Thank you for the latest UI update on Sonos Controler, looks better. One feature that I have been missing for a long time is a simple shortcut key for pause and play. For example F5 or Space. Now Spece/Enter do the trick IF you have the Play/Pause button activated, but if you have for example just adjusted the volume, Space/Enter do nothing. Also good UI design requires that all the functions that you have on the UI should be accessible without clicking with mouse.

What gives Sonos the right to come into my home and stop me using equipment that I paid for to play my musc from my server in my home? It is outrageous and unacceptable behaviour. It might have been acceptable if Sonos said you can’t upgrade until you confirm your email address, but to maliciously stop the system working Is despicable. A big red flag for future customers and raises big questions around privacy issues and Sonos real motivation for this. Trust has been lost. As an early adopter and until now admirer of Sonos, I’ll not be replacing my player when it reaches end of life, which I now expect will be artificially induced by Sonos.

I tried to use my sonos just now (I have guests over) and I had to jump through hoops just to make it work (was working fine last week) needed create new password, re-enter email, etc. I just want to play music!! Any more of this, and I think I will seek resolution via my local consumer affairs organisation. (I'm talking refunds due to the device not being fit for purpose).

This is getting very interesting. With the addition of Alexa Cast, which IME works better than Chromecast, and certainly better than AirPlay, Amazon is building quite a system. With the latest Verge interview with Sonos CEO. It is very disappointing that Sonos has miss the spring time promise. And after reading the interview. Maybe we will see it in 2019. I have lost faith that we will see it in 2018. And now you do not even see google assistance mention in the Beam or the One product page.

Hi, Can anyone advise me of how to get through to a Manger at Customer Services to make a complaint regarding an order. They just seem to ignore you. I have sent emails with an automatic reply of we will get back to you in 48 hours they don't. I have telephoned and spoke to an assistant who has told me that someone will get back to me straight away to get it sorted and they don't. Twice now I have phoned with the same result. Their products may be good but their customer service is shocking. I would not be buying anymore products from them, and as I am within the 100 days I am considering sending back the 3 products I purchased.

Soon on June 6th we will know what is the current SONOS understanding on accepting other codecs. Apple TV has just announced that it will have DOLBY Atmos, since, SONOS said that one of the reasons for them not pursuing DTS + Other codecs was that they weren’t available via streaming and there wasn’t high demand for them. Maybe now that might change. why are there no streaming lyrics?

If I stream through Apple Music on my Sonos, does it count for streams? I want to make sure I'm supporting smaller artists and helping my favorite artists climb the charts.

have you any experience concerning the delivery? What means Shipment confirmed? Why i can't have a tracking number? I am in France i have ordered my Sonos Wednesday afternoon and i still don't have a tracking number.

No solamente las personas que hablan ingles son clientes de Sonos, tambien hay personas latinas que usan Sonos. Espero que en el futuro se tome en cuenta este comentario para que se integre a esta comunidad una seccion en español. Se que usan traductores como el de Google para poder resolver los problemas de algunas personas como Yo que publica en esta comunidad.

I would love to see Sonos develop a wireless rechargeable speaker that can be taken out on a deck where a plugged in version is not an option. This would be great to be able to have a flexible zone that can travel within your Wi-Fi network without being plugged in.

Random question! But I was wondering what headphone/earphone devices people use that sound most similar to Sonos sound? My friends recommend the Apple AirPods but I don't find the sound as good and I know that there are better portable devices out there!

Hello, I need to buy new products to my own studio and I need know - who is my actual distributor at Czech Republic. Is it High-End Audio Studio, Belgicka 4, Prague (my first and last), or Ketos (or AV Integra), or someone new whos I don´t know? Thank U for some help.

Arguably one of the best things sonos has going for it is the fact that it integrates so well with so many different music sources. Still listening to all of these sources can make tracking music you like, especially new music hard to follow. Was that song on my apple playlist, was it on spottily? But I mean these are all just playlists, why is there not a basic feature to sync this meta data of the song names across platforms? I mean I know spottily wants to keep its playlists so you keep paying for premium, same with apple etc. But sonos is selling hardware, expensive hardware. While the quality is there, a more fully integrated playlist with options to export the data to a CSV is a really basic thing which would add value.

What happened to the wonderful tech support Sonos USED to have? Third time I've tried to speak with someone with a hold time over 1.5 HOURS!

I came across this new Qnap application and i was amazed !! It controls all my Sonos devices with no issues so far.. You just drag and Drop the music you want on the devises it discovers and.. voila!!. This is an alternative to the Sonos native software..
