I have a fairly extensive system but get buffering when streaming Deezer, Amazon, Apple despite reasonable download speeds of 70/80mbps. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you.
Can I connect 2x sonos era 300 to sonos amp. as the front speakers?
I recently discovered that the actual TuneIn service will be replaced by a new one which is, for the record, not free anymore. I used the actual TuneIn to add my own radio station (rockradio.com) and was perfectly happy with it for many years. These streams are defined as https links. The own radio station was the only feature I used. I tried the new TuneIn and couldn’t find an equivalent feature.I have called the support and the only thing they were able to say is that the actual TuneIn service will disappear from my system anytime soon.I have also on my network a Synology server which provides the music library service. Maybe is there a solution through the Synology?Has anyone a solution to keep the own radio station service without using TuneIn?The own radio station was the reason I bought a Sonos system; it could be the reason I’ll get rid of it. I’m quite surprised that adding such a basic thing as a stream is not a native feature of the Sonos system itself.Any help would be great
Hello,I’m asking a question since the existing topics are rather old…I have a “Sonos playlist”, created by me, which contains files that were located on some network path on my NAS.Now I changed my NAS (different name, also slightly moved the music folders, so for sure can’t re-use the old playlist...) and I was wondering if I have any at-least-partially-automated way to update my playlist, eg:exporting it in some text format, replacing some path portions in a text editor, and the importing it back. exporting it, somehow creating an m3u out of it and importing the m3u…Is there any such possibility ?Thank you.
I am unable to access “Live and Extra” Sirius XM Channels on either my Apple IPad and Samsung A7 phone. I am able to access “Recent” Sirius XM Channels on both platforms. When accessing the entire list of Live and Xtra channels, I get the message “Sorry something went wrong, please try again”. The Sirius XM app (without Sonos) works perfectly on both my IPad and Samsung phone.
I purchased my Roam on 06/12/2021 and experienced battery issues from the start. Due to the unreliability I just kept it permanently wired (USB C - 10W generic USB adaptor) and used it as a portable speaker a handful of times. I eventually purchased a official Sonos wireless charger ($79 AUD) and it has pretty much sat on it ever since. Other then the battery issues, up until now I haven’t had any issues with the device. I use it to mainly control my google home devices and occasional music when doing housework. Yesterday I went to use it and it was dead, it had been sitting on the wireless charger for weeks so it seems really odd. I removed it from the wireless charger and put it back on and noticed a very faint orange light flashing. I searched online for advice and tried the various reboot methods and has no success. I plugged it into the USB C wired charger and a solid orange light appeared. I left to charge over night and the solid orange light is still there. I tried rebooting ag
My Sonos Roam Charging port has started melting and now won’t charge. It’s less than a year old. It could have caused a fire in my home. See image attached. Please could someone contact me to arrange for a replacement Sonos roam?
Hello,I have an Android and an iPhone cellphone. My youtube music playlists with 100+ songs are shown with an infinite scroll just fine on Android. On iPhone though it stops loading at a fixed number, like 100. So you can only see the first 100 items of your list on iPhone.
Hi, Please help me solve this annoying, and perplexing issue.I have:TCL QM8 (85”) TVApple TV 4K WiFI (latest TvOs)Sonos home theater:Arc, Sub, Era 300 (2)Arc is connected to TV via eArcThe TV remote AND Apple TV remote can control volume and muting/unmuting just fine.If I leave everything alone for ~ 5min Sonos becomes muted with devices showing the green LEDAt this point the ONLY way to unmute is to physically unmute a Sonos device by touching it, OR unmutng in the Sonons App, or enabling Sonos Voice and saying “Hey Sonos, unmute”. I don’t want Sonos voice enabled. My questions:What is “auto muting Sonos” ?Once this auto mute happens why are the TV and Apple TV no longer able to mute, unmute, control the volume?BTW As soon as Sonos is unmuted the TV and Apple TV remotes are able to control volumne and mutung just fine once again. All devices are on latest firmware / OS.Thanks,Michael
I have Sonos not play sound when asking Alexa to play music. She says “ok playing on Sonos” but no sound comes out. I first checked to make sure I had the right speakers in the living room set. Next, I reenabled the Sonos skill and the Apple music skills. I double-checked my Apple Music acct is correct for both the Sonos app and Alex app. These are all great things I found on these forms by searching. I am out of options. alex will work with the play one and play music but when I turn that off and use my dedicated Alex device she no longer plays music. I did upgrade to a new router system but didn’t change any specs in the process.
Hello i I am currently renovating / building the below space. And hoping to fit in-ceiling speakers throughout. Any ideas how many I should aim for and position to get a good balanced sound in the main activity spaces.
Looking for some advice - I have a large open living room with very high ceilings. Audio from my TV speakers is to muffled and needed ideas on a better surround sound system for this room. Mostly to just hear clear audio no matter where you sit. Wanted to also put in some ceiling speakers in the next couple of rooms that i can sync up to play music on all the speakers. I was thinking of doing two in-wall speakers on both sides of the Tv, subwoofer, and then maybe two other speakers on the back of the room?Appreciate any ideas you all have. Thanks!
I have a beam & two Sonos one gen 2 speakers which have been set up as a surround system for a few years, occasionally I've had issues where one or more speakers isn't connected but it's usually easy to fix.Today one of the 'ones' was disconnected, nothing I did would reconnect it, so I did a factory reset & it was then back in the Sonos app, but no matter what I do it won't reconnect to the beam & other 'one' as a surround speaker. After a few hours I just went back to try to join them all again & now it's disappeared from the app again. I'll get on to support tomorrow but the lines are currently closed. Does anyone have any idea in the meantime? Thanks 👍
I had a beam setup to a Sony tv and it was working buy suddenly its stopped.Everytime I set tv to use surround sound system it changed back to tv saying communication issue to audio system. What would have changed?
My Move 2 appears to be a very sticky client when it comes to roaming between the accesspoints throughout my house. I have also have two Roams that do not have any roaming issues and hop from one to another AP without issues. I guess some driver-tweaking is still required to improve that.Another issue I encounter is that the Move 2 refuses to connect to one of my accesspoints that runs on 5GHz wifi channel 153. It simply does not connect to it, even when it is placed next to the AP. Are there any region restrictions in play? I am in Europe but run my wifi system with US location setting. None of my other wifi-clients (Androids, iPhones, etc.) exhibit the same problem.
possiedo un move 2 e quando lo collego al pc tramite blouthut per vedere i film salta audio Moderator edit:Google Translate-I have a move 2 and when I connect it to the PC via Bluetooth to watch movies the audio skips
I recently switched my service provider from FIOS to Xfinity. My Sonos system worked for about 24 hours then disconnects and will not reconnect. No issue for 8 years when connected to FIOS.
Hello everyone, after adding pandora to the Music Service, my iPhone get confused and it looks like Pandora app and the Sonos-2 app try to overwrite echoer. I can’t find a straight and consistent way to skip song, change volume, change sound specs form either app.So, what is the best way to play music and podcast apps: from the original app on the phone, or from within the Services & Voice inside the Sonos App?Should I delete the pandora on my iPhone and keep it only in the Sonos app, keep it in both in the phone and in the Sonos app, or delete the Pandora inside the Sonos app “Music and content” and just keep it on the iPhone only :?) I hope it make sense THX.System specs: iPhone 11 latest update, Sonos Amp updated firmware, Sonos App-2. THX again BTW is overcast app supported by Sonos “services & voice”?
Hello everyone👋 As i really enjoy my Playbase i start thinking of getting another one and add it to the same Panasonic-tv. I will use a Toslink/spidif-splitter for connection. Have someone done this in the past and what was the outcome? Is it so i might be able to hook up dual sub for each Playbase? Then my next question will be: Do i add surrounds to the secound Playbase and witch one. My choice is the Ikea Symfonisk frame-speaker cause of limited space. Is this something i should STOP thinking bout,or….The other reason for adding another Playbase…..my TV-furniture is kinda low and by adding a secound Playbase i will get the TV up a bit.
Hello I have the set up below and would like to drop a projector screen down in front of the TV. Is there any way for the projector and the tv to share the beam input? been recommended the HDFury Vroom, but it’s £500!
So, I have been testing streaming from my PS5 (Plex, Prime, YouTube, Spotify) and it looks like everything I stream from the PS5 through the soundbar it's giving me Dolby Atmos (that's what the app is showing). Not sure who is making the trick because for YouTube I was surprise, I wasn't expecting getting the Dolby Atmos message in the Sonos App. I tested the same video from Amazon Prime with the PS5 I get Dolby Atmos even tho the movie doesn't have it!! With the NVIDIA Shield I get sorround 5.1 as expected. So, who is making the tick here, the PS5 or the Sonos App is having some kind of bug? But I can notice the sound difference so not sure what the hell is the PS5 doing to convert everything to Dolby Atmos.
I have 6 Sonos speakers (includes a sound bar and a larger 5, with 4 Sonos 1’s). Everything works flawlessly typically, but lately, music skips or stops when I’m streaming (Apple or SiriusXM). When I play from saved playlists, I’m getting song not encoded properly for many songs and it skips right over them. I see similar complaints from 5 years ago. HOPEFUL that there is a better resolution or big fix. Plays perfectly through EchoDot. Thanks!
So that's three devices on one network, all on the latest version of the app. One, the oldest, an iPhone 7 sees all my sonos stuff, the other two, a Pixel 7 and a 2021 ipad, see two different sets of the speakers.Had a problem a year or so ago that was similar and thought I'd found the solution, seems that you can't have an ethernet connected sound bar and expect that to work. But now this. The whole sonos experience is rapidly becoming rubbish and no longer recommendable
Hello everyone,I’ve received my Sonos One (Gen 2) yesterday, and overall I’m happy with the product. There’s just an issue I’m having when asking Google to play a radio station (in the Netherlands). I’ll post my findings and my current solution/workaround below. When asking “Hey Google, speel Qmusic” I get the response “Ok, ik speel Qmusic op TuneIn”. All good you’d say. Next I hear TuneIn starting, but then it starts playing an American radio station. The same problem occurs with any other Dutch radio station.Findings:1) Contact with support didn’t help much, but they confirmed it’s an ongoing issue between Google and Sonos. Lately it was working, but reports have started coming in since beginning of June about this specific issue. 2) All my locations in Sonos, Google Assistant and my Phone are set to the Netherlands. So the systems should know I’d like a Dutch radio station. 3) Qmusic has a FM frequency of 100,7 in the Netherlands. The radio station I hear is ‘Life 100,7’ in America.

This is the 3rd possible component from Sonos which offers a great starting point for a turntable. You may own (or are considering buying) a different turntable brand.
