Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have a stereo speaker set made up of 2 x ERA 100 and I find it randomly keeps going out of balance. The right speaker drops in volume to about half of the left speaker.When I subsequently change the speaker volume the balance goes back to the centre again, i.e. the right speaker increases to the same volume of the left.

Is it possible to use two remotes with a Ray, without having to reconfigure every time? I have an Apple TV and a TiVo. I can program both to control the volume on my Ray but I have to reconfigure using the Sonos app every time I switch devices. Is there anyway that it can remember both remotes? Or am I setting it up wrong? TiVo and ATV connected by HDMI to TV. TV connected with optical to Ray.

HiI have 2 x era100 both on ver 16.3.1. I am trying to set them up as a pair but i am just getting an error message to check my network connection.I have rebooted my router, i have reset and added both Era’s into the sonos app but i am still not having any joy.any pointers would be appreciated :)

I have a number of Sonos speakers all running S2 and on the whole they work great, but recently I've been experiencing a few annoying quirks. I should say I have a One connected to my router and then everything running from there.I used to have a One in my office and another in my extension. I moved the extension One into my office and set it up as a stereo pair, and now have an Era 1 in the extension.However, every now and again (maybe every month or so), the Office pair randomly renames itself to Extension. So I end up with 2 speakers both called Extension. So I can go in the app and rename the office one back again and it does work from there. I did try unpairing, then renaming the two Ones to be Office Left and Office Right, then recreating the stereo pair and calling it Office again. But even so it will just occasionally rename itself. The other day I started some music on it, then a minute or so later asked it to turn the volume down in the office and I got an angry clunk. Looked

How can I block others in the household from using the Arc whilst I’m not there 

Hi, updated to new version of app as of May 21, 2024, and I see the alarm function back but none of my alarms are actually going on at their right times. Anyone else have this issue?

SR P3 suddenly replaced by TriColor on Sonos (not google home). This has happend before. Second time I report it after it has failed again after some 6-8 month of working.There are other threads here (8 months old or so) with the same complaint.

I turned on my Move2 speaker and it started playing. Love the tracks. BUT I can’t find the playlist or station source on the app. I can find each individual song as it’s playing, but not the source. You can see my problem. What if I want to return to this source someday?! If I don’t know what it is, I’ll never find it again. I’ve been really disappointed with this app. 

It seems like it's time to try to collect at much info as possible on not being able to add  Ikea symphonisk’s since the last update.In my case, I bought some Symphonisk picture frames. Via ethernet and or wifi, you can get to the very last step, verify audio pin and then you are told that there was an issue adding the product to your system no matter what route you take, manual pin verification, audio pin verification, same outcome. For science I returned the first set and got another set. Same exact issue. For science one more time, I returned those and tried it again, same exact issue.  I was able to successfully add a sub mini which is great, but pointless at this point. This was attempted with both an ios and and an android device on the latest release for both platforms. Attempting to use the 16.1 app on android to try to add these speakers does not work either. Not because it doesn’t work but because the app refuses to let you add anything IF you are not running the latest app.

I'am Italian but I live in Switzerland.My audible and prime music subscription are in italy for obvious reason.Despite my profile being correctly set in italy, the app still believes I am in Switzerland. When I try to log in to Amazon services,  it pops up the US log in page. Here I cannot switch to the Italian one.Italian support said that the profile country change should have sufficed. But clearly the app doesn't redirect me to the Italian log in.Such a mess.

Hi all, currently at our football club we have 7 Sonos speakers. we have been using them on wifi and group them together to play music or play sound from the TV but we found that the speakers drop in and out or when using the TV the sounds lags out or goes off and on.the wifi signal is great all around the club house (it’s not that big) and I have done speed tests near the speakers we are getting 150 download at the hub and around 100 near all the speakers. we thought if we hard wired all the speakers this would solve the issue, So 2 of us today have spent the day and ran ethernet cable to each speaker and bought and network switch. as soon as you plug the speakers into the switch it kills the internet, everything stops working, as soon as you unplug the switch the wifi kicks in and the internet works again.  we have tried plugging one speaker into the BT hub and this works once we try and plug 2/3 it then kills the internet, we have tried other devices by Ethernet and it’s fine so we

So, at what point do Sonos come clean and at least be transparent about what is causing the bulk of the connectivity issues? Surely after 3 months you must have a good idea, because if you don’t that’s even worse news. The reason I ask is, if there is any common thread that users could look into to help themselves, it might be useful information. If it can only be fixed in the Sonos code, fine, but an explanation of what’s gone wrong, why and then when you expect it to be mostly fixed would still help enormously. Technical silence, spin and empty promises are not the way to earn back the trust of your user base. 

Will the ECB work on my Sonos connect?

I’ve been very unhappy with the new app from the start. And now, after a forced update of my Sonos Beam just now, my music library (1,500 cd’s painstakingly converted to ALAC) has completely disappeared. Come on Sonos, are you deliberately trying to alienate your original user base? WTF!

I’ve had my Sonos system connected to my 2TB music library via OneDrive for years. With the new app, I can no longer connect OneDrive. I’ve been using this setup: OneDrive for Sonos (michaeldick.me) which no longer works. Is there an ETA on when this will be resolved? It is bad enough I can’t create playlists which I use to sleep and haven’t slept well since the new app came out but now I don’t have access to any of my unique music that isn’t available anywhere but on my OneDrive.When will this app be fixed and work as well as the previous app?

I’ve waited since the beginning of May for this to be sorted.  Is it just a problem that is peculiar to me?I have used Sonos for many years and had only a few problems (all sorted) before May.I rarely stream from Radio etc but e.g. Radio Paradise works fine.What still does not work is accessing the music on my PC via the app (Android).  Again I had few problems before May.I constantly get “Sign in as the System Owner” even when I have done so.My computer frequently disappears from Music Source (Windows Media PC).  When I add it again I still can’t play music from the app.So if anyone PLEASE can help me I would be most grateful.  Is this a problem with my set-up (I reiterate it worked fine pre-May) or have Sonos not yet sorted it.Thanks in advance for any help 

Question about a possible setup with Sonos speakers. I have a Sonos AMP and 2 in-wall architectural speakers. I’m going to plug in the TV to the amp via HDMI. Not going to use a soundbar or a sub. Can I pair 2 Era 100s as rears for surround sound so all four speakees play while using the Sonos setup for TV and for music when not with the TV? Having trouble finding info on this possibility. Maybe it’s not possible with only the one AMP… but thought I’d ask the community. Thanks again!

I have a Beam and 2x Ones that I’ve used as surrounds in my living room for a few months without issue. Today my Wi-Fi network changed and I had to factory reset all three devices to reconnect to the network (the app was unable to do it for me).While I can set all three devices up, I can’t seem to add them to the same room. When I add them to “Living Room”, they come out as Living Room, Living Rom 2, Living Room 3 -- effectively each being in their own room. And when I try to add the two Ones as surrounds, it appears to be successful but then both of the Ones drop from the network and I have to set them up again.Incredibly frustrating and time consuming -- have been through the cycle of hard reset, adding to network, adding as surrounds like four times now. Is there any solution that doesn’t involve getting rid of my system entirely?

iTunes. Come on  where is it. I bought these speakers to enjoy music in my life.. come on Sonos…

I have two moves (recently purchased one) I’ve been trying to pair them to play in stereo but having no luck! I’ve factory reset them both and updated the app but when I press the pair button on the app it says make sure the speakers are compatible … I’m at my whits end 😩😁

Fix the app, this is stupid

 With either Apple Music or Amazon Music Unlimited I do not get perfect gapless playback.  I say not perfect because there is not an actual gap instead there is something I would define as a “bump in the road”.  Although this happens at every track change it is most apparent when the track change is during a loud passage. Looks like I can’t attach a video to demonstrate the issue.  So if someone with the system Arc-Sub-ERA 300s could try the above example and report back I would love to hear what you hear. Try this link though.https://photos.onedrive.com/share/F9ECAB971E7E522D!1647?cid=F9ECAB971E7E522D&resId=F9ECAB971E7E522D!1647&authkey=!AOzf9ZCR57vHnbI&ithint=video&e=XTvtSS 

Hi,Has anyone had any problems with their wireless charger? I bought my Sonos Roam and wireless charger bundle in Mach 2022, the Roam now doesn't seem to charge using the pad but will using the supplied cable plugged into the back.Typically the 2 year warranty ran out in March, I just wonder if there is a way of diagnosing if it's a problem with the pickup on the bottom of the speaker or if it's the pad, the pad does feel warm.

 This is the context menu when I hold down on an Amazon Music playlist.  Why would this be?  After trying it a few times it finally showed the expected menu options.
