Hi,Recently, Spotify has started the service in Korea. I also have became Spotify users a few weeks ago. However, I am not able to find Spotify in Sonos app yet. I wonder that when Sonos support Spotify in Sonos app so that Korean users can add to music service. I really want to use Spotify with Sonos. Please check out the time when Spotify will be added. Thanks.
According to support.sonos.com, in the ‘My Music’ tab of the Sonos app you can “Listen to all the music you already own and love, and browse over 30 million songs in the Apple Music catalog.” I am yet to figure out how you can ‘browse’ the Apple Music catalogue (short of downloading them all into your own library beforehand!). Does anybody know how this is possible? Thanks.
Hello, Opened my sonos controller app and Google play is no longer available. Is this the case?I have playbar and play 3 speakers.
Anyone know why, after I hide the “Recently Played” section in my app it will reappear a few days later? (Likewise, sometimes the My Sonos items get re-arranged). You’d think these settings would be stored to remain consistent and to be re-applied after any major app updated. Anyone else see this?Any ideas?
In Big Sur, the’ve eliminated “Power Saver” settings, replacing them with “Battery”. “Battery” doesn’t have the option to keep hard disks awake. Even with my Mac set to not sleep, it still sleeps, and can’t play music I have stored on my Mac. Anyone else experiencing this, or have a solution?
I just signed up for the Sonos Radio HD service. When I go to browse the Sonos Radio music service there has been no change and I can't see any of the HD radio stations. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My whole system has been upgraded to S2 and my Sonos account is based in the UK. Thanks.
I just can’t find the answer to this anywhere: Does the Sonos One (Gen 1) support Airplay 2?
When I use Android Sonos Controller to play music using 'On this Mobile Device' album tracks appear in the wrong order (see below). The album starts with track 1 then moves to track 10, 11,12 etc. until the end of the album before returning to tack 2? My large music collection was transferred to my phone from my iTunes folder using the iSyncr app. None of these errors exist in either iTunes or Poweramp app (populated from the iSyncr folder on my phone) Other anomalies appear with double albums and splitting errors are common, again, these errors do not appear anywhere else (see below) Can anyone explain - in the simplest way possible - why this is happening?
Is it possible to connect SONOS to more than one Spotify account?I use Spotify for streaming music and have my Spotify account connected to my SONOS system. But when my wife logs in to SONOS from her phone or laptop, it connects to MY Spotify account. Is it possible for SONOS to connect to HER Spotify account on her phone/laptop so she can have access to her own playlists instead of having to play off mine?
Feature Request: Display the list of playlists in music services’ Libraries alphabetically. There currently is no way to change the display order of music playlists (for Spotify and Youtube Music, at least). That’s pretty terrible - the SMAPI spec does not require any particular ordering from the service, nor does it allow the app to specify an order, so it’s basically luck of the draw. I expect some services to return data alphabetically, others by most recently or frequently played, yet others completely unsorted (“hash order”, as it were). For search results, I expect Sonos to respect the returned order, assuming that the service will be attempting to return the best match first. For a generic getMetadata response, the expectation is clearly invalid, and, consistency between services aside, it’s a terrible browsing experience. The SMAPI spec doesn’t support additional data such as recency or play count, so sorting by those in the app isn’t an option. Fine. But “alphabetically by title”
Dear SONOS,I have a ton of spurious repeated playlists labelled as “Internal error - Invalid Atom” which I need to delete from the third panel window section, under the Imported Playlists panel. Also, my “TOP RATED” iTunes playlist doesn’t sync to the SONOS One Desktop nor my iPhone Music Library Listing ??? There appears to be major problems with syncing an accurate copy of my iTunes Playlist(s) to SONOS.This is crazy,….. this has been a systemic problem for years now which hasn’t been seriously addressed by SONOS, to my knowledge. Why is this so difficult SONOS ? Here’s your chance to fix this issue. My faith in SONOS is being challenged right now after investing $1,000’s in my SONOS system.I am also having major WiFI Stability issues with speakers dropping in & out regularly. Best regards,Chris.
How do I listen to Radio-Canada's Ici Musique?TuneIn won't work and it's not listed in Sonos' radio choices. It’s a Canadian public broadcaster French-language station, which plays great stuff. It’s sister network (English-Language) CBC Radio & Music is offered but not Ici Musique or Radio-Canada!I’d love to see it listed in the choices
Is there no landscape mode for sonos S1 iPhone app?
Hi,when I use my Sonos One alarm I receive a notification on the screen of my iPhone XS (iOS 13.6.1). I then use 3D touch to be given the option to snooze. When I select snooze I get an alert to say “No alarm is playing” and can’t then snooze the alarm without opening Sonos App stopping the music and setting another alarm. It’s the same whether using music, radio or the Sonos chime options for the source.Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.
Please, without delay, add immediately to S1 & S2, the name of the playlist that is currently in queue. This would help a lot when searching a multitude of playlists. This should be a simple fix.
Exactly what it says. We don’t have any “old” S1 devices connected. We have 9 zones, and they all show up on our iPhone Sonos controller app (the gold icon, S2 app), but 2 of them do not show up on the macOS app. It happens that the 2 that are missing are the first 2 alphabetically but not sure that has to do with anything. Yes, I have rebooted _everything_ repeatedly, before you ask. Sonos used to work amazing with no problems. We had over 10 zones including 2 playbars, 2 subs, 4 play 3’s, 3 play 1’s and 2 play 5’s. We got rid of 2 of them because they were “old” S1 devices. Our house has Google Wifi mesh networking. And we have the Boost. This is just so frustrating that you are always messing with everything, and now it’s messed up. I’m on macOS 10.15.7. Please don’t say to upgrade to Big Sur b/c I’m not ready to do that yet.
Whenever a song plays where there is a main artist and a featured artist (example: Megan tha Stallion ft Beyonce) then Sonos doesn't show the featured artist. It only shows Megan's name. Source is YouTube music. Also, i have the old playbar with sub and surrounds (play 1s).. whenever TV is the source and i decide to pause TV and play music via the playbar and surround system... Music plays as expected. But when I press play on TV.. the TV sound doesn't come through. I have TV autoplay toggled on so TV should override the music but it never does in this scenario.Yet the missing featured artist bugs me most. I keeps on having to google or open the YouTube music app to find out who is featured.
I’m new to having Sonos and am setting up my TV stereo after I got a bass box from my dad, which he doesn’t use anymore. Got two One SL and am considering which soundbar to get. However, I’m already frustrated by the software interface, which I simply find lacking and being non intuitive compared to the quality of the sound. Maybe it is because I am generally not using streaming services and have connected a library with the music from my laptop? Help is of course appreciated if there are solutions to these issues:The app on the phone somehow wants to only play one or two songs at a time. No explanation why or any obvious reason why it does this. Took ages to add YouTube to the list of services and have no way of searching for music and playing it. Personally I don’t really use YouTube, but when people come by and want to play something they particularly like, it’s a little embarrassing having to get my old portable Bose speakers, simply because we’re unable to play anything new from Yo
Hello, I was reading on the forum, if I understood correctly: You can only set one Sonos account as admin Other Sonos account may join the system but with limited functionalities It is possible to add different accounts for one service (I.e. Spotify) to manage “different users” through one admin account. So, in conclusion, it is not possible to set several Sonos accounts as admin in a Sonos system. Did i understand it correctly, please? Thank you !
The transfer from Google Play Music to You Tube Music has been pretty unsatisfactory, particularly as far as user’s own uploaded libraries are concerned. Until a few days ago under Library/Albums just a few albums used to show up under the Uploads heading (in my case only as far as the A’s). Today, under Library/Albums, the Uploads tab seems to have disappeared completely which makes finding stuff very problematic. What is going on?
Hello,I would really appreciate some help with this….I have a Play 1 and a Connect Amp.I have a large library of music of my own on iTunes. Previously, I used the ‘play from this device’ to play this music from my iPad. When this disappeared I moved everything to GooglePlay and it worked fine. When I was told that this was going as well I was told to move everything to Youtube. I made the transfer and all was ok.This weekend I went to play an album and found that all that is stored on my Youtube account is a few playlists-none of my other music at all. I went back to Googleplay (but of course I cannot see what is actually there anymore) and requested to transfer my library again. Transfer complete, but the same playlists remain with no other music.I want to play my music from my iPad through Sonos. I do not want to have to pay a subscription to a music service. Apparently my devices cannot connect through airplay and so I am seemingly stuck without a solution. Can anyone suggest a free
I have a large (>65.000 which seem to be the limit) library of mp3 & FLAC music, that I want to stream to my various Sonos units. The library is sorted A-Z, and I don’t want anything to crawl around and try to map the music, creating playlists and that sort of thing. I just want to go down the file structure, choose my album and stream it. Nothing else.If I do this on a PC, it works fine, no problems. But in this day & time, it would be convenient to do it on my IPhone, pref. using an app. Just like I do when playing Spotify or web-radio. And this is where I hev a problem - I cannot find any app that can do this.Either they want to create & download playlists, album art, etc. (Sonos, Plex, and others), or they do what I want (DLNA Player, zcloud, FLACbox etc. apps) but I can only direct the music to one (1) speaker. Where I want to hear the music on my Port, my Sonos One, Move, five, etc. simultaneously. Does anyone have a good idea on how to play a big collection of mp3
Hi,about three years ago, there was this big update, that gave the Sonos App it’s current black/white design. And with this update, a little but really reasonable new feature which had been integrated just a couple of month before, unfortunately disappeared again. Since then i filled in many opinion surveys and emphasized this, but I don’t think anyone’s listening. That new little feature was a little gearwheel icon in that main window where you could see all your rooms, that opened up a PopUp window with a direct shortcut to the “Room Settings” of that certain room.I like the logical structure of the Sonos App but find it somehow unnecessary to need up to 5 clicks to reach the room settings everytime - and I really do feel the need to adjust the Sub or Surround levels almost everytime I change the content on TV.The fact that you took away something that we already had frustrates me most. Does anyone remember this?It doesn’t have to be that gearwheel icon again. I for instance don’t nee
I purchases a classical concerto album from itunes that has 7 tracks - the first concerto has 4 tracks, and the second concerto has 3. When I update my music library on Sonos, I get 4 tracks: movements 1, 2 & 4 of the first concerto, and movement 3 from the second. From reading the support topics, it looks like either the whole album gets imported, or none of it does. How can I get all seven tracks into Sonos?
So I updated my Sonos app to S1 this morning and then my speakers. At the end of the update all my speakers were showing. Went to play some music and all grouped except my play:5 (1st gen). Went to go add the play:5 again to the group and it was gone. Play:5 just showing a white light. Restarted the play:5 and still won’t add. Factory reset the play:5 and added it again, it showed up! Went to play some music and it disappeared again. Restarted my WiFi just in case. All work fine except this play:5. Annoying thing is it was working fine this morning before the S1 update :(
