Controllers and Music services

I have noticed that in the new updated app, when I tag my list of albums fin Apple Music for adding to the Home Screen, only the first 100 albums appear. The list does update when accessing it through the Home Screen but only the first 100 entries.i guess this will also apply to playlists, etc but I haven’t tried it as yet.because the Home Screen list is large icons rather a list in a smaller font it is useful for me as I am partially sighted and need to use a magnifying glass on the smaller font.Does anyone else have this problem?

How do I get the new update to take affect? It automatically made me update the app software. When I start the software update. Once updated confirmation is received it goes back to software update again. Have uninstalled reinstalled a number of times.  Unplugged from internet, turned speakers off and on. Still no success. On a Samsung phone.  

Reauthorization of Apple Music isn’t working on newest Sonos App. Streaming from Apple Music is working fine if I use another device through Sonos S2.

Good morning,since the update of the new app 89.00.04 release 20240507.671125b on May 7,the trueplay feature has been crashing on a ipad 2017. Through apple task manager, I have to swipe out the sonos app. Does anyone have a solution? Via the old app on another iphone it does work.Help!

Putting the unmitigated shambles of the release of 80.00.xx and the host of missing features aside for a moment (it is clear that Sonos’ C-suite is doubling-down and nothing we complain about is going to make a difference), can we PLEASE, PLEASE have proper release notes for the upcoming torrent of new releases that will inevitably be released over the coming months?Repeating the same thing over and over helps no-one, and I’m even willing to overlook the blatant lies about getting to my music faster!So, please Sonos, do the decent thing. Own your mistakes and provide clear information for each micro-release, so that we know what’s changed, what is required to see the changes, and what is still outstanding. For example, last night I upgraded my iPhone to version 80.00.08 and still can’t see the alarms…

I have a system made up of play1s, play3s, ones (mk1 and 2), and amp. My whole system has vanished from the app as of today. I have tried powering everything off, rebooting the router, then bringing the sonos devices up but no luck. For some reason the play3 (which is my one wired device) is giving itself a 169 address despite having a reserved IP address on my router. In fact, at this troubleshooting stage, I have left all of my other sonos devices powered off.  I have changed ISP today but I have not changed router, nor has the router been reset or restored to factory settings. The only thing that has changed is my connection to the outside world - my internal network remains the same as it was yesterday. I've seen a few people mention that this seems to be a bug in the new version go the app which requires and whole system reset which will result in me losing all my playlists, etc. Surely this cannot be the case?  Any help m

 Latest app release is almost unworkable... Unable to switch between radio stations without error messages.  System not foumdSomething went wrong.  There appears to be something seriously wrong with this release 

In the old S2 app I set wake up “alarm” by playing a certain radio channel. In the updated version of the app, I cannot change or remove the settings that I did before the update, so annoying to get a new app with less functionality. Any advice to resolve this?

The search function in YouSee Music in the Sonos app does not work. It does not help to remove and add again. When is it expected that this is fixed?

I'm sure radio stations used to show the track listings. These seem to have disappeared in my latest software update.Is this temporary, or a deliberate feature?

Only 1 of my 4 Sonos devices is visible in the app, but when i log into Sonos web i am able to see all my devices.we have 2 different mobile devices with Sonos app installed, and non of them is able more then one(the same) device.how will that be able to be fixed?Best reagardVejgaard - Denmark

My TV only has 1 arc HDMI and I use it for my Xbox since it lag for some reason on the other ones.My question is, why did they remove the active notification controls with the new app update and I can't find a way to have it back in all my settings. 

I have 4 zones with connect amps, all daisy chained together via their network ports, and connected directly to the router’s network port.  Everything worked fine pre “upgrade”.  Now all zones show connection to 4 different music services, with songs streaming - but no sound coming from any speakers in any zone.  Also don’t see any amp showing a connection to the network (wifi disabled due to ethernet direct connections).

I just got the beam gen 2. I created an account and I had to update my phone. When I try to log in I get a message saying the system owner must be logged in. Please log out and have the owner login. I am the owner. Also, if you use your Apple ID email, does the change the password? 

Listing my issues here from my iPhone, are: the new app cannot play my albums on Spotify, they do not appear on my phone anyway. alarms, timers, etc. and you know that already  cannot play a radio, says it cannot connectI am now bound to use the controller on my MacBook to play my Music. I read something about 3rd party controllers for iPhone so I may try that and abandon the Sonos controller for iPhone completely, if that is an option?  This is so utterly confusing, why guys, why, did you push this update through the throat of millions of users, ultimately being aware that your loyal users would be unhappy and scream? 

Hello , my question is I updated my Sonos app after I did that and getting my system working again with some trouble now when I turn my tv back on from being off it picks up my player bar no problem but now I have to manually turn on my play one speakers everytime , what is happening here and is there a fix that everything will work when I turn the tv back on without going thru a bunch of button pushing to get my total system to work , this didn’t happen till I updated my app

I have a new WiFi router.  Does Sonos plan on improving the app to where we can simply connect to the new router and have all our usual devices and services?   It seems a lot of people are having this same issue with the product(s) not being “registered” and therefore won’t play.  

I´ve just download the new app version and I can´t add songs to queue, does anyone have this problem? or the app doesn´t have that feature anymore?

Are song information and volume controls available again from my iPhone home screen? That feature was the most important one, and I am hoping it returns. Thanks!

BTW...I like the S2 refresh thus far. One feature in particular that’s almost ready for prime time. Let me explain…If there is a problem with a Sonos hardware update the app now shows you the Room Name and identifies the speaker that failed to update. Sweet!! There's one nit pick… even though it takes you to the correct room...It doesn’t tell you which speaker (left or right) regarding a stereo pair or surrounds. 😥Maybe that should be an additional feature request (add on to S2). Oh well...I guess one can’t have everything; or can they  🤔

Updated to the new app… Why do things just get worse.Song titles no longer shown in the albums, or whilst playing.At the very least I should be able to revert to the previous app version.not too happy

SONOS will not allow me to add a music service. Keeps telling me to sign out of my account and sign back in. I have done it repeatedly yet it will still not allow me to add a new music service. I’m trying to add Sirius XM which I just purchased. What’s the trick to being able to play XM over SONOS?

I am having multiple problems with the new app 1. From front screen when I select a live station to play - it takes me to another screen to press play rather than just playing (worse than original app) 2. The app is slow to load and spends time thinking before bringing up pictures, lists etc. (worse than original app) 3. When looking a track list in a YouTube music playlist, the same tracks keep repeating rather than showing all songs.  Terrible app
