Just wondering if there are plans for this in the future, or are customer expected to only stick to one type of platform even if it doesn't do everything you need it too?

Hi. I've got my lovely new Play5 sitting on a hardwood floor. Will Trueplay compensate for this or should I raise the unit off the floor?

The PLAYBAR height is listed as 3.35" when laying flat. Is that the height from the mounting surface to the top, or just the thickness of the unit without the feet?

I have an Amazon Echo Dot and a Sonos system with multiple Connect:Amps. I have read about the Amazon Echo / Sonos integration that is coming, but every article I have seen so far only says that the Amazon Echo will integrate with Sonos speakers. My Sonos based system does not use any Sonos speakers. Does anyone know if the Amazon Echo will provide voice control for a Sonos system made up of Connect:Amps without any Sonos speakers?

I need longer power cords for two Play 3's in white. I can find 3' extensions to existing cords but I'd prefer not to go that route. I can find black power cords but white for some reason seems elusive. Any thoughts on where I can find them?

So, I spent an hour and 40m on Saturday morning on the phone to Sonos customer service and nothing was resolved before he hung up on me. I have just about calmed down 48 hours later but and extremely unhappy with this. I wonder if this is an easier and less unpleasant way to try to fix my system. I have had Sonos for 8 years now, have 4 old ZP100s, 2 ZP80s, 4 Play 1s and 1 Play 5. One of my ZP100s is wired into my router. I did have 2 bridges as well but the only thing that the hour and 40m did do on Saturday was remove these from my system as they seemed to be causing problems. However, my system is still dropping music (and not only music off the internet but music stored locally) and zones. I have had virtually no trouble until 4 or 5 months ago when my system has basically not been working at all. The one sensible thing the rude Sonos customer service man did tell me was that I may have an issue because the wireless signal in my house is distributed via a Powerline system of 4 plug

Does Sonos have plans to add Google Home to compatible services? I would love to talk to Google to turn on and control my household Sonos system.

I know this sounds an odd thing to do but I need to setup a SONOS without any internet connection. I have a Connect:amp with two wired speakers. I also have a 2tb headless unit to act as a server for music. In addition 2 x Play3 speakers. I plan to control this all using an Apple iPad. My question is this what do I need to connect them altogether. I do not intend using it for any streaming services but more as a jukebox, if that makes sense? Any help/advice is welcome.

I have an old Bose 3·2·1® GS home entertainment system and would like to use the speakers with my Play 5. Does anyone know if I can use the speakers that came with this system with a Connect AMP/Connect? My current set-up includes Play 5, using a Boost.

Hi I've got a playbar and two sonos play 1 speakers. One play1 is in the bedroom while the other one is in the kitchen/dinning room. The playbar is in the lounge. The kitchen/dinning/lounge is one large open space. How can I temporarily add the play1 from the bedroom to create a stereo system in the kitchen/dining area? How can I temporarily configure the two play1 as the surround speakers for the playbar? And how do you undo these changes?

I am building a three story home and would like in ceiling speakers in the following areas: Basement: Living room, bedroom #4, Bedroom #5 First Floor: (Living Room & Kitchen) , outside deck, and garage Second Floor: Master bedroom, Bedroom #3 and Bedroom #2 The goal is that each of these rooms could be playing different music controlled by an individual. I am thinking of Klipsch speakers. My questions: 1) Do each of the klipsch speakers need speaker wire ran to connect Amp? 2) How many connnect amps will I need? 3) Why would I need wall mounted audio controls installed? I've seen this recommended. 4) are the speakers connected to the cat5 cables? 5) If I have multiple connect amps, can i still control them from one app for the entire house? 6) I believe I run the speaker wires to the connect amp, and then ethernet cable from connect amp to the cable modem. Any help I can get, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi moved2 play 1's last night to use with a sound bar, when I've moved them back one of them won't reconnect back and the room name has disappeared just got a solid white light , how do I connect it back in?

I just purchased a Sonos Connect music streaming device yesterday and connected it to my 28 year old Sony GX60ES Receiver and I am thrilled with being able to stream all my music from my iPhone! It works extremely well! However, I have a few questions about my speaker set up with 4 speakers and whether or not I should keep the Sony GX60ES receiver or switch to a Sonos Connect AMP. Hi, I currently have a playbar and 2 play 1's for the sound on my tv, I was playing yesterday and in error managed to get the tv sound out of the play 1's and not the playbar. I have always believed that this is not possible and at the time the playbar was not connected to the router, so how did this happen?

I have wires set up for two outdoor speakers and 3 sonos play 1's that I would like to add to out exhisting sonos system. Our exhisting system has a sonos connect running an amp that conrols 6 sets of ceiling speakers and a radio. Can the sonos amp run two wired in speakers and three sonos play 1's? What specs on the speakers do I need to look for to be compatible with the sonos amp? Or what would I need to add two wired in speakers and three sonos play 1's to our exhisting system?

I have a question regarding how the connect:amp auto play feature works. Based on the user manual, it appears the amp will detect once Alexa is outputting audio. So for example, if streaming audio from within the sonos app and I said "Alexa what is the forecast", sonos streaming would stop and I would hear the forecast from Alexa. Can someone tell me what would happen after the forecast is complete? Would sonos streaming resume or would it be on pause? Thanks!

I've recently acquired an Audio Technica AT-LP120 turntable and am looking into connecting it to my Sonos system. I've scoured the forums and am pretty sure about the answer, but thought I'd double check with you guys. The turntable has a built-in preamp, so am I right in assuming that I can wire it to a Connect and stream it to my Sonos speakers without the need for a separate amplifier? There won't be any speakers wired directly to the turntable (I've already got a Connect:Amp wired to some Cambridge Audio floorstanders in the living room, but the boss won't allow a turntable in there!). Hi Im going away for the weekend to a cottage that has broadband but possibly not direct access to the router. I wish to take my play 1 pair plus sub. At home, my sub is bonded to connect amp. Can anyone please tell me the steps required for the play 1s and sub to work together at the cottage and also still integrate straight back into my existing setup when i return home? Thanks

Are there any significant differences between the First Generation Connect Amp and the current generation? I know that the first gen is a good deal larger than the current generation but I'm curious if there are any compatibility or software limitations with the current Amp being used on my new Sonos system. I realise this is a bit of an "old chestnut" topic, but thought my experience may be of interest to anyone going this route. Had a rather nice Xmas present of Sennheiser RS 175 wireless phones. These have a digital optical input (cable supplied) as well as the usual analog inputs. Wired this to my Sonos Connect optical output (the Connect is powering my conventional Hi Fi system) The result is very pleasing, works a treat with Sonos. The sound quality is all I could wish for & the range seems more than adequate for our 3 bed house.

I'm connecting a 3rd party communication controller to my Sonos system to use a door chime and paging feature.  This device has an RCA analog output that I connected to the line in on one of my  connects.  When the door bell is pressed the Sonos goes to the line in and plays the chime.  Would it be possible to select multiple rooms for the auto play instead of only one.  I know you can group rooms together and allow for groups in the auto play but that is not a fixed setting as the customer will change the group setting. I have done a work around for some rooms by using a 1 in 4 out analog audio amp and connected the comm controller to 4 Sonos connects.  This helps but I have a few connects that are in a different location that I can't get a wire to.  Also it would be nice to have the Sonos connect jump back to previous source with a 10 or 20 delay after the auto play source is off.  The way it is now if the doorbell rings the music stops to play

I have the Marantz NR 1605 and just got a Sonos Connect so I can stream through the surround sound speakers. I have tried using the Analog Out from the Connect into the CD analog slot. I have also connected the Digital Audio cable from the Connect to the Marantz. I have configured the Marantz (I think) so that the the Digital Audio is for the "CD" and also have the Analog 3 for the CD (which is supposed to be the default). Nothing seems to be working.
