Hello,I am currently running v11.15 of the Controller for PC and all is working well.Sonos wants to update to 90.0-67171. Has anyone still on S1 applied this update? Any benefit or detriment to updating?Thanks!

Relisten was finally working late last week.  It went down again last night.  It was a wonderful 4 day run, but its back to can't connect to Relisten or can't play 'song name'. And it skips through 4 or 5 songs before the error messages appear.  I tried to speak with the help desk, but after 15 minutes and nothing from the representative, other than telling me his name, I aborted. I just want Relisten to work correctly. I assume that Sonos is aware and working on a fix

I don’t see a way to remove it. Just edit.

Hi everyone,I'd like to suggest a feature for Sonos's portable speakers, specifically the Move and Move 2: the ability to turn them on remotely via Bluetooth.Similar to how the Bose SoundLink Micro works, this feature (Bluetooth Low Energy) would let us wake up a Sonos portable speaker from a powered-off state just by connecting to it with a Bluetooth-enabled device. This would be incredibly convenient, as it would eliminate the need to physically go to the speaker to turn it on—a quick Bluetooth connection would do the trick as long as you're in range.This feature could also be a great help when a speaker goes missing inside a bag or elsewhere in the home, as you could locate it by connecting to it and playing audio.I hope this is something that can be added through a future firmware update, assuming the hardware/software of the Move and Move 2 supports it.What are your thoughts on this idea?

I can’t get my Play 5 to sync with my Ray (connected through optical) when connected to the tv without getting up and pressing the play button on the Play 5. When I try to add the Play 5, then press apply, all sound stops. 

For some reason, my Sonos One lost its connection to my home WiFi network, and it appeared the only way to get it back on was to follow the device reset steps.  Once I was again able to connect to it with the controller app, none of my previous settings were there in terms of favorites, music services, playlists, etc. My question is, where are these settings kept?  As part of my Sonos account (if so, would have expected them to be remembered) or on the device itself?

I have no true play showing on my app , any fix guys ?

Hello, I want to run my computer audio through my Rodecaster Pro II, as I currently do utilizing my Adam A3X powered speakers. But now, I want to use the Sonos era 100 speakers to replace those. Is there a way to connect the era 100’s to the Rodecaster Pro II and use them as my computer speakers (not utilizing the Bluetooth feature of the speakers)?

I have a few zones that are a 3 speaker setup (Beam + 2 Ones, Ray + AMP).  Sometimes I have 1 speaker in the zone unplugged on purpose - example below.  I’ve noticed the zone then disappears so I can’t use that zone at all until I power the missing speaker.  I’d like to keep using the zone even if there are speakers “missing” because they are not plugged in.  How can I do this?  Or is it a feature request? Example zone: my AMP powers 2 soffit speakers for my back deck.  I have a rolling cart for my outdoor TV, which includes the Ray.  When watching TV the AMP speakers serve as the surrounds paired with the Ray.  I turn off the cart’s powerstrip when not watching TV, hence the Ray is unplugged most of the time.   Now, because of the zone setup, I can’t play music out of the AMP when just hanging out on the deck. 

is it possible to use a Sonos ACE connected to an ARC Ultra;hearing through the ACE but still having the Utra working (sounding the film)?

When I use the Sonos app on my iPhone to play music, does the app display the music format?  Dolby Atmos is displayed on the Sonos app when Apple TV is the music source.  But I can’t tell the format when the music source is the Sonos app (or at least I don’t know where it is displayed). This came up because music played with Apple TV sounds different.  Clearer. Thanks,Tom Morris

I have a upper and lower deck wanting to add a new zone for lower deck. Their is a JBL2210 sub powered by bridged crown 1502 for the upper deck mounted to ceiling of lower Deck.Will the sonos amps allow me to use a Y cable from both sub outs to a common 1 channel crown amp?Or will it require a type of autosensing RCA switch to flip the sub from (upper deck sonos amp zone 1) to (lower deck sonos amp zone 2)? 

I am in the process of moving into a new home that needs to be wired with a whole house speaker system. There will not be the opportunity to install volume controls in each room.I would like to use my Denon Receiver that has two zones for Multi-Sourcing to other amps with RCA cable to split the signal and power 12 pairs of speakers I currently have in my home.My question is can the Sonos Amps connect to my receiver and daisy chain with other Sonos amps so one music source can feed all the Sonos amps in sync? My Denon receiver Is the main source for my home theater and multi-sourcing thru-out the house and in need to somehow control the volume with each set of speakers. Complicated question and I hope it makes sense.  

Hi, can you let me know the best recommended set up to connect an Arc with a PC for listening to video (no TV available unfortunately to connect HDMI-ARC cable) streamed through a PC - eg. SkyGo - I think there are various set ups, but want the best without delay on the video content. Thanks for your help

Hi, I need your help setting up my Beam gen 2. In the end I think my tv is to old (I hope I’m wrong).  LG OLED55C7V (launched 2017) Apple TV 4K (latest) Sonos beam gen 2 What I understand, my tv only have ARC port for hdmi and not eARC. When having the Apple TV set to Dolby Atmos, I can’t have the sound to be synced because I don’t have earc ports. So I tested Dolby digital 5.1. But then I can’t get the sound synced properly and it did also get a little pulsing sometimes.  Last try I set it to Stereo. Now the sound got synced. But the sound sometimes sound like it’s in a pipe / tube. Really weird.  Other settings on my Apple TV are: 4K SDRYCbCr4:4:4Match dynamic range and frame rate On my LG TV it’s set to: Bypass/pass throughDTV is set to autoSimplink onOutput PCM When turning Dolby Atmos off in Apple TV and let it use standard surround and also set the Output in LG to Auto instead of PCM. Now it sends Dolby Digital 5.1 and the weird “pipe”-sound is gone. But, the sound gets a little

There should be a further option in the ‘Queue Management’ dropdown; that is ‘Add To Front Of Queue’.Isn’t that how Sonos used to work?Correspondingly the user should be able to specify a default setting for this to avoid having to visit the dropdown at each visit.

Hello everyone, and happy summer!I'm looking for support and help from experienced users!I'll try to be as brief as possible to focus on my biggest concern: I'd like to improve the audio experience by installing sound-absorbing panels!My biggest concern (and the questions I've been asking myself) is this: as you know, panels can usually be placed on the wall just above the TV, on the wall behind us, on the side walls, and on the ceiling!But since our Sonos systems are designed with audio that "reflects" and "bounces" off the side walls (like the ERA 300, the ARC) and on the ceiling for the Atmos effect, would it be incorrect to place these panels on the ceiling and side walls? I think the audio that should "bounce" off the walls and ceiling is "absorbed" by the panels, and therefore it would be a mistake to install them! Is this correct? Perhaps the only ones we can place are on the wall in front of us, right above the TV and soundbar?Thank you to anyone who will be so kind as to clari

Greetings from Rhode Island.My question is whtat hardware (and how many?) do I need to upgrade to the latest platform which i believe is Sonos 2.I have Sonos one hardware driving Sonos One Speakers. There are 8 outdoor speakers in four locations and 10 indoor speakers in 5 locations. I assume I can use the Sonos one speakers I have with the new Sonos 2 hardware. Many thanks for any insight. I recently installed the sonance 6.1 speaker system using 14-4 outdoor rated wire total length approx 200’ to last satellite speakerapp 140 feet from amp to sub woofer wired up everything correctly notice no bass from sub woofer went to EQ setting s on app adjusted bass treble loudness - still no bass from sub - I adjusted the L R balance bar a little bit then had bass from sub woofer - only get bass from subwoofer if the balance isn’t center - has to to off center to L or R to get bass - any idea - voltage drop ??please ring it thanks in advance

Three related requests.When selecting a recently played entry that is no longer valid Sonos offers to remove the associated Favorite, it would be good to also remove the recently played entry.As many recently played entries are useless, just a generic name that is of no help, or are something you want to avoid playing/being again a delete option would be good.As above since some entries have generic and useless names, allow us to rename them something useful. I don't need multiple "Top Songs" entries with no clue as to who's top songs shown.  

After housing for a week or so when it worked fine,  some reason Sonos could not find 3/5 pieces of kit and says “this kit is part of another system, reset and add to new system” - a real pain to have to force the reset on each and add - using “Sonos network” when it asked.however for 1 piece, this doesn’t work - it says created temp Sonos network “ but my phone cannot find it to connect to. Have tried adding it to system via Ethernet network but when I try and access it it disappears from the system and needs readding - any suggestions ?
