What to get

I have 14 outdoor Sonance speakers connected to Sonance Amps that are then connected to Sonos ports. I want to add a true outdoor tv, but I would like play the sound through the speakers I already have installed outside  that are controlled with Sonos today through the port. What do I need to do or buy to allow this outdoor tv to play audio through my current setup? I also don’t want syncing issues with audio and video not matching up. I don’t need to add additional speakers, as current coverage for my backyard is great. What can I do here? Please help!

I just set mine up a couple hours ago. My current setup: Play5: Kitchen Play3: Living Room Play3: Office Play3: Basement 2 x Play3 Left & Right Pair: Master Bedroom Sonos Move - for deck time Expectations: I was HOPING this speaker would come close to the Play3 given the price. (I've never heard what a Play1 sounds like). I didn't think it would come close to a Play3 based on listening to the Youtubers trying to give sound comparisons through my own crappy computer speakers. Initial Reaction: Wow! These actually sound BETTER than my Play3's. I know audio is very subjective but I think I like the Move better than my Play3's. The "power" and "clarity" seem to be better on the Move than compared to my Play3's. But my Play3's seem to have a bit more "depth" to the audio. Hope that makes sense. When comparing to my Play5, I think the Move is closer to the Play5 than it is to the Play3 in my honest opinion. The Play5 does have more power, more clarity and more depth than the Mo

Does anyone know which courier company Sonos use for EU/UK deliveries ? Waiting patiently for my Arc to arrive next week but some companies seem to have an inability to find out house.    thanks

Hi I'm thinking of getting a Sonos Arc for my lounge. There are no side walls either side of the TV although we have a 2 meter odd ceiling. Does the arc rely on side walls or does it only bounce sound off of ceilings and the wall behind the sofa? Any guidance appreciated

My other SONOS speakers are white, and I want to add a Move to my bathroom. I do NOT want a black speaker. Please make the Move in white. This would have been a day 1 buy for me if it was available.

Hi, my living room is about 25m x 15m, and currently i have two Sonos One speakers in it. The sound is great, perfect really.. But there are slight chnages to the audio levels as i walk around the room. I really want to feel like I'm just blanketed by sound while laying on my sofa. I was considering buying another pair of Sonos Ones and hanging all four speakers from the corners of the room, basically making two L/R stereo pairs... But I'm wondering if this is overkill. I'm not interested in making my music super loud, just want it to be fuller.    Thanks    Thanks     

Is the wallmount for the Playbar and the Arc the same?

What I’m hearing so far about the S2 software is making me really think about updating my remaining legacy products - especially the potential about supporting high-res audio.    That said, my remaining concern has been the song limit - I’ve been relying on a DLNA server and now, as a better option, have migrated to Plex because my music collection is way larger than that.    Curious, is S2 also going to raise this limit?   It would be nice to be able to simplify my setup by getting rid of the servers. 

Is there a white power cable i can get for the Sonos Arc? There are white cables you can buy for some of the other devices.

We have recently bought LG HU80KS 4K UHD Projector https://www.amazon.com/LG-HU80KS-Theater-Cinebeam-Projector/dp/B07XC6YH21 We have some sonos plays from 2015 can we connect them or do we need a newer models? Many thanks for any advice

If I live in a 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor where the bedrooms are on either side of the living room but the floor is hardwood. Would the sub gen 3 be too much bass vibrating to the floor below or annoying my neighbors on either side??

Hello everyone.  This is my first post, and hopefully it is in a format acceptable to this forum.   I am trying to gift a system to someone.   The person loves music, enjoys high quality sound, but is not at all interested in learning anything about systems, hi fi or technology of sound.   The room it would go in is nearly a circle.  It is also nearly all glass (due to views), and with a mix of wood and rug flooring.  Sound does not bounce as much as one would expect. Although the space is a good size, the dining and sitting areas will never need different sound volumes.  My goals are:  1) achieve sound excellence; and 2) Hide most of the system as much as possible. I have three scenarios depicted as attached. BLUE. Four Sonos One + Sub RED. Two Sonos Five + 2 Sonos One GREEN. One Sonos Five + 3  Sonos Ones + 1 Sub Would much appreciate if you would give me your preference, and reasons for why.     Or, please give me an alternative other than those shown.  Many thanks in ad

I currently have a Sonos Move, and use it primarily outside on my patio. It sounds good but I have a big backyard and would like to added volume. I’m considering buying a 2nd Move and setting them up in stereo. Any issues paring these in stereo when they are off the charging base? I know they can’t be paired in blutetooth mode, but I keep them on my wifi when outside, so that’s not an issue?  Also anyone using 2 moves in stereo...any thoughts on the sounds when compared to just a single speaker in mono? My current home theater setup is a Sony 4k Projector VPL-VW285ES, Xbox OneX - that is connected to Sonos Playbar. i have a Sub and a pair of Play 3 speakers in this setup. I am interested to get Sonos Arc for Dolby Atmos upgrade but I am finding conflicting information on how to do this setup / if at all this setup would work now. Please help.

What's a better set up?

Hi,   I currently have a setup with an amplifier and 5 sorround standard speakers with a connection to a blu ray playewr, PS4 and a nintendo switch. Would it be possible to replace the amplifier and speakers with a sonos ARC and how would I have to do to connect multiple HDMI devices in to it?   The TV I have is 6 months old OLED capable of handling Dolby Vision.   Many Thanks in advance.

Hi, we have a Connect wired with ethernet cable (so running Sonosnet).  We also have a Play5 (original) connected to the Sonosnet wifi.  The Play5 is on a different floor and a couple rooms away, so a pretty good distance from the Connect.   The Play5 (primarily used by my wife) has pretty frequent dropouts when using Spotify.  It’s been doing this for several months.  I’d like to fix this for her, as I’ve noticed that she is using the Play5 less and less because of this.   Scenario 1: Do you think adding a Boost would help, located somewhere between the Connect and Play5, but not hardwired with ethernet cable?   Scenario 2: I could also add a Boost and hardwire it with ethernet cable, then position it a bit closer to the Play5 (in the basement, several feet below the Play5).  In this case, I would like have a 10/100 network switch between my router and the Boost (not sure if that matters).  Of course, this would require running some ethernet cable, but is doable.  I don’t have a clean

Currently, I have 5.1 setup with Sonos Beam, Sub and 2 rear play 1 speakers. But my Smart TV does not support eARC and atmos. Should I upgrade to Sonos Arc for better sound? Or the current setup does not justify for the expensive price of Sonos Arc since I have the Sub and rear speakers and the TV does not support eARC and Atmos.

I need some assistance in figuring out which products I need, in order to do what I want to do.   Layout: I have 2 rooms on opposite sides of the house, that both have TVs separated by a dining room in between.  I would like to be able to to play the same music in all 3 rooms(2 dens, 1 dining room) if necessary, however also be able to have the option to have just the dining and 1 den continue to play music while another room is playing sound from the TV.   I assume I need 2 “Beams” and then a few play 1s but it is unclear to me.  Any guidance would be much appreciated!

How does an ARC + 2 Play 1’s compare to a traditional 5.1 setup? My TV’s HDMI-ARC  does not support Dolby ATMOS, so I am limited to Dolby Digital.

Just wanted to mention that there are a few reviews there, wondering how these people got them and if indeed they are legitimate?

Please forgive me. I am not tech savy at all. I currently have the Sonos 5.1 home theater system with playbase. I have ordered the Sonos Arc. How will  I go about removing the playbase from the system and then installing the arc ? I also would like to sell the playbase to a friend. How do I factory reset the playbase ? Hi I’ve just preordered a Sonos Arc and I’ve just received a Samsung Q95T which is a TV which has its brains in a separate ‘one connect’ box that sits separate to the TV allowing the TV to be thinner.    The one connect box has all the plugs for the TV including HDMI. So I need to run a HDMI cable 5m form the one connect box to my soon to arrive Sonos Arc.    Should I be looking out for a specific brand or type of HDMI cable?    Many thanks
