Is there any way or update that can reduce the minimum delay (75ms) of a Sonos system, to a maximum of 7/10ms ? As it is now, its impossible to integrate properly with another system that cannot be delayed due to live performance reasons. Therefore going to Sonos in this scenario its a deal breaker, unfortunately.Looking forward to your reply and thank you very much for your time.Regards,Miguel Escada
Sonos mini update issues error :30 and error 1000
So I just switched to an ASUS Mesh Network. The ASUS app shows which mesh node the Sonos devices are connected to, but for whatever reason a bulk on my Sonos Devices show offline (even though they aren’t). The odd thing is some items are listed twice (offline and online) Some by the IP address and some by the MAC address and some are only listed by the IP address for instance my Sonos Arc Ultra, my Beam Gen 2, the Move 2. From what I can sort of tell the main speaker show up correctly, but if I have it set to a surround (2 rears and a sub) those devices show up offline by their IP address and online by their mac address. Any idea what is going on here?
Sonos strikes again. i now need to reconnect to my network even though i didn't make any changes.
I noticed this appeared on my network after installing a Sonos Ray.What is it for?It appears to be a upnp server of some sort.I would like to disable it if possible?I tried support but they didn’t know surprisingly.
Hi. I normally kept my One SL volume pretty low, about 10 or 11 on the slider scale. Now I have to turn up to 30 or 40 for the same sound level. Was there a change to the software volume levels? I’m worried the volume will return to previous levels and the sound will be really loud. Thanks,JK
One of my three Play1 speakers has started to misbehave. It only wants to be solo. All efforts to group it with another Sonos speaker gives me “unable to connect to device. try again later".The system is several years old. Other than a recent Roam2 addition. Why has one speaker gone weird?Tried so far: -Power off & on.System updates treble checked. Most recently I switched the troublesome speaker from Sonosnet Wireless to Wired
Muchas gracias por vuestra ayudaSaludos Moderator edit:Google Translate- Good morning.I have the following problem. When I start playing audio on the ERA 100 speaker, it sounds correctly, but when I want to share that same audio on a ONE located in another room at the same time, it doesn't sound on the ONE. However, if I do it the other way around, playing on the ONE and then sending
I have been working with Sons Tech Support for over 2 months now and still don't have any answers. I have a play base and two play 1 that were having some connections issues so i was lead to do an update. That's when the poop hit the fan. I could not get the play base to do an update with tech support see case number: ********. I was told that this was a know issue and they don't have an eta on when they will have a fix for it. I don't want this post to get deleted so i will stop there and not share my email correspondence with you all but lets just say it was sad. Is there anyone else out there experiencing a product update or registration issue? And if so what is the product you are using and how did you get it resolved….or is my hunch right and there are thousands of us out there that just in limbo?Moderator edit: Recorded and removed case number
I have a pre-amp record player, bought the Sonos cord USB-C to Audio plug and connected to ERA100. I see the signal is working from the turntable into the Sonos as the bar graph is working but no sound is coming from any speaker. The ERA 100 speaker is called “Sideboard” and the device on Line In is called “Turntable”. The turntable worked on S1 into a Play 5. Unplugging the cable removes Line In as a Source on My System so obivously ERA 100 sees the device. What am I doing wrong as all the setup is seemingly ok.
I am tearing my hair out ..!I have 2 Play:Ones, 2 Play:3s and a PlayBar. I upgraded from the S1 app to S2 but have had nothing but trouble. It took about 3days to get the 4 smaller speakers working together and I still can't add the PlayBar: error messages mostly, but even when I get to the end of the connection process and it says it's been added and plays the final chime it doesn't appear in the speaker list. Then individual speakers just disconnect from the account. I love the sound from the speakers but the app and connectivity are absolutely shocking. Any help gratefully received.

I have an amp running speakers in gym and added a sub. After setting it up an assigning it to the gym I get the tone out of the speakers acknowledging that it’s connected to the amp and the app says connected. But when I go back into my system the amp is not appearing in the gym and it’s not playing when select some music. I’ve removed it and added it back at least 5 times and factory reset and added it too.
Hi all.i am having issues with the Sonos sub, whereby it works when using Spotify but does not when using Mixcloud. I have tried removing and reconnecting the sub in the room. Thanks
After a proper upgrade, the device remains play: 1 say no connection can be made
I have tried several times to upgrade Play 1 and even with extended from Sonos helpline, failed to complete the process. Here is what eventually worked:Connect your Play 1 with a network cable to your router, power on your Play 1 while holding down play/pause, wait until it flashes orange and then you can release.. After approx. 2min it flashed green. DO NOT REMOVE THE POWER CABLE OR DISCONNECT FROM THE CABLE FROM THE ROUTER.Go to the app, the Play 1 should be visible and require adding to your system. Add it to your system and agree to the prompts to upgrade the speaker. Continue to follow the app prompts which then successfully updates the Play 1. Then disconnect the cable, and add it to your Sonos system following the + a speaker process of the app.It seems that staying directly connected to the Sonos web site via a cable worked for the UPGRADE rather than restarting and connecting via the app through your wifi. Hope this helps if all else has failed.
Good afternoon,I currently have two Sonos One speakers.A few weeks back, I downloaded the Sonos App on my iphone and installed Calm Radio as a service.Unfortunately, I have experienced several issues using the Sonos application.First, after installing the two speakers on the Sonos App, these settings disappear shortly after. Secondly, I attempted again today to add the two speakers to the Sonos app. The settings are no longer there a minute later.Currently, I'm only able to listen to Calm Radio using my iphone.Your assistance in resolving this issue is really appreciated at this point.
Hi folks,I’m a long term Sonos customer, circa 2010 with the original Play 5 and now with speakers dotted around the house. In the living room I have the Arc with a Sub (Gen2) and 2 x Play1s. I recall this system generating really punchy bass but after trying it recently all I can hear is muddled bass. There is no clarity whatsoever and I’m not entirely sure when this changed. The system is not truplay tuned but it shouldn’t need to be to generate half-decent sound. It’s so bad that I played the same track (Money for Nothing) on both the Arc/Sub and a single Five and the Five is a clear winner. The Five is an incredible stanalone speaker but there’s something not right with it being so much better than the Arc + Sub.In terms of EQ I have the following: EQ Bass +2, EQ Treble +8, Loudness disabled, Sub Level +3. Phase tried at both settings with no real change. The loudness doesn’t really make a difference either. For comparison the Five EQ is set to Bass +3 and Treble +5 with loudness en
Hello. I have connected 2 ERA100 via Bluetooth to my Halo+ Xgimi projector. Sound is not stable and is breaking up. I tried with my Move2 and it works fine. But with the ERA100 it doesn’t work properly as if there was some micro cuts all the time.
Looking for some guidance or ideas the best way to utilize all of my products. I have a beam (Gen 1) mounted under my tv in living room, 2 era 100 mounted on either side of couch used as surround. I was just gifted an era 300. Best way to use them together, certain way of grouping/zone setup? I was thinking maybe just use era 300 as a line in for my turntable for the time being until upgrade beam or get another 300 to swap the 100 surround. Ideas?
My sonos was working fine with upgraded sonos firmware in sonos play:1 system but it stopped working sometime back. Here are the things i tried to fix it:Reset the sonos play:1 Turn of power supply → press play button & volume up together (> & +)→ Turn on power supply → hold until it reaches permanent green light. Reset the sonos S2 app. Go to profile → App Prefrences → Reset App Set up the sonos again after above 2 options using Ethernet Cable. Setup done sucessfully over Ethernet but when Enabled the Wireless Network in App, it didn’t ask for credentials. Also when tried to locate the Sonos Product in App it wasn’t able to find it. Went through following page which didn’t help much but atleast one comment caught my eyes “the WiFi network though needs to be 802.11b/g/n compatible with security mode WPA-2 personal and the Sonos mobile controller device needs to meet these system requirements…” Also few comments suggested to downgrade Play:1 and try with S1 OS and APP. Hello Sonos Community! I have a Play 1 that I have had for years and is part of a stereo pair. For some reason, the Play1 will not power up when I plug it in or do a factory reset. In other words, the white light does not come on nor does it blink. I tried a different power cord (with the same receptacle), tried different outlets, etc. I just purchased a pair of Era100 and ready to get it set up to replace the Play1. Is there any hope for this Play1? Any repair options? Recycle time? I have Sonos products throughout our home and they are great! But do these products have a life span? I also might mention that this Play1 has not been damaged, subjected to abuse, exposure to liquids, etc. Hope all this makes sense. Thanks!
Today one of my speakers stopped playing music. I managed to connect it again but it wouldn’t allow me to add it to the existing room. I went around in circles trying everything I could find on the forums and then followed these steps.Factory reset both speakers Added the first one to the new room Added the 2nd speaker to the new room After this step there is only 1 speaker in the room When you select setup a stereo pair this screen displays and the product can’t be found: When I go to the App Both speakers exist in other settings, e.g. I can locate them in the settings to update the Network (they update fine and are both on the same network).I still have the problem with only 1 speaker working and not being able to add a pair. When I select I don’t see my product, it asks me to factory reset them again, which I have done 5 times now.The other issue is that neither is showing up in Spotify (and music is only coming out of the one speaker when you use spotify from within the Sonos app).
How to connect Era 100 to Samsung Freestyle?
I have a 11 sonos devices, Sonos One x3, era 100 x2, Five, Beam Gen1&2, Arc, Sub Gen3 x2. I’ve never had any issues over the last 4 years. 3 days ago I had a new wifi connection and router installed. The difficulty I have had trying to get them all onto the new network/ wifi is utterly ridiculous. I contacted Sonos and they said connect one speaker to the router with an Ethernet, which I’ve also seen mentioned on here. Doing so, got all the products back online but there is no way of inputting the new WiFi details name, password etc. the app only gives the option to begin setting each device to the network separately. However, this simply fails every time I attempt it and when I remove the Ethernet cable, the entire system goes off line. I would simply keep the Ethernet cable connected to the router but I need them to hardwire wifi to 3 tvs and a Philips hue bridge. can anyone help?? 🙏
