Hi, is anyone else having issues with s1 being unable to connect to Sonos? I had issues where speakers were missing & reboot of boost and or rooter had sorted them, but was getting tired of doing this.  However now I am unable to connect to Sonos at all. I have tried rebooting but no success. 

Ever since I got my Ray, I’ve been trying to get YouTube Music playing on it via my Android phone but it refuses to work. I am a YouTube Music Premium member. I’ve also found a temporary work around.When adding YTM to Sonos and signing in with my account that has an active YTM Premium membership, I could not search for any music. It would say it could not find any thing on YTM’s search. I uninstalled the sonos app, cleared cache, made sure all of my apps were up to date etc at least 5 times. I used both Brand and non-brand Google accounts with the same email as Sonos. I also tried removing the Sonos connection in my Google account settings.I attempted to sign in to YTM using the Sonos Windows app and it worked! With the non-brand Google account part. I can search for all of the music on YTM as intended.However, upon reinstalling the Sonos app, it will not let me search. It says my YTM account needs to be reauthorised. I

From the Amazon Music Api Developer program, explaining the change from API 1.0 to new Oauth 2.0 system, still in closed Beta for development, but the basic method, if not configured, seems to automatically convert to the lowest authority-authorisation (if that makes sense) which is simply library read. You can read and play everything but cannot manage any of the following (see table below)This is determined by new/updated authorisation as defined by scopes. I was very pleased when Sonos reconnected me to my personal iTunes library 2 or 3 months ago. Two weekends ago I discovered that using my Samsung S23 I am unable to get out of a playlist. When the iTunes library returned I was able to jump out of a playlist to an individual artist or scroll up and down a play list. Now I am stuck in the playlist and can only navigate the playlist using the forward or backward arrow on the song playing. Is anyone else having this problem? Do you have any advice on how to fix this?

Our Sonos system comprises two Play 1 and two One speakers. We control the system from our two iPhones. If one of us dynamically links two speakers to play the same music (i.e. not using named groups), then stops playing any tracks, the other iPhone is unable to unlink those speakers and link different speakers. The previously linked speakers appear to be “sticky”. Sometimes, after waiting a few minutes, functionality returns,. It seems to me that the linking functionality, when applied from different iPhones, is flaky. Our system is up to date. We are using app build 80.14.09. We have an iPhone 11 and an iPhone 16. Is this a bug, or does anyone have a solution?Thanks

I have resisted moaning/complaining about the Sonos App but I have now reached the end of my patience, I have never been so frustrated with anything in my whole life than the so called Sonos App upgrade. I have several Sonos products which I do not know how many times I have performed a factoy reset, how many times I have removed the App from my iPhone and iPAD and it is hit and miss whether anything gets back to how I would expect technology to work in this day and age, all very disappointing. I had no problems prior to the App upgarde, I now have a Christmas Album through Sptify playing on three of my Sonos components and I have absolutely no control over them, I can’t even stop the music from playing, the only way I can stop the music playing is by switching each component off, this is just madness. So what is my issue, I have absolutely no control of my components through the App, no volume control, unable to deslect a component that is linked, unable to change the music

The Sonos app on my iPhone worked until today. It now sees my wifi but doesn’t see my system. My Sonos devices are showing up on my router as connected and Airplay still works. Deleting and reinstalling the app did nothing. Anyone have any ideas?

Just purchase a $5,000 entertainment system. When I try to access mny Sirius account thru Sonos the channels are all greyed over. I see several threads have been opened re this issue so I know I am not alone. What is really bothering me is Sonos enginers blame Sirius & vice versa! Also, it appears this issue has been brought to Sonos attention quite some time ago… Shame on you Sonos for not resolving an issue so many customers have brought to ligh!!!!!!!

Just a tip in case your downgrade to S1 fails during detection of your Sonos device in the S2 app after starting the downgrade process.In my case I did the downgrade via my Android phone which was connected to my 5Ghz WiFi. I had to switch my phone to 2.4Ghz WiFi first and then start the downgrade.

I’m unable to connect to any Sonos devices in my house.  The console on my Mac gives the following errors:“### Ignoring device found without pairing ID: 61856318877894, 'Sonos Arc System'”, “APSAudioFormatDescriptionCreateWithCMFormatDescription:289: got error -6735/0xFFFFE5B1 kUnsupportedErr”,“ptpClock_GetSynchronizedNetworkTime:560: false condition”, “BAE [0x549B]  [0xA87D] ### APSNetworkClockConvertUpTicksToNetworkTime returned an error: -71974 for anchorTimeHostTime = 125263.270, anchorTimeHostTimeTicks = 3006318482364”,.The one that concerns me is the one about the pairing id.   Is anyone else getting that message?  It appears that the lack of a pairing id is what’s preventing any of my Sonos devices from receiving Airplay(2) streams. I have the streams set to ALAC, 24 bit, 48kHz, is that compatible with Arc?

Songs randomly change, mid-song, on Sirius XM, and change to another. It just happened again:  Led Zeppelin song was playing, stopped, and Stephen Still’s song starts playing, until its completion. I can’t discern a pattern, but it happens many times a day. Can’t determine if it’s Sirius XM or Amp. Anyone else experienced this? Thx

Sonos people...how can you exist as a brand, company, whatever? Really. Is it because of the marketing??How the f is possible that in 31 December 2024 to have the same issue with "need to login as system owner" error???? When this error was brought up by several customers for months already.How can you not give a single s**t about your products? Absolutely insane. What do you work? What exactly have sonos employees done for months, if today a user can encounter the same stupid error??? You products cost a hell lot of money...and after we receive the products we look like clowns trying to do BASIC AND SIMPLE things with your dumb products. Absolutely unbelievable.How the f can we get rid of this error? We tried everything. Unistalled the app, reinstall the app, reset the speakers. What the hell is going on?  Certain playlists I'm using from YouTube music seem to multiply once they get into Sonos for playing, as I go into the queue the playlist goes from 150 songs to 33,000 songs. It's just multiplying the playlist over and over again. This is causing issues with the same songs playing repeatedly. I've tried changing the playlist in YouTube music, I've tried disconnecting from YouTube music and reconnecting, I've tried deleting the queue and trying again, and nothing works.  Please help  Thanks 

I think this is a request for enhancement. Spent some time searching the community and didn’t find this already discussed.It would be nice if the Sonos PC and Mac apps could be enhanced (or maybe a separate app created) so that a PC or Mac and its connected speakers could serve as a Sonos “speaker.” That is, it would appear in the Sonos app in the list of devices in the Sonos system and could be grouped with other Sonos speakers.For example, when I play music from iTunes on my PC, using AirPlay I can send the sound to any or all of my Sonos speakers and the computer’s connected speakers, all nicely sync’d. When I’m playing music from Pandora using the Sonos app, I’d like to be able hear that in the room where my computer and its speakers are.Well, looked some more and found this. I have a Sonos one, Play 3 and Move and up until recently I could connect all 3 devices on my ipad and play them independently but now the One and Play 3 can only be seen on my ipad if they are hard wired into the router.I have tried to add them by bluetooth but neither can be seen when searching unless they are hard wired in.Any idea how I can get them back on the ipad without being hard wired in?

iPhone app no control.  Can join system and see all devices. Sometimes get a message “unable to control system” web browser does control systemsame symptoms on two iPhones - both were working. Neither are company owned.  Pressing play button on any speaker will start the last source.   Lucky for me I like BBC 6music so at least I have some music. Buying five  Sonos devices to get a single Digital radio station is hardly a good deal   ACTION so far have deleted (latest) iPhone apprebooted iPhone left WiFi network and re-joined   NEXT actionrevert to S1 app? Feels like a huge effort to reset all five devices   

Hi - I haven’t been able to use my Sonos products from my phone in months now. I tried re-installing the app about 10 times, it opens to black screen with white logo, then turns to black screen and crashes. I have seen threads from 6 to 7 months ago with COLOROS users having the same issue, when will it be corrected ? I can wrap my head around the fact that there still isn’t a fix !  Specs of my phone :OPPO A72 COLOROS 11.1Android 11Qualcomm Snapdragon 665I know there is a web app, but it is not a viable long-term fix. There has to be a true corrective.Many thanks in advance for your support.

Every now and then, SONOS app Sveriges Radio (P4) plays content with several hours delay. It can also start replaying segments from hours ago. Or loop. If I stop, and hit play again, it normally starts broadcasting in real time. Then, after a couple if days, or weeks even it happens again.Anyone else experienced this? Any clue why this happens? 

Yet again I re-installed My Music onto Sonos. It lasted two days and has vanished yet again. Also, although the app shows the Roam is playing, there is no sound and the app can't detect the Roam to attach it to another room.CEO incompetence is often cited as responsible for this car-crash of an app. Perhaps alternatively, it is their desire to actually drive people crazy with this deliberately appalling pile of junk.

I’m trying to connect my Apple Music account to my Era 300 stereo speakers, and all I’m getting is a spooling circle when Authorising Apple Music account.  I’ve been trying for days, I have an iphone 14pro, all software on my Sonos app and phone is up to date.  My husband connect his account fine, and I connected mine on initial install, but had to do a factory reset on the speakers to set up as stereo and now all I’m getting is the wheel of doom.Can anyone help because it’s really frustrating. 

My Sonos network is spontaneously playing music from Spotify. This happens at random times and on random speakers. For example this morning it was playing on all speakers:(clicking on a room indicates the Spotify user is “Guest”). The strange thing is no one in our house has a Spotify account or even the Spotify app on any device. The Sonos network does not have Spotify setup as a service. The only way I can see this might happen is if someone were to join the WiFi network and play music from Spotify directly to my Sonos devices.Our Sonos network is made up entirely of old gear connected by WiFi and we’re using the S1 app.This happened multiple times this week. It happened previously a while ago (many months).Other than someone joining the network and playing directly I can only make wild guesses that point the finger at

I had an old but brand new Sonos Connect  and I’m trying to add it to my system. It won’t upgrade the software/it gets error 803. What should I do?
