Controllers and Music services

This is not a full windows 8 platform but will work new surface tablet and Samsung and others plan to use this OS which is not fully windows 8 compatible. It would be very helpful if sonos would support this as the tablet looks promising.

Ability to support association with devices running an iOS VPN.

I really like my Echo but it is limited - needs more apps.... I really, really hope (really, really, really) a Sonos app becomes available for the Echo - I would add another one no problem. I love my Sonos - and normally I dislike voice control but Echo is far superior to others. So let's keep our fingers crossed.

I had just been getting a few iPod gen 2s specifically to use as Sonos controllers. I'd got two of them in, and installed the old app before the new App came out yesterday. Unfortunately I hadn't yet downloaded the old app to the third before it was updated yesterday. The new app reports as not compatible with my third Gen2. How can I get the old one & install it?

Got really excited when I saw support for multiple..... thinking it would be music libraries. But no, the system still can't handle multiple users / music libraries, and STILL doesn't search Contributing Artists (unlike Andronos on Android and SonoPad / Sonophone on iPad and iPhone. C'mob Sonos, get it sorted. Really and truthfully, how hard can it be?

Quite simple, lets get some numbers on all the chatter thats flying around. In order that Sonos can gauge some meaningful feedback please reply to this thread with your supporting opinions for your choice. I voted NO as I believe the perception that has been given and supported is that we, the users, will get our idea's turned into tweaks/new features/upgrades etc. through the Sound Idea's forum. Given that the fact that the last two updates have had very few changes to the system (i.e. Not new services) I fear that the focus on this may have drifted. I understand the current world economic situation means that luxury products suchs as Sonos will be put aside for essential purchase and that Sonos will and must look to increase it's user base to survive doesnt mean that we, as existing users cannot express our dissapointment at this shift. does anybody know a program that extracts the cover image(s) out of mp3s? I tagged my whole mp3 collection with all the covers within iTunes. Most of them where drag/dropped directly from the webbrowser (images.google.com); so no separate images have been saved. now I would like to have the covers also as separate jpg, gif or whatever is emedded in the mp3 files.
