Hello, I need to buy new products to my own studio and I need know - who is my actual distributor at Czech Republic. Is it High-End Audio Studio, Belgicka 4, Prague (my first and last), or Ketos (or AV Integra), or someone new whos I don´t know? Thank U for some help.

Arguably one of the best things sonos has going for it is the fact that it integrates so well with so many different music sources. Still listening to all of these sources can make tracking music you like, especially new music hard to follow. Was that song on my apple playlist, was it on spottily? But I mean these are all just playlists, why is there not a basic feature to sync this meta data of the song names across platforms? I mean I know spottily wants to keep its playlists so you keep paying for premium, same with apple etc. But sonos is selling hardware, expensive hardware. While the quality is there, a more fully integrated playlist with options to export the data to a CSV is a really basic thing which would add value.

What happened to the wonderful tech support Sonos USED to have? Third time I've tried to speak with someone with a hold time over 1.5 HOURS!

I came across this new Qnap application and i was amazed !! It controls all my Sonos devices with no issues so far.. You just drag and Drop the music you want on the devises it discovers and.. voila!!. This is an alternative to the Sonos native software..

Google has announced their Home Max speaker. That thing looks like a direct copy of the PLAY:5. No one knows how it compares sound-wise. We'll see when it launches next year. My worry is: Google will take a huge chunk of music-centric customers to the Google eco-system and monopolizing yet another home product area. For those looking to switch, please share your opinion. It's a BATTLE for sure!

Onkyo said theywould release their list of onkyo and pioneer receivers that work with sonos and they did. https://ce-pro.eu/news/home-cinema/audio-av/pioneer-onkyo-products-now-work-with-sonos-speakers/ I haven't looked at these to see the price range or features. For those that must have atmos and Sonos whole home audio, this might be your solution.

Searched and nothing on Apple Homepod yet so I'll start this inevitable discussion. I see the Homepod announcement as an opportunity for Sonos rather than an end. Now that they know what the Apple play in this area is, Sonos has little choice but to move more aggressively in a direction that may be better for most of it's present and future customers. That direction, in my opinion, is one of greater openness, increased integration with Google Home, Amazon Echo and other "smart home" technologies and an overall increased pace of innovation. As someone who is quite heavily invested in Sonos, I look forward to watching this play out.

As a Jazz fan, I frequently listen to records, because of the sometimes excellent liner notes, which were intelligently written by some great critics. TunesMap is trying to bring back that experience, and more, to Sonos. Requires an Apple TV, but that's a minor hurdle if it delivers as promised. From what I've read on airplay 2, it is believe that apple will have the ability to send audio from your iPhone/ipad to multiple speakers and have them play in sync. Now, this could be just a feature of the homepod, as clearly Apple wants multiple Homepods to play in sync. However, does this also mean that other airplay 2 compatable speakers will be able to play in sync? For example, your Homepod, Bose speaker, and Sonos can all play in sync. I've read some things suggesting that's the case. This does somewhat make sense. Airplay 2 apparently requires compatible speakers to have a lot of memory available for buffering. If you want lots of unlike speakers to play in sync, having a big buffer would likely make that more easily accomplished, as I understand it. I don't have the right equipment to test this out personally, not even sure if there are enough airplay 2 compatible speakers that have been released to test it out. Going on the assumption that

The answer for those needing to play files from their local library has always been "Just upload them to a streaming service", but now that option is disappearing with no good alternative being offered. Let's hope Sonos redirects some resources back to the local library side of the house before the ability to play those treasured files that don't exist in Music Service libraries disappears for good.

Hello Everyone Besides the fact that SONOS as a word is a Palindrome meaning it reads/pronounced the same spelled backwards and forwards (pretty neat marketing) I’ve always wondered from whence the name was derived by founders John MacFarlane, Craig Shelburne, Tom Cullen and Trung Mai. 1. Personally, I prefer the Latin derivative ‘Sonus’, which is the root of sonic and sound. 🆒 2. Although it could also be an acronym for "silicon–oxide–nitride–oxide–silicon" which is used in memory technology. I’ve not been able to find anything on the SONOS website that speaks to the history (origin) of the name and would be interested to read your take or tell me where it’s discussed. Out of curiosity which would you prefer to believe as the origin of the SONOS brand/name, 1 or 2 :?. Please cast your vote Cheers!

I was very disappointed to be informed of the Sonos price rises in the UK. Although the dollar rate is blamed it doesn't account for why the products are much cheaper in some countries? £100 rise on the Sub and Playbar is just too much. I am very lucky that my system is now pretty complete but think UK sales will suffer

Does anyone know if its possible to play your downloaded Spotify or Tidal content while in 'offline' mode mover Sonos? If not, any idea why not?

I have 13 speakers (14 if you count the five that if you plug in will kill the whole system) inclusive of the playbar, sub & sub - along with speakers in every bathroom and bedroom in this HUGE 1,200 Sq. Foot (being sarcastic). I have had them for at least five years, some newer than others. For the love of God, if I have to unplug the speakers one more time and replug them in again they are going out the window, and I will just chalk up my financial loss as a lesson the rest of the world can learn. First, Sonos support states it's my internet. I threw out Xfinity and got Fios (my Mbps is hovering at about 890 - 980 fast right...). Of course, after I ran around the house for hours with support on the phone up ladders down ladders, under here and over unplugging and then plugging back in. Resetting the modem, disconnecting the switch, unplug anything connected to the wifi, (this is a "dedicated Sonos Net" Mesh under boost -- well I think we are working with words that Sonos defin
