I think the development community has the power to develop a good system. Open your interfaced and you will see like other projects it is going to work out.    Or  I love your product do not make it second class like the upgrade now (2024) let us downgrade until you figure it outlove you 

A New very hyped (and feature missing) version came today… on  iOS. But not on Android? there is a lot of click here ‘google play’ etc…on all Sonos pages…. But no new version ;(  ??!!?!

In the latest update for iOS Subsonic music service is no longer to be added or visible at all.Please repair this or make it possible to go back to the previous version!

I upgraded the app and now none of my products are connecting 

Don’t have access to anything after the change!

Can no longer find my music!

I've decided to just accept that things are how they are.  Sonos will proceed with whatever schemes they have. Resistance is futile. 😁   

It is May 9, 2024 and I just updated my Sonos app on my iPad. Now I cannot see the many playlists that I had created on saved within the old Sonos app. Any advice on this topic would be appreciated.

Why doesn’t the new search function now include searching your home stored music as previous releases did and have always done?

Is it possible any longer to connect with the new web app or iPhone Sonos app to my Music playlists on the computer or iPhone?

Since the controller update I can only load a single file from my Synology nas drive whereas before the update I would load a whole folder. Any suggestions please?

When entering Content Services, what is connected account. I have a connected account to my Spotify streaming service called User and do know what this means.

When S2 came out, we all had the option to switch over straight away or to wait until we were confident it would work with our systems. I stayed on S1 for about six months, and still have a 4-box system on S1. I was cautious as I have spent a lot of money on Sonos equipment at multiple locations and did not want to have basic capabilities bricked by a bad update only to be told by support to be patient and my needs were rare.So can Sonos tell us why that was not the approach this time for “S3”? Mixing S2 and S3 controllers on a single system works Just Fine so why didn’t Sonos make this new Alpha-quality app an option (at least initially) and leave its customers to make the decision for themselves when to switch? With basic core capabilities like Play-Next, Add-To-Queue, Sleep timers and Library searching removed, the new app was sure to be unpopular with loyal customers so making it mandatory seems a very strange choice.So, @Corry P , @Keith N, @Marco.B  and other staffers - can you g

When is Sonos going to acknowledge this latest app update is just a mess and a real backward step. We have all lost useful features we’ve known, loved and used daily for years.We can no longer interact with our systems in the way we need.On this basis, I could not recommend Sonos products to anyone.It’s a disaster - may as well face it.

Where has the alarm clock function gone after the app update?

All large retailers must warn potential Buyers that Sonos has ruined their products! It is imperative that no one purchase these heavy paper weights until Sonos and its CEO standup and explain how they are to fix this! Anyone that is in the return period should probably return their product. Sonos has committed egregious acts against its consumer base. I would certainly expect class action lawsuits to be filed. The large retailers need to warn potential buyers or they will be dragged into this quagmire!

Looked everywhere but can't find option to search for related songs in SoundCloud anymore in the new app. Anyone found or solved it ? Cheers 

I appreciate the efforts with new App, but the Home Screen now feels really busy.  I'd like to see more customisable options eg being able to move or change the Search & Browse Bar. I don't like the full width bar above the Room/Playing section. It feels too busy at the bottom now. For me, an always there, Magnifying Glass Symbol next to the Profile and Settings Symbols would suffice.   I was really hoping the new App would introduce more EQ options eg Addition of Mid Range Slider along side Treble and Bass.  I understand some functionality is currently missing that existed in the previous version. I hope to see these options return very soon. 

I have ‘upgraded’ to the new app version and after several attempts I have managed to get my system operating again. However, when I am trying to add content I can find what I want. For example, I want to get Absolute Radio back but I don’t have the option when I’m looking for stations. Any ideas how to get it?

I was just told to update the Sonos app on my iPad. It sent me to the Apple store where I downloaded and installed it.  The background of the icon has now changed to black like the old S1 app, and it lacks the ability - or I can't find it - for anything but start, stop, and volume. I can't change radio stations or select a different source.Efforts to start a chat with support have failed; no one responds.

I have a Cambridge Audio sub on my Amp and have noticed since upgrading to build 80 that the sub controls are not functioning. If I turn the sub off in the app the Amp is still sending a signal to the sub. Level changes also have no effect on output. I’m fairly certain S2 build 16 would control a 3rd party wired sub.Has anyone else experienced this behaviour on the new app? Thanks.

Good Morning, I have had several support calls to ask for help downgrading to the 16. version of the app. My assessment based on these calls have been the only answer they have all been authorized to give is: “This is not possible and you will just have to wait till we release 80.## with the features you want back.”  At the moment it appears they will not help all of us who do no not wish to alpha/beta test their new app. Additionally, if you have updated to 80.## and allowed the firmware to be updated on your devices they are claiming this further complicates the issue. So if you have updated to 80.## check your system settings and be sure auto update is off before it pushes an 80.## out to all your hardware as well.

My Spotify didn’t work once I updated to the new Sonos APP. And I had few error messages when I tried to delete the Spotify service. I was able to delete it after a few try. Now I cannot add it back in. It keeps showing “Something went wrong”. Anyone has encounter this issue? 

Has anyone had issues with TuneIn since the app update? I updated the iOS app today and TuneIn wasn’t working, I removed it from my service and went to re-add it only to get an error message each time telling me to check my network connection.   My network connection is fine and other services are playing no problem.
