I have Sonos Era 300 and Roam 2 in my little bedroom. I take Roam 2 when I travel. The new speaker Sonos Play 2026 seems good. I am thinking to buy one more Sonos speaker. Someone said buy another Era 300, but my room is really small though I can still put it in. So now I am really hesitating buy another Era 300 to make pair or buy new Sonos Play? I do have Samsung 11.2 soundbar in my living room. So I don’t need any speaker in living room. I also have 1 Bose portable smart speaker in my bedroom. So currently 3 smart speakers in my bedroom, 2 Sonos and 1 Bose. Plus 1 XiaoMi smart speaker in my ensuite bathroom. Those speakers can play same music via airplay/airplay 2. But only Ear 300 support Dolby Amos. If Sonos Play 2026 support it as well. Then my next speaker purchase definitely is Play. But unfortunately Sonos Play 2026 is not support Dolby atmos. As you know my bedroom is small. So could you please make recommendation buy Era 300 or Play 2026? Many Thanks.
It is unacceptable that a program that completely depends on an app would end support for any of its devices. Especially ones only a few years old. I have a house full of Sonos speakers and was planning on adding more, but not if the support is obsolete or will end a coulple years out from any future OS.
I found a Roam speaker at Gatwick Airport. please get in touch if it is yours

After a lot of frustrations and a lot of troubleshooting I have finally got my network and Sonos playing nicely. I run a Cisco enterprise network at home. WS-C3850-12X48U-E switch and AIR AP3802I and AP1562I access points. If you want them to be able to use more than 15.4 watts of PoE power you need to enable LLDP. After that they’ll use 30 wattslldp runPorts are configured as access ports with spanning-tree portfast switchport access vlan 410 switchport mode access spanning-tree portfastThat’s all I needed to do on my switch.I run a Cisco mobility express controller on 2 of my APs to manage my WiFi network. You have to enable mDNS for the VLAN your Sonos is on. You should also add
Ho do you remove a song selection from the screen on the sonos2 app
I have recently stopped using Napster as my music source and have started using Amazon Music . My subscription to Amazon Music is the Standard - Individual at £9.99 per month.Using the Sonos app I am unable to select artists or tunes I enter - no selections can be found. I can play generic music so I know my Sonos speakers are OK.My question is should I be able to select what I want to hear with my Amazon Music Standard - Individual subscription (as I could with Napster) or do I need to upgrade my Amazon subscription to a more expensive option.
It is weird to have the Mac app’s view of the Sonos Favorites (beloved, correct) and the iOS app’s view of the Sonos Favorites (graphic-heavy, weird, unc) so very different. But I have a very, very simple way out of this mess. In the iOS app settings, there should be a setting:Sort By:( ) Alphabetical( ) RecencyTa-daaa! Everyone gets what they want.
I have a Sonos Symfonisk (from Ikea). It works on Wi-Fi but not Bluetooth. If I’ll buy a SONOS Era 300 and I ‘ll connect it to the SYMFONISK, will the system (2 speakers symfonisk +ERA 300) work on Bluetooth? thanks best regards
Hi, my family has a house filled with at least 15-20 sonos speakers in the ceiling, amps, connects, arc, etc. I was surprised when we didn’t get a 25% offer email like everyone seems to be getting. Any idea how we can get the 25% offer as I just moved out and now want to fit my house with a few thousand $ in speakers for an awesome gaming/movie setup. I have a 20x20 family/media room in my new place, with one wall for the tv completely shelved (not sure if that’s good or bad for speakers). Help me decide what speakers to get and where to put them? From an aesthetics standpoint I was thinking arc ultra right under the TV, sub in the front corner of the room. I am new to background speakers, but see people tend to have two. So thinking two era 100s or 300s on stands in the back corners (aesthetically better for us than right behind the couch). I was hoping to get the sub era 3 open box and then use the 25% off to get the rest brand new. Let me know if my thoughts are foolish before I
Hey - I’m doing an addition and it’s going to be an 18 x 26’ Golf simulator/Theater addition. I’ve started my research and would really like to go the Sonos route but have seen some conflicting information on if its enough to power my room with my distance from where the speakers will be behind my impact screen. I’m going to have a 16’x9’ Screen and want to have my walls built to house the speakers and was thinking that I’m going to do a Center sound bar with 2 channels behind the impact screen, along with a sub or two behind the screen and then two side channels mounted to the side of the couch, and then possibly two rear channels. My overarching question is am I too far away from the screen (Sitting approximately 24’ away) to get the benefit of the Sonos system or am I better off going in wall speakers with an amp/reciever? Thank you!!!
I’m getting the error “the track is not encoded correctly” on Sonos S1 when trying to play DR’s radio channels via DR LYD. Both the app and firmware are fully updated, but the issue happens every time.It seems like a compatibility problem with DR’s current stream format on the S1 platform.I do not want to use TuneIn as a workaround, since I prefer using DR’s official stream.Does anyone know whether DR’s current stream is compatible with Sonos S1, or if there’s a proper fix
Avec quel autre produit puis-je compter ma spaire sonos Move 2
Hello, A very important feature is currently missing, and I'm surprised it hasn't been implemented yet. The ability to edit and manage radio favorites would be a huge plus for me. With the MyTuner Pro app, you can manage and, more importantly, move your favorites. Audials Play goes even further, allowing you to create multiple favorite lists. How can I suggest Sonos add this feature? Is it easy to contact them? Do they even check this forum?
This app should be offered by Sonos; it's terrible.
Hi In the last week or so, Plex has stopped working in Sonos. You can see all the library items but the songs won’t play. I have done everything, including overhauling my network and doing a clean install of Plex on my QNAP NAS. I have spent days trying to troubleshoot this issue but so far, nothing. So I am wondering if anyone else might be having this issue, and has it been caused by a firmware update either on Plex side or Sonos? I have reached the point where I'm going to either have to ditch Plex or Sonos so that i can enjoy listening to my music without the hassle. I would really appreciate any advice that someone here might have. Thanks Jay
The Sonos Port is designed to be connected to external audio devices, it is the sole purpose of this device. Those external audio devices are likely to add latency due to audio processing. It makes no sense to expect users to remove audio processing just to have the port be able to almost be in sync with other sonos devices in the house. To resolve this, the sonos port should have negative delay. This is how I believe it should work. Obviously adding negative (future) delay is impossible. When a Sonos Port is configured with a negative delay of say 60ms, and it is joined into a group with other Sonos devices, the OTHER devices should have a positive delay of 60ms added to them, which would allow the port to be in sync with the entire group. When the Sonos Port is removed from the group, they would remove that added positive delay. I know this has been discussed in other topics which are all closed now, but this device really takes a hit when it can’t function with a good chunk of A
Album Artwork is in a folder on desktop marked Album Artwork.jpg. Somehow, I have to include this folder in the pathway! Oh, the PATHWAY!! When I do create a pathway it says access to the shared folder is denied check username and password. when I updated my music library one piece of artwork transferred. I can't figure out why that worked and none of the rest worked… Help
Since the big app fiasco in May 2024 (I think that’s when the disaster happened) I’ve been using the old S2 app on my system and prevented any updated. This was due to me trying the new app on the first day on my iPad and hating it and then removing that and since then only using my Android devices.I’ve kept an eye on things mainly in the areas which I use the system - internet radio and streaming FLAC files from my NAS.Recently though I’ve virtually stopped streaming from my NAS and mainly airplay from my iPAD to the speakers and that is sufficient.I’ve noticed over the last few months that the old app was very laggy mostly communicating with the older play1 speakers. So today I updated to the latest version and whilst I’ve not used it much yet, I think it will be fine for my current uses. I’m not too keen on the user interface but that might just be a case of me getting used to it. I won’t condemn it until I’ve played with it for a couple of months :-)
I’m looking for some upgrate advice! I have a Beam Gen 2 and a pair of Ones as rear speakers, which I have had in place since 2018 or so, I am considering upgrading the Beam to an Arc, but not sure if this is the right next step. I don’t have a Sub, so getting one is an alternative option. It is a large living room with a 55” tv. I would welcome any thoughts on an uograde witgh limited funds - should I get a Sub 4, or change the Beam to an Arc? Thanks.
Hi I'm done screwing around with Sonos BS and all the money they swindled from me on these speakers. Has anyone had any luck finding a class action attorney? Any suggestions on a law firm to contact? It's time for us to take action.Thanks.
Hello, I dont see any reason why the other Topic was closed. Refering to I will not accept the fact that this is just closed to say “Just put it in same VLAN”. This is far more like a F*** O*** statement towards your customers. The previous models, were pretty fine working, untill the ERA has been released. How hard is it to listen also to your customers who wants to secure their enviroment and put things in different VLANS? If this is not being fixed in the coming months, our stores in the Netherlands (35+), will not be onboarded with SONOS setups. To be honest, I still want this to get to work, but if this will stay like this, there is no other choice to see other brands. This is not a threat or a warning, just the facts. Hope that someone from SONOS reads this actually.
Hi everyone,I’m currently enjoying my TV setup with the following configuration:Sonos Arc + 2× Era 100 + Sub Mini.Lately I’ve been thinking about upgrading my system to take fuller advantage of Dolby Atmos, so I’m planning to purchase two Era 300 speakers in the near future. However, it feels a bit wasteful to let my two Era 100 speakers go unused once I add the Era 300s, since they’re still excellent speakers. So I’d really appreciate some advice from the community. If I end up with the following setup:Sonos Arc + 2× Era 100 + 2× Era 300 + Sub Miniwhat would be the most appropriate way to place them in a room? Has anyone tried integrating both Era 100 and Era 300 in the same home theater environment?Alternatively, would it make more sense to skip the Era 300 purchase and upgrade the Arc to the Arc Ultra instead?I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences.Thank you so much!
I am setting up a stereo pair with Sonos One speakers on both my bedside tables. Call them A and B. As I face my bed, speaker A is on the left and speaker B on the right. But when I am in bed, speaker B is heard on my left and A is heard on the right. I want to use this stereo pair to listen to Binaural Beats, which plays music in a slightly different frequency for each ear. So my question is -do I call speaker B the left and speaker A the right?
