

Beam Gen 1 arrive DOA, has anyone else received product DOA for Certified Refurbished Products 

I would like to connect my SONOS ARC ultra to a Samsung QH75C professional display. The HDMI Input 3 on the display is marked with ARC but the connection to the ARC Ultra (with original cable) failed. The option in the sound settings to pass-through the HDMI-Input to an external device with ARC is not possible. All systems are uptaded. What is the problem ?

I have our built in Sonos speakers and Sonos arc as a pair on our LG tv and paired in the Sonos app. However, when I adjust the volume with the remote, it only adjusts one of the components (not only one or the other, it fluctuates which one it controls based on which one I maybe last touched in the pair). Mind you they are paired together. How can I fix this?
