Several issues with my Sonos today, I’ve 2 Play:3 and a Playbar on the Sonos S2 app and tried to play some music - didn’t matter which service I used Amazon Music or YouTube Music both returned the same error that music couldn’t ne added to the queue when I tried to play, also had an intermittent 701 error.Tried to run the Sonos update got the 1101 error.Uninstalled the Sonos app on all devices and factory reset all Sonos devices - in order to start the set-up from scratch.Create a new Sonos network - same error on Amazon Music and when trying to update the system, can’t even add YouTube Music now.Can use it with the TV (including with the Play:3’s as surrounds) have had it play Sonos Radio (although that’s of no interest to me) - but am finding it really frustrating that it doesn’t seem to work with the main music providers at the minute.Anyone else having issues or encountered this problem?
I just added YouTube music as a service. When I search an artist, YouTube Music is not an option. When I click through the YTM service, the only option I have is my playlists. How do I configure it so it shows up in artist searches, shows “new Releases”, etc? Anyone else have the problem or better yet, a fix to get it fully integrated? Sonos S2.
Amazon Prime (not Premium) music has just been added to my Sonos. Whenever I select anything to play within the Sonos app I get the message “ Go Unlimited. Listen to this music and tens of millions more....” Following this link takes me to a Premium purchase page. I just want my regular Prime music to workI have tried removing and re-adding the service three times now Thx
HiI split my sonos system in 2.So I now have 2 sonos5 gen1 devices on one s1 app and all the gen2 devices on the s2 app.All good until I try to add music services to the S1 app.Tried to add Amazon and mixcloud. Both services claim to be added succesfully until you return to Sonos S1 app where it indicates that the addition failed. For mixcloud I tried a different account from my s2 account. That also failed. Is it an S1 issue ? Any suggestions on how to resolve.
Hello,I know that CR200 support is limited at best, and I understand that the older device is probably quite limited in terms of program storage space. But now that Google Play Music is dead (RIP) I am very hopeful that you can reclaim some of that program space to fix Youtube Music support.Because today, on my CR200’s, all I see when I select Youtube Music is “Unable to browse music.”
In the past week I have started having issues with YouTube Music where I will select a track under an artist, but it won’t let me add it to the queue and it won’t let me skip/scrub - it just plays without making any changes to the queue. It’s also happened when I’ve tried to play a full album, and will just loop one track continuously while scrubbing and skip/back are not available. iOS 14.2.1
Couple issues. The biggest one is updating my Sonos music library to match iTunes library. Just purchased couple things from iTunes. Did an “Update Music Library” in Sonos - it took a long time to index (only added one album), but when it finished, I can’t find the artist, album anywhere in Sonos library. HELP???One other issue. There are times that I’ve gotten new music and it catalogued perfectly by artist in iTunes but doesn’t show up in Sonos music library by that artist. I’ve usually been able to locate it by looking through albums, compilations, songs, contributing artist, composing artist or sometimes even genre. I’ve never understood why Sonos doesn’t always mirror iTunes library. Any idea why this is?
I have used Sonos for several years on 2 locations on 4 different devices and 2 different accounts with no problems together with the danish YouSee-Music streaming service.Suddenly the music stopped and could not be started again.Sonos apps claims that there is no connection to YouSee no matter which account i try. Sonos apps claims, that it cant connect to YouSee and verify accounts. Sonos app says, that I should contact YouSee. Other streaming-services works fine.YouSee says, that it is a Sonos-problem. I can log in and out on YouSee and play music on the YouSee app on the 2 iPhones and on my MacBook Pro with the accounts Sonos cant reachI have afterwords updated the apps on 2 iPhones, 1 iPad and 1 MacBook Pro to Sonos S2 with same result. My conclusion is, that Sonos suddenly from this afternoon won´t communicate with YouSeePlease advice. Best regardsPoul Erik
I’m probably in the minority and just started trying Spotify Premium with a free trial. I currently use Tidal, so I’m trying to figure out how people use Spotify with SONOS. Here’s an example: I’m listening to Tidal and at the top of the hour, go to my radio station to hear the news, then switch back to Tidal when the news is over. All in one app (the SONOS app). With Spotify, I have to open Spotify, start music, then open SONOS to switch to news (which automatically overrides Spotify). Then I have to go back to Spotify, tell it to “forget” my SONOS room, because no sound is coming out, and relink it back to SONOS.Just seems like a pain to switch sources. Why would SONOS allow an app to bypass there app? Seems like Spotify is taking control of the user interface (grouping, connecting, volume), bypassing SONOS. Almost like a power play where one day Spotify will simply connect to multiple devices, some SONOS some not.
Keep getting error saying we have encountered an error when trying to play Apple playlist, everything else plays, ie artist, albums but not playlist, was working fine yesterday am the issue started pm and is same today, I have removed and re-added Apple Music and restarted my phone, problem persists
I have changed my music service provider from Deezer to Spotify. When I then use my Sonos system with a playlist I generated on Sonos which has songs added from the old Deezer account to the playlist now won’t play. So question is … is there anyway of updating the playlist so it looks at same song but from my new Spotify account?
All of a sudden this morning my Sonos Radio Stations won’t work. Reset my router. All other service’s work on Sonos - Apple Music and Radio, and TineIn (which is new to pop up on my menu). But cannot connect or play Sonos Radio! Non of the stations work. Cruise control was my go to. What to do. ? did submit a diagnostic report. 1508963402
Today just out off the blue music stopped playing and since then neither me nor my wife can access our yousee music account through sonos. It keeps saying that I cannot browse the music. Yousee music app works fine though. I removed my sonos account from the app and put it back. I removed my yousee account from there and when trying to add it back it said the yousee server doesn't recognise my login information and I should contact yousee. I changed my yousee login in their own app and it works fine as before. I tried to add it again to sonos with the new password and it still says it cannot be recognised and I should contact yousee. I'm in doubt there's anything wrong at yousee, since my password works fine in their own music app. It's also extremely strange that both mine and my wife's accounts stopped working on sonos at the same time. Can you help? BR Petr
All system checks, rebbot, re-connect has been perforemed over and over again. I have a rock solid wifi system and everything worked seamless. Until the app was updated. Running the latest IOS and SONOS software. Whats wrong with the new app. The whole system is just annoying. The only way to use the system is by airplay.

I then select My Music Folder, enter the Admin Password and select Next.I then get an error message: “Unable to add the
Hi All,I’ve upgraded to MacOS Big Sur → now unable to play podcasts via Sono S1. Been on the phone with Sonos Support case number 02288114 for 50mins, very very unhelpful.Mac have split iTunes into Music/PodCasts/TV. Seems Sonos haven’t tested S1 Controller with Mac Big Sur. The Podcasts are now stored in a cache folder, rather than iTunes..Sonos view is, this is Mac & my issue not Sono.. Very unhelpfulStay safeR
