Greetings from Rhode Island.

My question is whtat hardware (and how many?) do I need to upgrade to the latest platform which i believe is Sonos 2.

I have Sonos one hardware driving Sonos One Speakers. There are 8 outdoor speakers in four locations and 10 indoor speakers in 5 locations. I assume I can use the Sonos one speakers I have with the new Sonos 2 hardware. Many thanks for any insight. Paul

I assume you want to know if your current Sonos hardware you are using on the Sonos S1 app will work with the Sonos App (fka S2).

Follow the steps in the link for a hardware compatibility check:

This assumes you haven’t down graded your Sonos to work on the S1 app.

Thanks, this clears things up! I’ll check the compatibility list and see which devices I might need to upgrade. Appreciate the help!
