I’ve had a Sonos Connect on my S2 app for about a year. Suddenly it has disappeared. I’ve tried the “find missing devices”, updating S2, plugging the connect into an Ethernet cable and updated the connect.  It functions correctly  on Ethernet, and it will go through the setup process on WiFi successfully but it never appears in my system on S2. Any ideas?  I have an ASUS mesh router

So I tell Sonos Alexa to play a SiriusXM channel for me today and am suddenly told that she can’t do that and to check my account for instructions on how to link my account with Sirius.  This had been working fine for a few months! Bonus:  My Sonos phone app doesn’t work anymore either.  When I go to SETTINGS, the “Account”, “System”, and “Services & Voice” menu options are greyed-out and unclickable.  So I can’t actually do ANYTHING with this buggy speaker.  This is beyond ridiculous. I now own a $250 paperweight.

Hi,I have a Beam, 2 x One and Sub plus a Roam grouped. If I am watching Sky Q but then decide to play a track on Spotify via my iPhone connected to the grouped devices and then stop the track to return to Sky Q programme I lose the sound? The only way I can get audio to return to Sky Q is by powering TV off. Is there a more graceful way of doing this? I expected it to happen automatically with having to power TV on and off. Thanks in advance. 

Sonos has stopped connecting to Sirius this morning.  Been working fine until this morning.  Alarms failed to start. Unable to connect manually.  Message:“Unable tp play the radio station”Sonos system and app updated to 13.4.1Diagnostic # 1546886573

So I’ve just bought a new LG OLEDC155 TV along with a Sonos Beam gen 2. I get sound from watching live tv but when I play anything at all from my Apple TV 4K there’s absolutely no sound at all. Any help appreciated. 

Ongoing, various issues with these two plugged speakers, which are part of an 11 device Sonos system.When I group them (daily, morning routine) randomly, but frequently, the Move can't be found ("Try later") or if they do group, volume is unresponsive on the Move. I have to use manual adjustment.I have had related issues with accessing the Roam or finding features like volume unavailable.Often Find Missing Products helps, and i have to power off/power on, etc. Router reset seems to help but, with 5 family members, is a hassle.Then the problem(s) return. Any ideas?

I have a Tidal subscription and a number of Tidal songs on my Sonos playlists. As of a couple of days ago, I cannot play any Tidal songs from playlists - I get the error ‘song not encoded correctly’.The same issue has been raised by some people on the forum, as early as four years ago. Some seem to have been due to router issues, but some were due to issues on Tidal’s end. My problem seems to have coincided with Tidal recently allowing Hi-fi quality on a regular subscription. Has anybody else experienced the same problem? My diagnostic is 1444797406.

I have a sonos ZP and a Player 5 (1st Gen) in one room connected to a TP-Link router. In another room I have a Sonos One connected to a second TP Link router. Both routers are connected via ethernet and the one in the Sonos One room serves as an Access Point with no DHCP.  The issue is that the Sonos One keeps disappearing from the system. I have ‘cold’ reset it many times, but it keeps dropping out. The second issue is that whenever I play audio it keeps dropping in and out. Especially when I group all the speakers through the Sonos One. I recently gave it a static IP and it seems to have helped some with the first issue, but the second issue persists. I just submitted a diagnostics report #1031527086Hopefully someone can help since I am loosing my sanity over this.

i have set up a system at a customers house fitted kit 6 sonos amps 3 subs gen3  2 play bars now everything works great apart from 1 sub it appears on the app room however it will not play any audio wifi is good in said room unifi nano hd’s are the wifi points. im sure its a firmware problem and from what i have read its been going on for sometime with no fix from sonos. there not cheap and we all expect them to work as they should.  

Hi all,With the new firmware 13.4, I try to configure DTS with my PS4 and my sonos ARC.I have a TV Samsung with eARC, and my PS4 is connect to my TV with HMDI.on my PS4, “audio outpout setting” is on “bitstream DTS”, my TV is configure on “passthrough”, but ma Sonos app display “Dolby PCM multicanal”. So, it’s possible to have DTS with PS4 with the new firmware ?could you help me ? :)

I use S1 with a Connect on the same network where I have multiple other devices running S2. It’s always worked fine. Today the S1 app was not connecting and seemed to not even know my ID. I logged out and logged back in and then it told me to use S2. Of course the S2 does not work with the Connect so I factory reset the Connect, reinstalled the S1 app and tried to connect the Connect. No dice. Tried everything and finally had to dig it out of its location and plug it hard into the router. Got it set up but the S1 app was acting weird and would log into my account but then lose connection with the Connect. Then it would say “we found Connect” and I’d click on it but have to log into my account all over again. THEN all of my services were gone so I added them back and it said “oh we found them!” one by one. Sheesh I did all of this but it would not play. Seemed to be lost trying to find the Connect and my account. I was 90 minutes in at this point. THEN…… It told me I needed to start usi

I had my Sonos music library setup on a USB stick in my WiFi router. All has been working fine, including playing songs from that USB source and running regular updates of the music library (re-indexing). Now I'm getting this error when trying to update the music library:  Music files not available[usb location on router] is no longer available. The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on, or the path may have changed. Go to Settings > System > Music Library Setup to check the path.Even after this mesage was displayed, Sonos could play songs from the USB drive (i.e. from the existing music library) absolutely fine, so the potential issues mentioned in the message don’t apply; it was just the music library update that stopped working. I am recapping my ZP90 at 12 years old. The caps mostly appear good, apart from the 1800uF on the 3.3V supply, which has a bulging top. I think its testamount to a good design that these units last this long. I leave mine switchedd on all the time, with 230V nominal mains.These are the main capacitors, all originally by Jamicon, to consider replacing. They should be replaced with parts with same or better ripple current, life hours, and similar ESR. I avoided organic polymer etc, which might seem an upgrade, but which could lead to loop instabilities. My cap choices were rather limited by stocks.400V 22uF main reservoir. 20mm long maximum. I can manage my system with an iphone.  If I try to manage it with an ipad, either the system is not found or the Move is shown as the only device.  I have deleted & re-installed sonos app on the ipad to no effect. Any ideas?

My Connect:Amp has disappeared from my SONOS app. I also have a PLAY:1 and PLAY:3 and both show and work.All were bought new and installed when I moved to a new home 5 years ago and have worked perfectly until now.I’ve tried powering the amp off and then back on, but it just doesn’t appear. The network hasn’t changed.I’m sure to be doing something wrong, or missing a trick but would appreciate some tips please. I haven’t found anything here that has helped so far.

Not sure how to get it in Safari on a Mac.  The previous one I got from the forum does not want to work anymore.  Seems like SABS keeps on changing the streaming URL.Thanks

I have a Beam and a one that are 2 years old not working well with Sonos app.  Should I be using S1 or S2 app? Should I have the original Sonos app & S2 loaded or just S2? My problem is the sound fades in and out and Alexa drops off. I use it with a Sony android smart TV. 

Within the last couple of months, Sonos will randomly say “Something went wrong, please try again later” at max volume and always very early in the morning, usually between 4-7am. We don’t use any voice assistance on Sonos, and we never play anything at max volume, so the fact it plays the warning that loud is strange. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

After 3 years, here I am once again with no Sub. Tryin’ to upgrde to S2 controller, I added my devices Playbar and Sub (new way to do it, not so intuitive, but that’s it). After that I connected the sub, it took about 10/15 minutes. Palybar+Sub are in the same room but, once again, Sub doesn’t work (no sound) neither in WiFi nor in Eth. No Boost at the time (do I really need one, with S1 all was perfect).1 hour to make work everything, but...no way to do it. For about 10/15 seconds Sub has started, but in the App I saw the “?”. When in the App I finally saw the Sub...no sound from it. Modem AVM 7590 and repeater 1750, will try again and, eventually I must use the Boost.

Hi alli know there are a number of queries on Connect dropping off a network and I have read the majority. Following advice I bought a Boost, set it up, I see all my speakers and the Connect have WM:0 against them….Connect still dropping off after a minute or 2. I have tried all 3 channels, 1 is the worst, 6 & 11 about the sameAm I looking at a faulty Connect?  

Hi all! This is a brief follow up to the above previous thread I started. The previous thread was marked as 'answered' and closed for further comment which is strange as it certainly wasn't answered! But good news, after 10 months of tantrums and frustration I finally cracked it! I wanted to post how I did because I'd say 95% of what fixed it was from other people's comments and help on the last thread. SO THANK ALL OF YOU SO MUCH! So my problem was an old house, giant thick walls, and my 11 or so speakers constantly cutting out and freezing. I had a netgear orbi mesh system. Now this mesh system was fantastic, but I couldn't get it to play ball with the speakers and the switch between them. Eventually I gave up on the orbi, and bought an Asus router that just manages to reach all the corners of my house. This helped a lot! But didn't fix it Someone recommended I got MANAGED switch, but this was actually making it worse (see below..) although the system wouldn't be much better with a d

Short Version:I have a great room with cathedral ceilings and a TV mounted above the fireplace. I’m planning to use the Sanus TV mount to put the Arc either above or below the TV. I’m worried below may be too warm with the fireplace on. Above may ruin the sound (which may be ruined by cathedral ceilings anyway). Thoughts? Long Version: Here is a pic of the room. Hi all,apologies in advance for the length of the post, just want to cover all I can to save on questions.I have looked over the forums and troubleshooting but can find a solution other than the usual “blame the users network” as the cause of the issue I will try and describe below. I am biased as I am a networker by trade but the answer of network fault makes no sense and I hope to explain why.Only in the last month or so when I add a song to a queue, that is already running, it misses any addition and continues on to the next song. If it was a network / connectivity issue it would do this to most if not all songs not just the ones I add to the list, the songs in the original queue don’t ever skip or fail to be played. This happens with different playlist queues and created for you playlists from Spotify, so random songs and queues from day to day but issue is consistent. In addition there are no error messages displayed, simply song added to queue shows when the song is dropped into
