Hi folks, I am moving back to London and want to take my Sonos speakers. Are they fine on the 220-240v circuits the UK has opposed to the US standard of 110v?
When listening to music with friends, we will all take a turn at putting the next song on. Sonos is a great way to do this. The features of "Play Next", "Play Now" or "Add to Queue" is perfect EXCEPT that people too easily accidentally hit the "Play Now" button and then it ruins the flow by stopping the current song. Perhaps "DJ Mode" only allows for Play Next or Add to Queue to prevent the accidental cancellation of a playing song. Adding a collaborative feature where multiple people can add to the playlist but only in turn would be really neat. It would turn it into more than just background music and make it a game or the focus of a listening party. It would be forcing people to be more interactive with the music. I use to make this mandatory when hosting. lol Just an idea. What do you think?
I purchased the Sonos Speakers because of the ability to enjoy my music on the Sonos speakers. Well, that is not happening and I am not happy right now. This posting is for those who have Sonos.com speakers. I have recently attempted to download the Windows Controller for my desktop. It states that it can't find the existing version of the music. I have uninstalled the application and reloaded the application. I was reading in the Sonos Community that this has been happening for a while now. So my question to Sonos, if the controller isn't working correctly why do you still have the application on your website. Looking at your Board of Directors, you have a pretty smart team, so why hasn't someone come up with the fix. So if you are having the same problem with the Windows Controller, don't waste your time on the Sonos Community, take it right to the top. Send an email to Patrick Spence, CEO, Patrick.Spence@sonos.com Also, copy your letter to the investor relations Inve
iPhone message says one of my speakers may be unplugged and I receive no sound. Checked all speakers and the lights are white. Any suggestions?
Hi, I have just changed my WiFi network and re set my Sonos. I now have no access to any music whatsoever. The playlist option has disappeared and if I type in a song, artist etc, there is nothing! What have I done and how can I solve issue ?
One thing is to grey out the entire volume bar instead of putting an "x" next to the speaker you want to mute. It's just easier to see.
My Apple Music account is showing in the sonos App but all my music and more importantly my playlists are not there. It was there all last summer but it does not show on this sonos system at my summer home. It does show when I am at the main house. Any thoughts?
The new font styles are not great. I can no longer tell which page is the current one. This is on Firefox on Windows.https://
As I haven't seen anyone else mention it, maybe it's just me, so this is all purely IMHO. The last system wasn't good, compared with the old forum system run by users, but this one seems even worse. Huge icons, so much wasted screen area - I'd imagine that it's designed for phone use, which makes it rather irritating on anything more capable - e.g. even a bog standard laptop. I have to page down two or three times just to get to the forums. IIRC, the last version displayed the latest activity in each forum - this seems to have disappeared. So instead of simply scrolling down to see whether or not it might be worth visiting a forum, I'd now have to go into each forum just to see whether anything has changed. This is not going to happen, so I can't really see me visiting much in the future other than for a specific reason. I have to say, I've watched many companies change their software through time, and yours is the only company I've seen that get's consistently worse, rather than be
The Favorites option was a simple way of tracking updates to threads you have posted to or are monitoring, has that feature gone forever now?
Looks iffy to me but seems to have Sonos copyrighted artwork: https://www.sonos-connect.com/some-incredible-tips-to-use-your-sonos-speakers-more-efficiently/
Hi everyone! Just wanted to share an interesting case and takeaway from the recent community changes. Yesterday, one of our technicians was working with a user who was unable to see the replies on the community from their mobile phone. Other devices would display the replies with no problem. On mobile, they were able to access any topic and see the number of replies, however after the original post, all that would show is the footer of the site. The user submitted screen shots and the technician was also able to reproduce the problem. This is when the technician called me over to have a closer look. I wasn't able to reproduce the same behavior on my mobile device, which gave us the idea of there being a problem with the browser or cached data from the previous community layout. We cleared cache and browser data and in the process, we also discovered a pop-up/content blocker (1Blocker) which also seemed to have an effect on the layout of the community. After relaying
I like the not so white background. I wish that the site made better use of screen real estate on my 4K monitor.
What happened to the Insided interface? There are parts that now seem to be using 200pt type.
Hello. I've been using Sonos to to play Apple Music playlists well above 500 songs for several weeks now and just this afternoon got this dreaded message with no ability to listen. I see this has been discussed quite a bit but each thread has been closed and I'm unsure if there's a fix. If it's a known issue I'd certainly hope there is a fix. Can someone please advise? Thanks kindly.
About to eBay my £400 Sonos Beam. Audio synch is a joke having to reset it every program. Sonos support are useless. Given up.
Every time I launch Sonos on Windows 10 with an ultrawide monitor, it defaults to a massive size taking up 85% of the screen. I resize it to a much more reasonable size taking up about 15% of the screen, but next time it opens, it defaults back to the massive size. Previous versions remembered the size I set. This should too. This is very frustrating.
iPhone - library playback issues. Send a message to Patrick Spence, CEO and President of Sonos follow this link to connect directly with someone who might be able to help with this issue. https://www.sonos.com/en-au/contact/contact-options%23 Good luck.
Can anyone offer suggestions to restore Sonos speaker connectivity with MacOS? I have been unable to use Sonos since updating to Mojave 10.14.4
It is 6am PST which means it is 9am Monday on the East Coast. Are there no forum Admins awake over in the Boston Sonos office yet? The spam content this weekend is continuing this morning, with apparently zero effort from the admins to delete it, and block it in the future.
I'm ready to explore other options as the new v5.0 'update' is a complete turd. Sonopad looked promising in the App Store, can I get everyone's opinion of which controller is the best? Sonos employees need not respond...
Enhance Spotify integration by including Spotify's 'Made for' playlists - Daily Mixes, Discover Weekly, Release Radar etc. #featurerequest
Have a TV in the kitchen with ceiling mounted speakers in breakfast booth across the the room. Would like to replace a cheap amp driving those speakers with an unused Connectamp. Simple installation but would like that unit to be part of a group playing music throughout the building when TV is off and auto switch to TV when it is on and vice versa. Expecting casual users, occasional users, or my wife to use a sonos controller to make those changes will never happen!!
It’s a shame
Hello! I am the proud new owner of a Beam and Sub. I’m having trouble though hooking up my Beam to utilize HDMI-ARC on my TV (and the extra features) I have a: 1. TV with ARC, 2. Beam and 3. Bell Fibe receiver If I run HDMI from Beam to ARC on TV how would I hook up my Bell Fibe receiver? Seems like it’s a toss up between reduced picture quality or sound. Does anyone have an idea I’m missing? My current hookup is: Beam into optical on TV while Bell Fibe receiver is connected to HDMI-ARC on TV. On a side note, to control volume using Bell Fibe remote with Beam is brutal! Literally have to tap many times or hold button down or a solid 5-10 seconds. I’ve tried reprogramming but it does not improve. Thanks
