Controllers and Music services

When using SoundCloud by itself, I see dozens of songs under the artist. But when using Sobos and accessing the same 'followed' artist via Sonos, no songs for the artist appear. This problem appeared with the Sonos update around April/May 2024. Previously saw all the songs for SoundCloud artist when accessed thru Sonos. Anyone had any success resolving this?

When I use the new search yousee music isn't answering but when I use the old search it works perfectly.I have tried to uninstall/reinstall the Sonos app without succes.Anyone got a good advice? BR Claus

Sorry Sonos,but your new App (talking about 80.00.04) is the most ridiculous thing I experienced for a long time. First thing after I installed it: sending WhatsApp messages to all of my friends to warn them.I am not talking about the new interface or having to get used to the new design. The new app. Is simply bad.I am asking SONOS to go back to the old app or make it available for people who want to go back and use it.The new app is full of bugs and it make me regret to have bought SONOS!!!

Habe soeben die App aktualisiert. Nun wird meine mühsam zusammengestellte Amazon Musik Playlist nicht mehr angezeigt. Was muss ich für eine Wiederbelebung tun?

Maybe I missed it (it’s not intuitive if it’s there) how do I add music to a queue?  When I select an album or a song the only option I see is “replace queue.”  I want to listen to this song next, or later.  also, when I select the queue icon on the screen showing the song playing, it says queue is empty even though an entire album is playing. What am I missing?

When I try to change the Sound, the system randomly only select part of the grouped rooms.. Not very well tested your new app.. 

Anyone having problems with Napster on Sonos? All of a sudden the service disappeared on my Sonos system.

How do I access the Sonos app without having to go into it i.e., via my notification bar? Ever since the update I've not been able to see it and I now have to always go into it. I'm using a Samsung S9 android phone by the way.

Qobuz had been working fine with Sonos until several months ago. Now Sonos invariably skips through Qobuz tracks until it loads one. And then will skip again.  I don't have this problem with any other streaming services on Sonos. I also have no problem using Qoboz on my phone.  I spent hours on the phone with Sonos support and they haven't been able to help. They keep just wanting to troubleshoot more and more.  Any suggestions?

Ever since the new update I can no longer search for individual songs. When I type in a song title that brings up the correct artist but in the past there would be a section for songs and I can just go directly to the song. Instead, now I need to know what album within that artist that song belongs to.

I’ve just updated Sonos App on my wife’s Android phone. I’ve been reading other community comments, where people mentioned they experienced issues. After 30 minutes of playing around with settings (on phone), managed to get Android phone updated. All I’d say to anyone installing new App, ensure;your phone is on same WiFi network as Sonos controller your phone has latest version of operating firmware have patience whilst performing necessary updates (it takes time to finalise settings)Hope this feedback is useful?

Yet another bug in this new worthless app: when the roam is charging it is constantly seen as ‘playing’ in the background. Meaning if I listen to music in another room on other devices it keeps suggesting the charging roam as the device to send music too / play music on / connect rooms too (this need to deselect playing rooms to not join them is a massive irritating bug in a family setting!).The roam doesnt say its playing in the app. But other devices connected to it do see it as playing. As a home assistant user HA shows it playing and triggers its automations and dashboards on it. While no music actually playing on it. also explains why the battery is draining so fast probably seen the new app. It keeps the roam alive in a state of playing without playing music.. 

Previously, when I first received my beam and installed, the app is able to detect and do an update. Now the app could not detect my device anymore for future updates. Anyone have this issue?

Cannot get the BBC sounds service to appear as available to me. I am based in uk? Is this something to do with the new app? 

in the new app it seems that it is not possible to add directly songs to my Tidal/Spotify app. And also it si not possible to create new playlist in my Tidal/Spotify app. With the old app it was veru eady to do this. Please help.

After yesterday's update, I cannot play any if my usual radio stations

Since the update to the app I am unable to add Rayo back. I just keep getting Something went wrong when trying to add the service. I have been able to add others without issue.

10 years I have had this system no problem's ever, till the new App.  My speakers are now bookends. I planed on buying more and upgrading but not from Sonos. Moderator Edit: We do not allow users to offer or sell any products (Sonos or third party). Is anyone else having problems with the new app? Found mine to be auto updated this morning & i can't get it working at all! Doesn't connect with my speaker, grrrr

As of 11th May 2024 - My system has just stopped working on all 3 of my devises which must be to do with the App update ? cant update the App on my iMac Cant play music any music on my iPhone and iPad - whats going on?

New App refusing to find my products Not Connected message everytime.Spoke to the Sonos help desk They got me to reset my network connection on my iPhone. This worked but now the only way to get the app working is to turn off the network connection on my phone and turn it back on.Old ‘brown’app working perfectly on another phone. Ditto the old app on my iMac.I’ve resorted to using a third party app which works first time .

The key function to most people (Alarm) is missing in SONOS current non-beta update. 80.00… !!!!This calls for roll back of the update ASAP.What are SONOS doing ????????

Since the app update I have lost all abilities to control my speakers. Android build number AP1A.240405.002Old app worked, new one doesn't - nothing else changed.
