S1 and S2 Not In Sync

I was finally able to get my S1 speakers working on the S1 app while also being  able to use the S2 app with newer equipment. Problem is they are not in sync- maybe 3 seconds apart. I have tried closing and restarting both apps and have tried different music services. Any advice?

The S1 and S2 apps aren’t designed to work together. They are two completely different Sonos systems.

Each Sonos system is separate from the other and controlled with a different app on your phone. Because of this, it’s not possible to group a product running S2 and a product running S1 together to play the same music.

And because they are apart they each have their own link to the internet or your music database - the reason they're out of sync. The app is only a remote to the system. Closing and restarting the app will not do anything for your problem.
