Let's talk about Sonos Connect, Connect:AMP, Sonos AMP, and setups using Sonance architectural, or your own speakers and components.

Looking to label my Amps as I will have a centralized stack. Can I put magnet stickers on them or will that impact something internal? Sorry for ignorance.
My B&W AM1 speakers have started to ‘crackle’, is it likely the Sonos Amp has overpowered them and blown the drivers? Thanks
Hi all,I currently have 2x sonos 5s, 2x sonos ones and a sub in my living room. I can only use them to play music at the moment because they are connected to a soundbar or amp. Is it possible to get a Beam gen2 and then connect all the speakers to the tv? So basically the Beam would need to act as a center speaker. I have a fairly large living area (10m x 5m with 4m+ ceilings) so only a beam (or even arc) with 2 rears wouldn’t do the trick.
I have an old Quad 33/303 set up that I love and works very nicely with my turntable and Sonos Port as sources. It has a line-level output that I connect to the Port’s Line In so that I can listen to the Turntable in other zones. However, I have to turn the volume up on the other zones WAY higher than from other sources. The 33/303 Line Level output is adjustable, and I’ve set it to it’s max (“H” in the table below). The Port’s input settings are set to 1 (low) and it’s still too quiet. Not distorted, but just too low. What are the actual line-in sensitivity levels of the Port? I can in theory change the component values in the 33/303 to output more than 100mV, but I’d like to know what the Port’s inputs are in order to choose correct values.
Hey, I know there were a couple of posts saying that this had now been fixed in a firmware upgrade. My system is fully up to date But I cannot get my Sony Bluetooth turntable to connect to my era 300s. Am I missing something? Do I have to do something manually to upgrade? All I get told is that my system is up to date.
existe-t-il un microphone pour un chanteur que je pourrais installer sur système Sonos merci
I have dropped my Sonos ERA 300 to the floor and the back cover has fractured, I want to know two things, are there any tool or program that I can try to know if this hit cause problems of the sound? and do you know sopport service in latin america?
I have Sonos everywhere in the house and one room has an old Bose lifestyle surround sound system with 5 speakers and sub. I have a Sonos port and if I turn the Bose on, change to the right input, I can play Sonos. but it’s the only room in the house that doesn’t just turn on. I have to go into the room and turn on the Bose system first with the remote, wait for it to boot up, then switch the input. it’s a hassle. Anyone know of a better way if I keep the Bose?
Hello guys,I would like to ask you I have a el. guitar and I wanna play backing track. So I need to put guitar tu input and play background music from mobile. Is this possible with sonos amp current gen.? Thank you for your helpJK

TIA Steve By the way I took some advice from this site about adding rear speakers to my Arc and I picked up a pair of Play 3’s on stands for £150. Wow do they make a difference to the sound. Sub next
I have a Sonos system, Era300 and Era100 speakers, and I have a Sony LX310BT vinyl turntable.Everything was working perfectly for a few days: the vinyl player and the Sonos Era300 speaker are perfectly connected via Bluetooth with a steady blue light. However, for the past few days, no sound is coming out of the speaker when I try to connect it to either the Era300 or Era100.I tested my turntable on a Bluetooth Marshall speaker, and it works.I connected my phone via Bluetooth to the speakers using Apple Music, and there is sound.I've tried to troubleshoot the issue from every angle, but I can't find a solution. I don't know why, overnight, no sound is coming out.I have done the lastest update. Problem remains…Has there been a Sonos firmware update? thx!

Hi, I like to try and run 4 x Linn Komponent 104 speakers and a Sonos sub from my Sonos AmpThe nominal impedance of the Linns is 6 ohms so I appreciate the answer is probably “No”, just wondered if I set the crossover frequency to, say 90Hz to remove the low frequency duties, i might get away with this?I’ve been running 2 x Linn 104s in another room and they do sound great, but the new room I’m configuring is 30 x 16ft with an 18ft ceiling so will take a lot of filling!ThanksChris
Hello,I’ve got a green ceramic condenser, part of the AMP power supply, totally burn out and my AMP don’t turn on.Does any one know what are the specs to replace it ?Thanks a lot. Daniele
Hi, I saw year old threads, with this topic. All have been closed. I’d like to bring it up again with a couple of questions and requests for discussion.I have two sites with Sonos speakers for serveral years. Extended over time, it’s a total of 24 speakers now. Given the rising energy prices (announcement from provider: 0,45 € cents with next increase), idle power consumption becomes more and more an issue. Play 1 consumes 3 W. Sub, Playbar and some older Play 5 considerably more. It sums up:3W * 24h * 365days = 26,2 kWh * 24 speakers = 630 kWh * € 0.45 = € 280/year.Just for keeping them in standby. I could buy a Play 1 per year for these totally unnecessary costs. My workaround: I power them all off with Wifi-Plugs (0,5 W each). Power on/off with some smart home event. One plug controls several speakers in a room, so power consumption is considerably less. When powered on, an IFTTT applet sets volume, groups speakers and plays a favorite. (With a 2 min delay for booting).Question: Any
It’s worth in 2024 or has Sonos in plans to release a Gen2 in the future?I think Center channel, eARC, Trueplay, etc… What do you think? Moderator edit: changed plane to plans for clarity
Bonjour à tous la communauté je souhaite évoluer et acheter une table de mixage pouvez me dire quelles sont les marques compatibles sonos en table de mixage et si l achat du PORT est indispensable cordialement guihome
I have a spare connect:amo and am planning to use it to power some ceiling speakers in a bathroom (they will be the only speakers in the bathroom). Will the sonos sonance speakers work ok with the connect:amp? I believe I won’t be able to use trueplay with the connect:amp - how much does this matter with the sonance speakers. Would it make a huge big to upgrade from connect:amp to amp (an expence I would prefer to avoid if there is not much difference. Any replies/advice gratefully received.
Hi everyone, Looking for some help confirming whether I can achieve a setup that might work well, or not! We recently renovated and I put 4 Sonos ceiling speakers in the open plan kitchen. We have a TV at one end and a corner sofa, and 2 of the 4 ceiling speakers are above and just behind the sofa. Can I use 2 of the 4 to make up a 5.1 setup with a sub and soundbar with the TV? Would there be any issues or trade offs doing this, if it is possible? Thanks in advance for any guidance!
Hello,I've been using Sonos for some time around the house but recently decided I’d like to streamline the sound where my DJ setup is. I got 2x Era 300, Sub, and ran it through Port. The idea was that I could get rid of my amp, wires, and bulky speakers. I set it up and it sounds incredible. That is until I tried to mix and learned about the built-in latency. I called support and they recommended getting the line-in adapter and going in directly without Port. That made the situation even worse. The lag is a couple of seconds at least.I’m hoping someone out there has found a solution to the lag...I really don’t want to return all the gear and start again with something else!
Currently, I am using a Sonos Amp with 2x DIY speakers. I would like to expand this setup with 2x surround speakers. Therefore, is it possible to connect 2x Sonos One's speakers to the existing amp so that I can create a 4.0 surround setup? Thanks!
Je viens d acquérir une move 2, elle se connecte à ma platine vinyle elipson en Bluetooth sauf que je n ai pas de son. Pouvez vous m aider ? Mon but était d écouter mes vinyles.......
I’ve had my Sonos for some years now, it would appear that the BOOST is becoming unstable and is cutting off connection for seconds at a time. I believe that I can remove BOOST from the system and connect one of the SONOS speakers direct to my Hub and then have all the Sonos products link to the wired device. Is this a fairly simple process??
Yes, I know Sub Gen4 won’t be out until 2025. I just want to add my 2c that your Sub frequency range needs to go as low as 20Hz to accurately reproduce the audible frequency range of ~ 20Hz to 20KHz. This is the only issue giving me pause about purchasing a Sub gen 3 (which only goes down to 25Hz); well, that and the static issue reported by many in other threads. Also, the next Sub 4 needs to have a standard low-level in port, so I don’t have to add yet more subs taking up space just because I need sub-in ports. Thank you for your consideration.
Hello, I’m French. My SUB always has the white light permanently on. But it doesn't switch to green. Why won't it?How do I reset it?I can't.Help me, pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaseThanks
