Do ace headphones work in the same way as sonos speakers?
Why my Beam doesn't stay connected to the network while I'm outside? And why I couldn't reconnect it? How can it saved my network?
Moderator edit:Google Translate-I currently have a Sonos Arc Ultra, two Era 300s, and a Sub Mini.Since the latest update, my Sonos Sub Mini keeps disconnecting. I’ve already performed a factory reset and a router reboot, and reconnected it. It connects, but after a couple of days, it loses the connection again—it’s a constant cycle.I’ve used Denon, Bose, and KEF equipment all my life and never had any issues. It’s disappointing to buy a complete Sono
Hi all. I currently have a system in my living room which consists of an Arc Ultra, Sub Gen 4 and 2 x Era 300s. I use an Apple TV 4K and a 2021 Samsung Frame TV to watch all my content (through the Apple TV). Over the past 2 months I have been getting a very loud and rhythmic (almost like a heartbeat) thumping noise from my Sub Gen 4. It happens only when watching content (doesn't seem to happen when I listen to music through the app). When I pause the content on the TV, the thumping noise continues. I have tried removing the Sub from my system and re-adding it, done a factory reset, spoken to Sonos Support (who were nice but not very helpful) but the issue just won't go away. The issue has started a couple of months ago while before that I’ve been running the system just fine for about a year or so. Any help will be much much appreciated!
Why is the connection to DR lost (again)
Help from the pro’s needed...🙏11 Speaker Sonos System - Becomes Unresponsive After a While (Sky Max + Orbi RBE871 AP Mode)I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction because I’m running out of ideas. My client has an 11-speaker Sonos system consisting of:Beam Sonos Amps Play:3s Sonos Ones RoamFor over 6 months they’ve experienced intermittent issues including:Rooms disappearing “Unable to connect” “Cannot communicate” App timing out Speakers appearing in the app but with no playback controls Alexa playing to the wrong room or saying it’s playing when nothing happensOriginal NetworkI discovered the network was configured like this:Sky Max Hub (routing + Wi-Fi enabled) Orbi RBE871 mesh (Router Mode + Wi-Fi enabled)So there were effectively two routers and two Wi-Fi systems.Changes MadeI spent the day simplifying everything:Sky Max Hub now does all routing and DHCP. Sky Wi-Fi disabled. Orbi RBE871 changed to AP Mode. Garden Orbi also changed to AP Mode. Garden Sonos speaker mov
Når jeg forsøger at tilføje kanaler fra DR LYD får jeg at vide at der ikke er nogen elementer at tilføje. Det er for øvrigt startet i dag.Tidligere havde jeg ikke problemer.
I have installed a SONOS system to my house and I( think I have grown to actually hate it. It looks fantastic but is so difficult to keep all the speakers working. The APP guides are so frustrating as they don’t allow you to go back. My phone has been saying ‘Connecting to your Play 5 for 40 mins. This has happened a few times and if I shut down the App I lose all the speakers that I did have success connecting. I have x2 Players, X2 Play 5, x3 Sonon 1’s, x2 Sonos Move, x1 Sonos Boost. It all looks good, sounds great when it work but I am now beyond the end of my tether trying to get all speakers connected.
Hello apologies if this has been covered/questioned before.I have a bit of a collection and have recently changed my wifi to a new one after a while with no internet. Im happy to individually add my speakers back one by one but is there a way to save the updates for 1 mass update at the end. Currently im adding one play 3 waiting for the update, adding another, waiting for that to update, adding my era 300 waiting for that update, arc, sub, play 1, one, one, etc etc ideally id like to add all, have an option for ‘add more devices’ then once you’ve finished adding whatever you have you can ‘update all’ same goes for if you purchase a new bundle arc, plus surrounds etc does it not make sense to add them all to the network and then update altogether?
I have a stereo pair of Era 100 SLs in my living room that were previously linked to Spotify. It was great, I could seamlessly connect to my phone or computer to the Sonos and not have other audio come through, just whatever was playing in Spotify. Within the last 2 weeks, the Sonos speaker doesn’t show up under devices anymore. I have tried everything, and it’s driving me nuts that no matter what I do, I can’t get these speakers to show up under my devices in Spotify anymore. I don’t like connecting via bluetooth because then anything I look at on my phone with audio interrupts the music. And it’s also just extra steps to connect the speakers to bluetooth and then go back into Spotify and connect to the speakers via bluetooth. PLEASE help me fix this, I have tried literally everything from toggling on and off certain settings like Authentication or Local Networks within both the Sonos app and Spotify app, to factory resetting the Sonos app and my speakers and re-adding them as new. when I’m playing music through Apple Music app that I installed on my Apple TV 4K third generation Sonos app keeps saying stereo PCM, even though the song that I’m playing is lossless on Apple music app. I went to my Apple TV 4K settings under audio and video and disabled/turned off continuous audio connection. I restarted in my Apple TV 4K. My Apple TV 4K is connected to my tv via HDMI to 4K at 120 Hz sport which is HDMI 2.1 port, my Sonos arc is connected to earc port on my LGBXOLED. I have error 300 as surrounds. I recently updated to TvOS 27.0 but no luck.
I would like to know if the Ace Sidetone will work Bluetooth/USBC/3.5mm and connected to a Win 11 PC or a current Mac (I do work on PCs).
I need to replace some components in my Sonos Five and Sonos One speakers, specifically the woofers, tweeters, and the cable connection/input ports.Have you ever carried out this type of repair or component replacement?I would prefer to rely on authorized Sonos service and would like to know whether these repairs can be carried out and how I should proceed.
I have managed to using Sonos connect to have Sonos system of output to include hi-fi speakers at the same time. However, I haven’t worked out how to do the opposite whereby I play a vinyl record or cassette and the output goes to the hi-fi speakers and Sonos speakers at the same time using Sonos connect. I have a Denon receiver. any ideas?
Hello,I wrote to support but no reply....can anyone answer this?1/ I have 2 Sonos Play speakers paired in stereo.2/ I have ordered a new Sonos Beam Ultra. If I set the Sonos Play speakers up as surround speakers and pair them with the Sonos Beam Ultra, they will function as surround speakers as expected... but my question is: if I move them back (to their original location), will they play in stereo again, or will I have to pair them in stereo mode every time? Thanks a lot for the answer...Best regards, P.
My sonos 5 gen 1 cant get setup. I have a 2.4gHz wifi but when i get to the stage that SONOS wifi network is made, it says its not connected even thiugh my iphone says it is. ethernet route also not working (no lights when ethernet connected so set up route fails)
It’s a very strange case of deja-vu as per :Hi again,I need something similar for Sonos Era 100 SL as I have ordered a couple of those from Japan. I expect more paperwork will be required to get them through Taiwanese customs. Can someone as Sonos please assist? (Where is Corry? 😃)
My Sub 4 suddenly went offline. There is no status light. I unplugged it for a minute, reseated the original power cable, and tested it in two known-working wall outlets. It still shows no signs of power. All my other Sonos products are online and working. I also tried the power cord from my Sonos arc ultra thinking maybe it’s a cable issue and still my sub has no power. Has this happened to anyone? I purchased my sub january 2026.
Hi,I have 5 older Sonos speakers (Play:1 and Play:5 models) that still sound great, and I'm hoping to add Bluetooth/airplay playback capability to my setup. My understanding from research so far is that purchasing a single Bluetooth-enabled Sonos device (Roam or Era) would let me stream via Bluetooth to that device, which would then relay audio to all 5 of my existing speakers through the Sonos app/system.A few questions:Is this correct, will one Roam or Era let me Bluetooth-stream to all 5 of my existing speakers, or would I need more than one Bluetooth-enabled unit? Once set up, is grouping the rooms a one-time setup, or do I need to re-group them every time I turn the system on? If I'm hosting people and want guests to play music through the system, what's the process… do they need to group the rooms themselves, and would they need to download the Sonos app to do this? Or can they just stream from SoundCloud or Spotify direct into the system? Anything else I should know or watch out
Can you connect to a Sonos amp headphones from another brand?
I’m having an issue with a Roam 2 I bought a few weeks ago. I bought it to use through Airplay and I have an iOS automation set in the mornings to play the radio through all of my Airplay speakers. The Roam’s living in a bathroom meaning I can’t keep it on a dock or plugged in so I’ve set a daily alarm on the Sonos app at 0% volume just before the automation runs just to wake the speaker up. This worked great the first time I tested it but every time since then the alarm’s chimed at pretty much full volume instead of playing silently as I've got set on the app. Does anyone know how I can fix that or another workaround I can use to get the Roam out of sleep mode so it’s reconnected to airplay by the time my automation runs? Thanks
Are you experiencing S2 app problems with some speakers dropping out of view or not seeing volume controls and being able to control / play to speakers or failed firmware updates with messages such as connection timeout or can’t connect to server - all while using Netgear Nighthawk MR60 mesh system? Let me save you hours of troubleshooting and phone calls. Log into router web client (not the Nighthawk app) and go into the advanced tab under advanced set. Go to wireless settings and at bottom of page, enable “MU-MIMO.”Problem resolved!!! Enjoy!!
Hi everyone,I’ve been experiencing a frustrating issue since updating my Sonos app. My speakers appear in the app initially, but after a few minutes they randomly disappear or show as disconnected even though they’re still connected to my Wi-Fi network.I’ve already tried:Restarting the router and all Sonos devices Reinstalling the app Resetting the speakers and setting them up again Ensuring all devices are on the same networkThe problem keeps coming back, especially when trying to group rooms or switch between music services.Has anyone else encountered this issue recently? If so, did you find a reliable fix, or is there a specific setting I should check? Any troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!
We have a couple of Sonos speakers set up in our workspace which is inside an older stone-walled building. The environment gets quite humid, particularly during autumn and winter when the temperature drops and moisture levels in the walls increase. There is no active damp but the general humidity sits noticeably higher than a modern insulated building. So far the speakers have been performing fine, but we are slightly concerned about the long-term effects of sustained humidity on the electronics and drivers. We listen to music and podcasts throughout the working day so the speakers are running for eight or nine hours at a stretch in these conditions.A couple of things we would like to know from the community:Has anyone used Sonos products long term in a humid or poorly ventilated space, and did you notice any degradation in sound quality or reliability over time?Is there any guidance from Sonos on acceptable humidity ranges for their indoor speakers? We are considering adding a Move 2 or
Moderator Edit:Google Translate-Hi. I have a projector and need to transmit audio (via HDMI ARC) to a soundbar mounted on the wall opposite it, right below the screen. How can I transmit the audio wirelessly? Why don't you develop a dedicated device for this purpose? There is nothing on the market (I’m not considering Apple TV), so this is a chance for you to make a profit. What is the solution? Should I buy another Beam Gen 2 just for this and use it as a transmitter to send audio to the second Beam Gen 2?
