Controllers and Music services

I tried to fix this a couple of years ago but was never successful. I've tried all the suggestions I see on line. Please advise how to overcome this irritating problem!

I messaged Sonos like a year and those ******** never got back to me they need to let their costumers they need to let their costumers lost their stations alphabetically to make it easier to find stations

I love your product but hate that I can't airplay my Mac to it. Now I have to have a second set of speakers in my office

Hi all, I am a new owner of a SONOS system and was disappointed to learn that it is not possible to use the music library as a source for alarms. It appears to be restricted to music services and playlists. If you want to play an album for an alarm, you need to create a playlist from it first. This seems unnecessarily limiting, so I am requesting a feature update for the next release to enable the library to be used as a source in the alarm as well. Please share / comment to promote this (this is what the tech support suggested I do when I asked them about it) Marc

I have just received my 2 envelopes and labels for my 2 CR100s. Do you want the cradles and power supplies as well, or just the controllers ? The labels are for DHL. Will you be arranging a pickup, or do I do that ?

Hi Sonos, love the speakers love the sound love the design, great great product, but you need to get your UI/UX folks in a room and seriously take a look at the iOS app experience, it is very poor, the cognitive dissonance, just the sheer difficulty in achieving any simple task. On any screen there are multiple touch points that slide screens in and out , up and down with little or no intuitive reasoning. Please take a step back, take a look, then redesign from the ground up.

How do I delete duplicate imported playlists?

Is there any way to add a picture to an album or station that is missing the pictures? I have some that I have manually uploaded to amazon music that are missing the album art and I'd like to add it. Same with the pandora stations.

Is the Windows desktop software going the (tragic) way of the mobile app? Or does the latest upgrade leave the UI alone? I can't stand the new app, and have postponed updating my Windows Controller to avoid further annoyance.

Hi, is there a way to view my Spotify playlists in Sonos with the newest additions at the top rather than at the bottom of the listing. I have large Spotify playlists and when viewed in Sonos I have to scroll down a long long way to see my newest track additions. If my network is slow this issue is also compounded in that the lower down tracks don't appear for quite some seconds which is further frustrating. I more often like to play my most current tracks (new additions) than a track I added 2 or 3 years ago. A button to reverse / toggle the playlist order (show newest / oldest first) would be really welcomed if none exists currently. If this doesn't exist maybe Sonos could consider it / add to a wishlist. Thank you.

I’ve set up alarms deleted and recreated alarms to occur on either of my 3 speakers but I keep getting an error stating ‘No alarm is playing’. I’ve checked WiFi network and rebooted all but still no joy. Any ideas?

I don't know about anyone else, but I struggle to get out of bed in the morning! I'd love a feature which enables me to ONLY be able to turn the alarm off by pressing the Play button on the speaker as opposed to my phone. Alternatively, and perhaps much better for me, only being able to turn off the alarm by pressing the Play button on another selected speaker. For example, Alarm set in Bedroom 1 for 8am, alarm goes off and can only be deactivated by pressing the Play button on the living room play at - this getting me out of bed! Thoughts? Ben

It used to just be ugly, but now the desktop apps are falling behind in functionality (for example the Sonos favourites). Just wanted to let somebody at Sonos know that some people aren't completely converted to controlling everything from their phones and would like the desktop apps to keep up (surely it's their turn now).

The server stack error keeps happening on a Windows 8.1 microsoft surface pro despite applying all of the fixes listed under http://faq.sonos.com/serverstack. Cannot add music library from this machine, but Windows 7 machine works fine. Diagnostic confirmation # 4008523

Since yesterday, ganna+ account not getting autjorized through sonos app on android ...tried removing app and adding it again...removed ganna+ from services list, however, no luck. Tried feom different phone...no luck...pls help

So I'm embracing the fact that the CR100 controller is coming to the end of its life and thought I'd turn it off and remove the cradle/charger from the wall. It's that many years since I mounted the cradle on the wall though, that I can't recall how it clips/unclips from the backing plate. Don't really want to just tug at it! Any suggestions please?

Hi, I am posting this in the forum because I have the large hope that somebody from Sonos will read this and perhaps forward it to the development department or to a manager who has some influence in future sonos developments. I spent quite some time and put lots of energy into this topic, so I hope my message will somehow find its way to sonos management. The reason for this post is that I really wish there would be a hardware RF remote control with physical buttons to control Sonos Speakers. It is so so very annoying to have to 1. Clean not only one but all of your finger/hands if they are dirty - for example when working in the kitchen 2. Pick up your mobile phone or tablet from the table 3. Unlock your phone (very annoying and cannot disable if using my mobile with an exchange account from work, which automatically enables locking) 4. Search for and then Open the Sonos App 5. Control the App with your fingers every single time .. for such a simple task as changing the volume o

Since I updated my play5 to 8.4 my Danish Radioplay dosen't function any more Is there a solution for this

Battery life on my iPhone is drastically shorter than before. Checked the usage and Sonos is by far the biggest juice consumer, typically 28% of total consumption. Want a quick fix!

Is there an option to rename an existing Sonos playlist? 

I recently got a new iPhone 8. Now my Sonos system frequently “skips” a song or stops midway through a song and goes to the next one. It never did that before. I have updated to the newest Sonos software as well. This only happens when playing from my playlist. Suggestions?
